hey good afternoon everyone it's corey here welcome to the video and welcome to the channel as well um today guys we are going to be doing a japanese store tour that's right it's been a long time since i've uploaded a japanese store tour a lot of you have been requesting uh you know me for uh to do another japanese store tour it's been a while and um a lot of you have been requesting you know supermarkets so you're like corey when's the next supermarket video when's the next supermarket video so this is it guys we are going to visit a supermarket here um one of five big supermarkets near my house here in chiba so let's just get it started all right so today guys we're going to be going to this supermarket here right across the street it is called inagaya inagaya and uh i believe there's only 10 of these stores in chiba but probably over 60 in tokyo and this chain started off as a small kind of supermarket like corner store kind of a thing in tachikawa in western tokyo like in 1900 i think so very long time ago but uh it's evolved into this chain here so we're gonna go check this out and uh hopefully not get caught filming yay alright so first and foremost we're gonna um get a cart got the cart here we're gonna put a basket in it and then we do have to sanitize there we go get that in all right so if you guys are curious about the exchange rate i'll have that up on the screen right now when you first come in we've got a lot of different nuts almonds walnuts peanuts chiba prefecture is actually pretty famous and well known for peanuts let's see let's take a look at how much like a bag of one of these things costs this is uh one pack of walnuts california walnuts it's about 598 yen that's almost six dollars so nuts are sometimes pricey uh peanuts are the cheapest ones but yeah almonds uh cashews pistachios those are all going to be super expensive today is tuesday it is 1 pm right now so the lunch rush just ended and hopefully we can kind of enjoy this experience without a lot of people um it's a slice of watermelon for almost four dollars and cons you can see the i'm not going to point out the price for everything but you guys can hopefully see the signs pretty clearly and so the larger number is the price without tax and then below it is a smaller number and that is with tax so hopefully you guys can see that in the video so inside yeah this is the produce section let me uh let me backtrack a little bit kind of show you guys what's over here so we got different types of lettuce onions potatoes these are all your basics these ones right here are actually from local farms so they have some carrots and corn eggplants small potatoes yeah these are just from like some local growers around this neighborhood uh over there by the staff member is the natto section let me just kind of go look at it real quick this is my favorite type here nori noritare this is a seaweed flavored um natto so we're gonna get this i have a feeling we're gonna get flagged for copyright with the music that's playing in here but uh let's just keep going nothing i can do about it usually supermarkets play like their own jingles but this one apparently is playing like cover songs this is a cover of that living la vida loca song look at this tiny head of broccoli 198 yen you can also get half a head of broccoli for 108 yen but it has the the half off sticker so i think it's going to be only 50 yen for just this half cut half but yeah as noticed in my previous supermarket videos a lot of things are wrapped in plastic individually wrapped you can see here it's just kind of excessive single-use plastic these little cantaloupes here they're ranging from seven to ten dollars in price we've got a watermelon here this is one watermelon for 20 bucks she's we have a tomatoes okay sorry about that i had to actually take off my camera from my chest it was like really not working properly so i had to just go handheld for more control so i do apologize for any of that weird shakiness that just happened now but let's go guys let's go uh baby tomatoes see four tomatoes they're kind of like medium size for four dollars um here we have avocados for 138 yen not not too bad definitely not as big as the kinds that you can buy in other countries but yeah it is what it is uh more goods for cooking and stuff ginger lemon uh shredded oh not shredded but grated radish chopped stuff bean sprouts we've got 30 yen for bean sprouts it's about 25 cents and this is uh i don't know how many grams it's not on here oh 200 grams over in this section what do we got onions potatoes and then along this wall over here there is the pickled stuff lots of pickled stuff kimchi there's a kimchi section here there's also this konyaku and shirataki this is like jellied stuff lots of different uh ume this is all different pickled plums yeah so the the layouts of the supermarkets are kind of similar to each other you know and it's kind of like in the states as well or other countries where you know there's the produce section