these days we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to look absolutely flawless yeah vicky we see you but if you're a girl in today's world you're well aware that not everything is always as it seems man could these jeans be any tighter perhaps it's because they're stuffed with giant maxi pads sure they make your curves look great but boy are they uncomfortable we're about to let you in on some of our favorite weird beauty hacks while lily is hard at work vicky seems to be more focused on her new nails so glad i went with candy apple red ugh come on no i just got these done i can't believe this it's okay dick it's just a nail here do you want the last step of my soda that's kind of gross but you're sweet to offer thanks nothing like a little sugar to cure the blues right wait a second this red bottle matches my nails maybe i can do something to fix this awful situation first cut the plastic bottle down the middle like this then take off the bottom part of the wrapper and remove it from the plastic it's attached to now snag a pair of scissors and cut the plastic ring wrap the plastic tightly around the pen like this keep going till it's wrapped tightly all the way around once you run out of plastic to wrap secure it closed with a thin piece of tape drop it in a little bowl and fill it with piping hot water fill it up all the way after some time passes and the water cools off a bit you can take the little plastic piece out get rid of the bowl and cut the plastic long ways [Music] now flip it around and do the same thing on the other side there you go see all those plastic pieces all you need is one for this one nail glue will serve as the base of your new acrylic nail now take the plastic and place it over your nail and add some nail polish to top things off hey that looks feeling the pink well that was easy but what good are glamour eyes without a puckered pout to match you've got to be kidding me what a time to run out of lipstick i do have some plain chapstick and i know just how to jazz it up the eye shadow sticks right on ready to see some makeup magic apply it right to the lips like normal the buttery smooth balm works great see how the color comes out and before it's done rub your lips together a bit that turned out perfect as good as you do your makeup touch-ups throughout the day are essential [Music] this palette sure is bulky any room for my an a i'll just make my own a fresh jar of honey maybe all hope isn't lost after all first you need to mix the ingredients in a bowl [Music] just take a tablespoon of ground and a little dollop of honey let the honey drip off the spoon and onto the coffee grinds then add just a splash of water the content should meld together take a cotton pad and cut it in half now carefully place them into the bowl they should soak it all right up then put those suckers right over those bags caffeine is a miracle for puffy eyes and now we wait being beautiful is so much work and i was like lily let me call you back lily you fell asleep at the counter again what your eyes whatever you did worked like a charm yes coffee's the best thing ever wow if anyone asks i'm sunbathing by the pool all afternoon to your face i don't want to talk about it it hurts too much too bad it's not halloween you could totally be a clown looking like that you know you could have just asked to borrow my lip liner it enhances the look of your lips and it's a whole lot less painful start by putting a liner right where your skin meets your lips then take your favorite tinted lip gloss and apply it starting from the edges of your lips like so oh don't forget the top now take a white makeup pencil and very lightly outline the middle edge of your top lip then add a little bit of white liner to the middle edge of your bottom lip pretty cool huh see look how great lana's lips look now [Music] see this trick's a whole lot easier than sucking an empty jar let's try these selfies again shall we oh yeah that's much and in this case a grumbly tummy if you're a girl you know doing your hair every day can feel like a chore but if you'd love to spice things up a bit perhaps you should try something different [Music] what to do in there vicky whoa how many elastics is that does this ponytail ever end what on earth vicky solving math equations takes total concentration way to watch that mane lily i didn't mean to do it i swear but long hair can be a problem in more ways than one back my hair almost came out of my head that time i knew i should have worn a ponytail today uh you may want to be careful with that pencil lily [Music] oh this really hurts that's it this hair is going up people now i should finally be able to concentrate well that was a fail oh lily you really got that pencil tangled in there found it i have a hair tie you can borrow actually i think i have an even better idea start with a high ponytail like this then stick the pencil in the hair above it grab two little strands from the pony like this then flip them over the pencil start to make them into a braid as you go gather more strands as you flip them over the pencil don't forget the other side then when you get to the bottom keep the braid going and finish it off with an elastic a little rubber band works best whoa take the pencil out to see the magic don't forget to tuck the tail end in if that's not instagram worthy hair i don't know what is it looks pretty fab if i do say so myself don't forget you're still in class girls [Music] time to attempt the old at-home pedicure you hang in here while i prep my little a braid guide it's way easier than free handing it simply start outward and go in then keep going and work down the strand one more and now for the tie go around a few times making sure it's nice and tight this is super cute and just from this thing see ya don't freak out [Music] don't drop it don't drop it there we go gotta start with a good base oh yeah nice and smooth gorgeous and next we gotta get nice long lashes see that magic and next a little lip color is a must isn't this new color to die for pucker up buttercup can't forget my signature scent yum oh can't forget about this hair or take this flat iron and twist it around like this that didn't work oh yikes i'm just gonna share this mirror if you don't mind hey think you could share that eye pencil with me for just a minute curly hair here i come simply wrap a single strand around a thin pencil like this then with your free hand press the flat iron over the hair wrapped around the pencil wow check it out a real curl pretty soon you can cover your whole head with them man you look awesome with hair like that sofia oh and here's your pencil back lana [Music] wow sofia you made your hair look exactly like the picture and now without further ado it's selfie time wish you had long luscious locks like lana's sophia you're sitting on my hair geez while having long hair may look fabulous it can get in the way of the simplest things like putting on your backpack for example okay i can't take it anymore i think it's finally time for me to get rid of this hair once and for all [Applause] [Music] lana no i can't believe you almost cut off your gorgeous hair i know you want to but i just can't let you cut your shiny mane hey is that a bow there on your overalls mind if i borrow it for a sec if your long hair is making your life difficult these days try this game changing first put the wrap around your neck and wrap it back around your hanging strands now tie it in a knot and slowly pull it down so it's just about three quarters down the length of your hair once it's tight lift the tie up so that the tail gets tucked under the rest of your hair next tie the wrap over the top of your head and into a bow next thing you know you'll have a new short haircut without ever having come in contact with any shears lana sure looks fabulous doesn't she mina i can't believe how good your new hairdo looks who needs to make expensive trips to the salon when you can completely revamp your look with a simple scarf isn't this dress the cutest ew gross what you're just a little sweaty so embarrassing just need a little touch up the plushie brush is always best so absorbent the sweat will be gone in no time excess powder be gone how much was on that thing is it over yet just a tad more is it covering the sweat up yet it sure feels nice anyway can't forget the nose can we all ready things look better now um okay girl needs a mirror sweat free baby i had a fantastic time with you um well good night i guess actually see you tomorrow chris [Music] she actually kissed me oh what's on my face is that oh what's up i guess we're hanging out that was some good sleep this glitter sure is clingy um do you more spray especially on top it's just so much you need a lot it's the only way more more you're not there yet yes this was the hold you needed nothing can stop you or your hair now we will be