and you can kind of expect to find these types of things in and around that area uh over from this corner is the kind of like dumplings and steamed buns and stuff see here's a pack of uh gyoza [Music] 150 yen you can get a variety of noodles soba noodles udon noodles like zaru soba over here is more like ramen skimming yakitori not yakitori yakisoba my brain is not operating right now so these are all pre-packaged you just have to boil it up add the sauce packet and maybe some fresh veggies and stuff that you want to some additional toppings and you're good to go and if you don't want to make your own toppings they do sell them individually here you can get like some meat here's a set so it's the meat the egg and a bamboo shoot let's see this is a very nice supermarket it's uh very big very clean this is good lighting i just feel like it's such a nice clean place it's taken care of very well uh lots of fish cake stuff this is good lots of different uh fish with some veggies and pickled veggies and stuff this is pretty good as like a like a beer snack or even like a side dish got a different types of little anchovy fish here yeah in japanese called shirazu and those are really good uh with rice here's some ro tarako mentaiko it's a little like cod row herring row and they do have a small kind of a raw fish section here not a lot to choose from this is a the raw salmon it's so tiny and thin very thin and they do have some cut sashimi we're looking at uh some tuna right there 780 in for the big one and you can also buy these kind of mixed sashimi sets so since 680n it's got octopus and some different stuff in there there's scallops as well hmm do i want that that's really tempting should i get that i'll skip it i'll skip it i had sashimi for like the last three days in a row so i'm gonna skip it but yeah so that's it for the seafood section it's not too big over here's you know fish for frying and stuff this is a mackerel this is a saba down here different types of fish some of them are marinated you can see in here they've got the kind of like miso paste or some other kinds of paste yeah let's uh how can we do this i'm going to try to figure this out i guess we'll just continue along the outer edge of the store and then kind of hit the inside aisles on the way as we go along so here's the beef section beef section is not as impressive as other supermarkets 784 yen for this it's not that thick a little pricier compared to other places i've got a lot of thin slices of pork this stuff is used for shabu-shabu and i'm trying to remember some of you guys had questions about like the price of i think what was it ground beef yeah someone asked about well actually a few people asked about ground beef prices so let me try to get to that um they do have these different cuts here this is a liver and a tan this is a cow beef tongue cow tongue that's actually really really good i like to marinate it raw and eat it that way but sometimes cooking it up and into some kind of a dish that's also really really nice got different pieces of chicken lots of different cuts chicken gizzard um let's see here so here's like a pack of chicken thigh pretty hefty pack 661 grams for 779 yen we've also got the these uh gizzards all right is that what it's called so here we go we've got uh the different ground beef right here and so let's look at this this is 400 grams for 552 yen and you can buy like even a tiny amount here this one's a pork ground pork 229 yen so you can get them in different varying sizes and a lot of um the foods that use this kind of stuff are like gyoza and stuff so they do sell the wraps right here like dumpling wraps gyoza wraps yeah the sheet roll it up fry it steam it however you want to do it [Music] okay there's not too many customers as you can see there's like this one lady over here so this is kind of the time when the staff members you know kind of stock and do stuff so i'm kind of cautious right now with filming uh here's hambagu so it's not hamburger but it's called hambug and it's like a hamburger steak and you can eat them with like a demi-glaze a white sauce like tomato sauce many different ways but these ones have like cheese inside of it it's basically like a hamburger patty but kind of like a steak i don't know how to describe it hamburger steak i guess that's like the best way those are pretty good with rice um here's like meats and stuff for salad so they've got like your prosciutto jamun different slices of ham they also have a cooked chicken or so like you can shred it like shredded chicken put it into your salad lots of hams they do have this pastrami which actually i'm going to get because i like making pastrami sandwiches it's not exactly the same as the pastrami you can buy in the states but it's good enough it works it satisfies my craving i wish it was thicker though you can get johnsonville um kind of sausages here cheddar cheese garlic lemon and pepper these are all the different kinds of like japanese style breakfast sausage links these like the tiny ones i don't know if you can see that but they're little small bite-sized ones so coming up here it looks like there's uh the dairy section and some juice and then as we go around we're gonna hit up the bakery and then there's the prepared foods so they have uh some sushi bento and other kinds of bento in that section so yeah um here's the milk some of the milk is like just straight up milk with lactose but then there's other milks that uh have the lactose removed and so which one um i believe it's this one here yeah this is the one that i can drink it tastes just like milk because it is milk but they remove the lactose it's really really good but they also do sell soy milk almond milk strawberry milk and then they have the soy milk with different flavors like cocoa cocoa flavored soy milk banana fruits so those are good for the soy drinkers here's a variety of fruit blend juices and stuff like that how do you like this song by the way [Music] yeah and so they do have a cold pressed juice here look at this price though that's a one liter for almost eight dollars a little bit expensive but probably tastes really really good and down here these juices are kind of like your like cheaper juices like one you know one liter for a little over a dollar here's some oj it's probably from concentrate i think uh you can buy some coffee i have like iced coffee black coffee uh if you're a coffee connoisseur this is probably not the coffee you're gonna be drinking this is like the cheap stuff but it has caffeine so it works um you can also buy these pre-cooked egg rolls like steamed eggs i honestly don't like these i don't know just ever since i was a kid i think it's the texture and the fact that i ate so much of it when i was little that now i'm just like really tired of it you can buy marinated eggs here this is a almost five dollars so it's about a dollar each and then they have a spicy version here different beans black beans red beans lots of different um kind of side dish stuff here and they do sell roast beef this is one of the few places that i've seen that sells like legit roast beef this is a for sale 20 off so it's 598 yen but yeah 20 off of that it's actually not bad should i get that it's tempting but i'm gonna get the pastrami because i just like the pastrami flavor you can get some small salads it's like corn in the salad here's a seaweed salad i don't know if you can see that different types of seaweed inside of there yeah let's uh take take a look further down here so here we've got like potato salad potato salad macaroni salad there's like a pasta salad whole variety here's some pickled stuff pickled cabbages they have these um nominal sets the bibimbap just add rice and beef and some gochujang you can make your own bibimbap yeah so you're probably seeing like wow lots of food but also a lot of plastic like everything is just wrapped there's like one one thing inside of here this is a tempura tempura section and fried goods so i usually don't buy any of this stuff i'm just not a huge fan of like the fried stuff like don't get me wrong it tastes really good but you know when i first came here i came back to japan in 2019 i was definitely eating this stuff because it was so nostalgic but after a while it's just like man it weighs you down it's like too much fried stuff here's a fried shrimp shumai they do have a like calamari fried calamari rings lots of different stuff we have these uh fried shrimps this is the full shrimp head and tail everything when it's fried you can eat all that stuff i love it here's something interesting it's like a fried corn fritter i guess is the best way to put it it's like a fritter yeah corn fritter okay and here's their bakery section i find a loaf of uh it says hotel bread for 540 yen for one loaf a bit pricey they've got bread with uh different things inside of it um a little red bean and whatnot here's a egg egg and bacon sandwich uh sorry how can i say bacon and egg salad sandwich there we go 240 yen but this thing is pretty hefty and they toasted it like lightly on the side on the outside garlic bread different rolls hopefully i'm not going too fast but i do have to keep a pace because of uh the time you know like of the battery life of this camera so i'm trying to go and point out some of the interesting things you can get a cinnamon roll it's 100 yen and this thing just looks crazy this is a tapuricon delica so it's like just loaded with corn and mayonnaise on this bread thing kind of like a danish i guess this is like mayo cream and a ton of corn and mayo yeah just really weird here's a similar thing it's a bread with a little sausage in the middle and then some mayo i sure love the mayonnaise here but it's more like a cupi cupi mayo japanese mayo this is a panini this is a ham and egg salad panini it actually kind of looks really good and then here's the deli like coldest stuff so they keep these sandwiches cold but yeah let's uh let's venture back this way because we missed some other stuff it's different breads with edamame soybeans inside of it here's a bread with like uh what is that meat sauce and um eggplant raisin breads yeah lots of different stuff here kind of little donuts chocolate dipped donuts okay here's more of the bento so these are prepared like lunch meals you can eat them for dinner or whenever you're hungry we've got fried foods there's uh spaghetti omud ice just the omelet rice lots of different varieties of things yeah and uh here we've got different kind of bento with a variety of uh tempura inside here's a kappa rice this is a thai food voodoo hunt this one has uh the shirazu on top those little anchovies on rice 498 yen it's pretty good it's like a standard price for bento but what's nice is that um you know after 5 pm 6 pm 7 pm they start marking down all of these things like to as low as like 60 70 off because we're just trying to sell it you know before the end of the day this looks amazing this is a special for my friend and moderator danny look at that egg yolk that is huge but this is like a yaki udon fried udo noodles with the egg i think i'm gonna actually get this yeah that looks great that's gonna be my my quick meal when i get home today they do sell takoyaki you see the takoyaki balls and more sushi there's more stuff over there a whole variety we've got a bread section here let's take a look real quick so they do have this what is this it's like a lemon pound cake it's teriyaki burger chicken katsu burger it's just a burger and a paper wrap just sitting on the shelf amazing i think i've shown this in a previous video of the supermarket they have these little packaged sandwiches with the crust cut off but it's got like different fillings ham tuna and mayo egg salad peanut cream this is mango jam mango jam on this one they do have the yakisoba sandwich as well okay and i think there's another section over here with uh noodles udon and soba lots of different choices and then they have also have uh some yakitori some chicken skewers right there uh coming to the sushi it looks like this place got kind of wiped out at lunch time which just happened well there's like nobody in here look at that we have a few people but yeah this is a very good time to come in and film but down here uh what do we got yeah different rolls lots of different roll sushi i like these sets right here these ones are kind of like the type that i get 698 yen sometimes you can get these for like 20 off 30 off if you come a little bit later but those go really quickly all right coming around they have these like maritots i guess that's what it's called this is kind of like a new trend in popular it's like a bread thing with cream and some custard i've seen a few of those around it just seems like a new thing i don't know yogurt this is the kind of more traditional japanese kind of snacks [Music] like mochi bread and dorayaki dango mitarashirango the soy sauce glaze here's the normal kind of iconic pink white and green dango so those are just like mochi rice balls we do have some normal slices of bread so you can get like uh i don't know just for example here eight slices white bread 148 yen but they have the shokupan as well uh like like these they're really thick slices 180 yen it's really good they do sell english muffins as you can see right there they have something similar to a hamburger bun but it's not butter rolls yeah it's really hard i can't ever find hamburger buns but i can always find hot dog buns so they have hot dog buns right there at the bottom uh right there yeah but no hamburger buns i can't ever find them anywhere i would make my own hamburgers you know they have the ground beef but anyways it is a it is what it is pound cake we've got these plastic cup drinks kind of to-go drinks little coffees and stuff they do have um mount rainier and i think do they have the starbucks one they have detour coffee okay they don't have the starbucks at this one but some other supermarkets will have a little starbucks brand coffee this looks good watermelon mixed smoothie 158 yen this is a muscat grape and aloe drink sounds kind of good but it sounds really sweet oh here's starbucks i didn't see it i've got the espresso starbucks espresso okay let's try to keep going these are all desserts lots of cakes and shoe cream we've got puddings shout out to caliber and his flan fetish jelly stuff here's butter margarine they've got cheese this is all like processed cheese like sliced cheese and stuff little cheese desserts like cheese desserts with lemon here's one from uh with uh peach there's even one with uh rich nuts blueberry so they have all these different yeah flavored ones here too you can see there's just a whole variety you know these are like strawberry camembert there's uh hazelnuts almonds like all kinds of different flavors so i come around the corner camembert and then they do have a small section with like actual actual cheese but they're so expensive um so like i don't know here's a thing of brie 428 yen you can get some shredded cheese 200 grams of a mix this looks like cheddar and mozzarella for 270 yen it's a little bit cheaper at my other supermarkets and they do have uh kind of like not frozen pizza but just like cold packaged pizza that you can heat up and in the oven or nuke it they do sell flour tortillas here's a pack of five for 348 yen that's more expensive uh than this other supermarket that i go to they sell this exact same one for 250 yen so 100 yen cheaper at the other place yeah they also sell uh pancakes and corn dogs call it american dog and pancakes these little tiny like fluffy pancakes okay back to the coffee um here's eggs how much is a thing of eggs 188 yen for a dozen eggs there you go and you can get like free range eggs and yeah here free range cage free non-gmo six for 298 yen so you can get those if you wanted uh what do we got here this is a like yogurt yogurt drinks probiotics i'm just gonna kind of skim past this i know in in my last supermarket video i didn't notice the greek yogurt and i was pointing right at it but yeah they do have greek yogurt here it was funny in my last video i was like i don't see greek yogurt and it was like literally right in front of me as i was saying that check this out greek yogurt and so these are pretty good though because uh they have different ones lg 21 r1 these like pa3 these yogurt drinks and stuff they're good for like gouts and lowering like certain things that build up in your body over time and can cause health issues we do have a frozen section so they've got haagen-dazs many different flavors green tea creamy gelato cookies and cream kind of i guess the standard flavors i don't really buy this stuff lady borden here's more of the japanese brand stuff here pinot a little little bon bone kind of a thing ghana chocolate is very uh well known we've got matcha ice cream bars right there ice bars chocolate hershey's they've got the choco mint again i think i've shown this in another video shout out to the choco mint fans yeah okay um let's keep going and you can buy ice here bag of ice clean ice it says clean ice on it 298 yen for two kilograms you can get frozen veggies they have everything from asparagus spinach broccoli edamame we've got french fries a bag of 300 grams of french fries 198 yen not bad not bad um dumplings gyoza chicken uh what do you call it chicken nuggets i apologize but all the windows here are kind of like fogged up but yeah um lots of ready-to-eat meals guys ready to eat japan really specializes in the kind of like pre-packaged ready-to-eat meals um you know people work long hours here when they get home they're like super tired so they just want to nuke something really quickly and just eat and go to sleep so you can get pasta all different types of pasta in that form uh here's the frozen pizza we got a margarita pizza here's a shrimp something pizza all right we're coming to the drink aisle look look how full that is everything's been freshly stocked after the lunch rush like they're it's just like full that is full full full full i'm not sure what to point out here uh like anything interesting because most of these drinks you can see in many other videos of mine as well as on in vending machines and in convenience stores like the salt lychee drink i've had that in a convenience store video before um i'm trying to see where's the milk tea i know people like milk tea i don't see it oh here it's one of the kitten milk tea which is really good they got peach tea they do sell monster and red bull energy drinks here water sparkling water so i've been drinking a lot of sparkling water i've been sober for over eight months now and i've been drinking a lot of that but speaking of sober let's go to the alcohol section they've got wine you got your hard liquors here different wines and stuff like that i'm just gonna skip over this stuff because i think you all can imagine like you know oh it's whiskey oh it's got gin and vodka sake wine yay they do have this uh alcohol cooler here as well high balls koshu whiskey highball it's very famous brand of japanese whiskey strong zeros yeah all of that stuff is here the different kind of cider drinks they've got a kind of like bitter sour drinks here they do sell some craft drinks let me see uh this is just normal beer okay i'm not seeing the craft stuff it was like usually like a small section and it was local like japanese craft beers you know if you're looking at like a can of saporo right here 240 yen for a tall boy 500 milliliters they do have the okinawan orion beer which is really good ah yeah here so this is just a small one they got the aoni craft beer here this is like a similar to an ipa oh actually it is an ipa 260 yen and a suntory craft this one's like a dark lager i think was it an amber i forget anyway so they do have that they do have champagne trying to get your bubbly on club sodas for mixing and then they sell like concentrated forms of uh like sweet liquor which you mix um here's more beer i've never seen this what is this oh it's uh this is low alcohol 0.5 percent beery that's a funny name okay this is alcohol free section 0.0 or just really low yeah here's more of those like concentrated forms of like lemon sour so you get like a whole container here and just buy some club soda or soda or whatever and mix it they do have soju 278 per bottle it's about twice the price of what it is in korea and lots of shochu and sake and stuff like that i think this is a pretty good brand nikka but yeah back to this aisle here where the the drink cooler was they do sell bottled water um cc lemon shout out to aniel calpis soda tea lots of uh teas here i usually buy some of these two liter bottles like uh the mugicha that's barley tea i usually get that and then they've got the green tea down here i get that as well those are like my two go-to's for tea you can buy a canned coffee right here this is like the vending machine kind of canned coffee juices all right this end cap here has a matcha chocolate sandwich cookies strawberry chocolate cookie that actually looks really good caramel we do have a coffee section they do have starbucks i think someone asked me that in a previous video do they have starbucks coffee here they do they sell ground coffee they also sell instant coffee right here this is all instant then we got these uh instant cups right here from starbucks condensed milk and creamer they do have the bright nestle creamer from the states lots of different coffee sticks and then tea they've got tea as well twinnings tea apple tea peach tea yeah this um i heard this brand is actually pretty popular in the states this one my brother actually uh showed me that and i was like oh yeah i see that all the time i've never tried it though have you guys speaking of you guys if you guys have any questions or comments about anything you see in this video please leave a comment down below i will definitely try to reply back we've got different types of soups they do sell campbell's minestrone clam chowder corn potting soups it's usually those three only that i see i never see any other candle soups yeah these are all like corn soups um we do have honey and agave and kind of all the sweet stuff here here is the price of peanut butter in japan we've got skippy chunky or skippy creamy they are uh what is it it's 12 ounces 548 yen it's over five dollars almost five and a half dollars for the small one so peanut butter is expensive the like american style peanut butter protein bars and cereal this is the cereal section right here they don't sell cereal in boxes it's all in bags which is probably something many people haven't seen before but yeah they do sell like moussely and kind of a mix i usually get this one right here but uh no like really crazy flavors i'm trying to see if there's a crazy flavor not really it's like granola mix and oh here's a strawberry choco kind of a cereal i guess that's a weird one yeah that's it down here's a lot of the candies and gummy stuff so many different kinds of chocolate dark chocolate and japan has been on this new chocolate mint kind of hype like trend recently this is new meiji mint chocolate i think i'm gonna actually get this it's 198 yen there's a 12. crunky bits this is the more kind of nostalgic japanese candy section right here and just for the children children section there's like toy candies and things like that little toys little collectibles some mario candy pikachu cookies these gummy things i'm sure that is speaking of gummy they have actual gum right here all different types of flavors grape lemon muscat mint there's mentos i see mentos or gummy candies they have the haribo gummy bears this is like gummy sours it's funny because some of these say like it's sour but to me it's not sour this is a nodo-ame it's like throat candy just suckers like lozenges and like werthers and stuff like that right here stuff that you can just suck on got the traditional kind of japanese dry crackers and snacks and stuff around here lots of these here and they sell packages of chocolate which are individually wrapped they do have some kitkat here they have limited kitkats flavors there's matcha and some kind of a biscuit like a wheat biscuit and dark chocolate regular chocolate i've got these uh in korean they call them like tu tupa it's like little jelly things uh sorry actually these are not too cheap sorry they're in the same container jujube you freeze those are just actual jellies sorry my bad i was confused there for a second um pokey no real like crazy wild flavors right now um you can probably find more of those things in like touristy areas in tokyo and since we're in chiba prefecture it's kind of more conservative normal flavors almond crush and you know like tasty uh whatever um honey chocolate or something oh honey butter yeah so nothing too wild out here that oreos small box uh 12 oreos in it for 148 yen good cookies i feel like i missed um two sections over here so let me just kind of see if i can backtrack to it i think it was yeah okay here's more japanese snacks rice crackers these are all different types of rice crackers on this side we've got a little bit more of the traditional japanese stuff as well traditional snacks and then a rice lots of different rice right here let's see five kilograms of rice 2 180 in um so yeah it's about 20 i'm seeing everything in the 2000 yen range so it's about 20 dollars for 5 kilograms of rice and since it is summer it is a ramune time so if you guys don't know ramune is this famous kind of soda drink and they come in this bottle that has a marble inside of here so when you push it down to open it the marble's inside and it stays right there so when you drink it it kind of makes this clinking noise they've got pineapple melon flavors strawberry watermelon um an orange yeah this was the other aisle i forgot to go down but this is all like drinking snacks there's like dry squid and octopus legs peanuts um beef jerky beef jerky is pretty expensive um we're looking here at this thing is so light so thin 88 grams how much is it 728 yen that's like seven dollars for this less than 100 grams of beef jerky are seven dollars it's so expensive cheese snacks mixed nuts bag of mixed nuts um 278 yen let's see how much are the pistachios 598 yen for this much what is this how much is this 180 grams of pistachios for about six dollars yeah on this side i forgot to show you it's the one cup ozeki more sake and stuff okay let's continue so going down this aisle here's more chips different chips um this one's like wagyu with onion kind of strong flavors um it's funny because these things say they're spicy it's like well spicy but they're they're not spicy trust me i've given up looking for spicy chips in japan because they're just not spicy whatsoever um different normal types of chips here cheddar cheese shrimp chips steak chips jagadi jagabe is really good they're very crunchy kind of chips they do sell pringles but they only have cheese and original flavor here that's it nothing special and uh on the other side is all the noodles dried noodles so we've got all the different small cup noodles all around here here's an interesting flavor there's a cheese curry this is a what is this shiel this is a salt salt base so many different types here's all the right yakisoba got the characters on there um and just some kind of more cheaper ramen similar to like top ramen or maruchan ramen back in the states these are all kind of your like base ramens but these are all way better these all taste insanely better ah this one oh it looks spicy it says it has a lot of capsaicin in it this is by missing wow and shout out to everybody who loves the shin mamiyan give the video a thumbs up if you love the xin namin okay more uh kitchen things okay we've got pictures for drinks disposable cups and plates down there not so disposable cups and plates here utensils you can buy a variety of chopsticks if you needed them they're you know ranging from four to six dollars in price you can get some cute ones for like kids and stuff some of these might interest you guys here's like the cat from uh kiki's delivery i think yep and here's a totoro it's kind of cool i don't know if you could see that yeah so i've got some studio ghibli um chopsticks little bento things okay and over on this side more kitchen items peelers shredders knives cabbage peeler light okay why is it light yeah does uh does your supermarket in your home area or your country sell these kinds of things inside of it like frying pans and pots and stuff i don't think i've really seen that many supermarkets i've been to a lot of different countries i don't really recall seeing these kinds of things inside of a supermarket maybe a little bit but not like so much yeah ziploc containers foil wraps so here we've got a dessert and cake kind of things there's like jams and jellies canned fruit here's like stuff for baking baking powder vanilla extract pancake mix this is the pasta section from here uh everything in this framed shot is pasta so we've got tomato sauces and noodles there's a lot of these things that people get where it's like the sauce so you just cook the noodles the sauce is ready to go you don't have to make it from scratch so that's like really really popular i've used it quite a few times i like to get the kind of uh like cheese cheese sauces and stuff i know how to cook everything from scratch including the noodles but it like i don't have any kitchen space like i don't have a counter really basically and so yeah sometimes it's just easy to cook that kind of stuff but yeah all the different types of noodles there on this side is the packaged curry so some of this curry over here like like these ones right here they're the the kind of brick one that you throw in but a pot and it kind of becomes curry and then they also sell just straight up like pre-made curry in a in a pack so like it's inside the pack already and you just heat it up so it's also you know for convenience these are pretty good there's a whole wide variety there's like butter chicken there's like indian curry thai curry japanese curry they do sell packs of rice as well so it's already cooked you just have to heat it up in the microwave and it steams inside of the container there's a wide variety of like blended rice and whatnot i don't have a rice cooker so when i feel like eating rice i actually eat these you just nuke it for two minutes and you're good to go you can get uh some porridge rice porridge as well in containers like crab rice porridge 248 yen and these are like soft foods these are for like elderly people here very easy to eat easy to swallow it doesn't really require chewing but like pumpkin soup rice soup and then over here is the kind of like dried mochi rice things [Music] and you can fry those up fry those up on a grill or something make them nice and tender they do have um dishwashing stuff and detergents yeah and on this side um looks like uh what do you call it like scented things aerosol there's cleaning products we've got sponges uh different bags there's all the trash bags down at the bottom for burnable trash for this area so i could use that i actually think i need to buy some so let's take a look um these are too big i need a smaller size where's the smaller size those are these are all huge um do they even sell the smaller size here okay i don't see the smaller size at this one um they all look like the large ones there's a smaller one that i can get at the supermarket near my house this one this supermarket is a little bit further away so yeah i think on my way home i'll just hit up the other one laundry detergent detergents and softeners bleach yeah okay let's keep going guys hope everyone's doing okay and enjoying this video sorry if i skipped over some things and i didn't talk about the prices so much it's just there's a lot to cover and uh if i tried to go over the price or the details of every single thing we would be here for like five hours straight so not trying to make a five hour video um this is a like mostly like chinese kind of food it's like mapo tofu and stir-fried like chinese things but these are all um like ready to go kind of it's just the sauce and so you just add the veggies like the eggplant and the beef and stuff and then add the sauce and it's good to go with some rice yeah so they have all of that right here lots of uh kind of chinese spices right in this section and then we do have a spice section here with all your kind of standard kitchen spices pepper parsley basil cinnamon all that look kind of you guys know what i'm trying to say it's all right here they do sell the togarashi all the different togodashi's and whatnot these are all red pepper seasonings red chili oils garlic pepper it's our garlic powder and they do have kind of a horseradish and wasabi section right here and mustards the spicy mustards yeah so you can get some pretty good kind of wasabi stuff here uh we do have uh mayo qp mayo salad dressings salad dressings uh here's canned tuna canned fish can mackerel lots of different stuff they've got a more like gourmet version of things too they're a bit pricier here's a shampoos and other things hand soap body soap i'm just kind of brisking or breathing maybe that's the word i'm looking for breezing through this section dental care i don't think i need to like show every little detail of this kind of stuff but they do sell these little um like what do you call it like toothpicks and floss picks kind of clean between your teeth different uh sauces these are all for different types of cooking japanese cooking yakitori steak yakiniku tonkatsu all those yummy different flavors that you guys know from japanese cooked foods oils here's a dried goods it's all things you add to like soup or making like a broth seaweed kombu here's a whole like furikake section these are all like dried flakes and stuff that you add to rice you could make mocha sake if you added green tea to it this is really good it's tp 258 yen for a pack of 12. there's a double ply got more tp it's funny because i remember at the beginning of the pandemic this was all empty and here we are just overloaded with tp we've got diapers there's a pack of how many is in there i don't know but it's a about 12 feminine products here all different varieties they do sell stockings and underwear and socks i guess if you to show this and bag at the same time so carry my little uh oh my god all right guys i do apologize for the way this video ended um the camera actually died right as i was bagging the groceries plus at the end there it was really wonky with the the way the camera just kept like tilting i actually had it on the hands-free thing on my chest but like i was bending over to like do stuff and then like the camera kept tilting forward and so it was like a a weird ending i i do apologize for that um it wasn't the way i was hoping that this would end but uh yeah so i had to actually come back home and
