that was our mom thank you so much to another humble um today we have a really amazing panel lineup I mean I don't know if I've had this much representation of the fandom in one place at one time so I'm really excited um we're going to get done in under 45 minutes hopefully because they start kicking us out for the Twilight people after [Applause] that they have and [Applause] too so here's how it's going to go so basically the way we do it is we're going to do a quick introduction of our awesome panelist and we're going to start with Kevin because he's our puppet vender you know and then we're basically going to go down the line Dy will be last because you know um we're going to go to the line we do brief introductions for everybody and we're have a little slideshow playing as it goes on so you can see some of the examples of their work and their pretty faces as well so you know take a look at both it's a multimedia experience all right so without more talking for me we're going to start with Kevin Copa and then as we move down just introduce ourselves hi I'm Kevin Copa people are cooler check them out hi I'm DJ wel dark Cy hi am Bobby [Applause] Rubio and [Applause] [Music] I'm if we had enough time I would ask her to do that believe me okay so we have our introduction so what we're going to do is we're going to start a slides of presentations we're going to start with DJ DJ is a fan artist that um you may know from Deviant Art and one of the things that we do at Avatar L fan panels is we sort of marry the professionals with the fans because basically that's who inspires us to create and continues the legacy of Avatar if you will and so we always have a fan artist showcase and Kenji is our fan artist showcase today so we're going to show you some of his art he's really awesome and he's also a really great cos player you you see this I mean can't qualify for but um TJ can you tell us a little bit about um when you began um join for were you already a professional or were you still learning um I already work uh professionally I've had the opportunity to work at Network [Applause] [Applause] okay now it's DJ all right so DJ finish talking about his fan we won get to Dante I promise you I promise okay goe can you talk oh well you know you can go ahead and talk about how you working Cartoon Network oh yeah um so I had the opportunity to work at Cartoon Network as storyboard intern on fire breather Adventure Time right now I currently work with table happy Studios my friend and John Galloway and we work like on Lego and blizzard and stuff like that so yeah all right by the way okay Bobby Rubio storyboard artist hi guys uh Bobby rub I was assistant director and story artist on avatar Last Air vender for two and a half Seasons yeah uh Anthony leoy the director and John Carlo he's not here okay I kicked him out I he's okay I didn't really kick him out he he gave up his seat for a fan uh I left uh Avatar after two and a half Seasons to go to Pixar I'm a storyboard artist at Pixar I've worked on uh up Brave Monsters University which is coming out [Music] next and's new project which is called the de um and after hours I do my own threee own book called after Trav high and my book is at 1943 by side show just walk up 1900 and I'll any Avatar stuff any bra stuff any Pixar stuff you guys have he likes to take pictures ofers okay so now I'm going introduce y hiru who is the artist team currently working on the dark force graic novels let them talk about how they get involved with dark course and how they like working on the upar project sorry for the jaese our name ISU not mine but uh two of them are a team of artists she's the panor inor and she's the colorist [Applause] they live they actually live in Japan and but they've been working on the American comic book industry for 10 years now so they had an offer for doing an work about two years ago that was a short story for niod magazine I think that was published in Europe and then later on they worked on the uh that I think everybody knows spe so right now they're also working on marble books and maybe you might have uh heard of the announcement that they are going to do a uh X bab's ABAB one shot for marble that's coming out in I think in October November it's written by scottian and uh they're also they just finished the third book for uh promise and now starting to work on the next uh three books uh called search I don't any do this but they started doing the books in small batches so a lot of fans are really worried if they're going to keep continuing the story line obviously are I don't know if you've seen any of the pictures lately but um the next line um the search has a pick your first on it so and now I'd like to hear from M Whitman very I just want to first of all say it is is so cool to be in this room with you guys because this show means so much to me and and you guys are just clearly get it and it's so cool to be in here with you guys I love you guys um yeah this is great to be here with these guys and this this is so cool I don't know if you guys have a chance to look at it yet but I mean it's the artwork is beautiful and you know to be here with everybody I also want to say that uh sitting here in front of us is D Bradley Baker who did the voices for every POA Momo every weird Half Breed you know half lur Dragon Buffalo thing he invented a voice for so really happy to have [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I'm really excited here we we'll talk more but now I'm going to pass the mic down to my best [Applause] friend what's up sorry I this is amazing I I love coming to love like M this show me so much to me and uh to see so many of you here and so many people that love the show it's just uh it just it just feels great to be amongst friends and SE may this year was like back together okay so we have a special treat for a young reader that was uh asked to come up here um and while you're that ready um I'm me tell you a little bit about what this is I like to call this you are now reading this in my voice so basically every time I read anything for avar last I hear their voices so they're here with us now so we could give you that gift no way [Applause] so along with you so while I'm doing that I'm getting our young reader ready um sisu is going to show up and have another volunteer we have a young volunteer and show us some fending moves over here so I would invite you volunteers to come up one is going to go with kissu and the other's going to come up to me and we're going to get you set up for our Comics reading okay all right over [Applause] here record [Music] [Applause] I want to learn nervous [Music] all we don't have enough time thank [Applause] you I love how everyone of us we need a bigger panel [Applause] room that's how they do here ATC this is a fan panel room and unfortunately our fan well not unfortunately it's awesome we have a lot of fans they come out to our show so I'm hoping that maybe we'll vet our way into a bigger room [Applause] something so he's a little nervous our reader but you know he's really confident though and I really feel he's going to do a great job reading a so when he's ready um you can go ahead and bring up that okay so I'm going to kind of uh address the beginning basically if you haven't read the um graphic novels I'm I'm not going to spoil it for you but this is a small part of the graphic Nos and there's a fight happening right now with a and a fire fire nation Soldier and so it starts out with a lot of action a lot of whoosh and SSH and bow I'm not good that I'm not [Music] second okay I guess I'm an incidental here all [Applause] right St oh crunk is into dancing cool I don't want to fight who's this that oh hey what are you dogs waiting for attack hey don't worry sweetie I [Applause] can he and you're on fire what' you say you're clothes they're on for crying out loud oh thanks that's it stop trying to set my boyfriend on [Applause] fire hey you're okay I'm fine oh can't you people just give it a rest that he just wants to talk aqara [Applause] stop let go Zuko you're hurting me don't make me hurt you back I'm hurting you what are you doing to my soldiers my people let go hero she said you're hurting her first she has to agree to stop attacking my people your soldiers attacked first let her go now I am the fire Lord I have to protect the citizens of Fire [Applause] Nation came here to talk to you Zuko as a friend but you've changed you've forgotten what we fought for maybe Avatar wrote who's right maybe a promise is a promise wow W and and stop if you enter the Avatar state in such an emotional way you won't be able to control yourself you have to calm down please sweetie for me I can't believe it I might have done something terrible without even thinking it through Zuko I'm soar is right we both need a calm down are you kidding me that's what I wanted in the first place [Music] [Music] look forward to seeing that young man into some upcoming Animated Adventures don't you think okay so um before we go any further we're probably going to have a question and answer something and I know we have a lot of room so don't rush it's only 10 minutes long so definitely think of a really good question don't ask anything about shipping or how to get to 208 or anything like that um which is basically um get in line and he's going to come up here [Applause] microphone BR find but how was that was that awesome now you can actually read these Comics hear their voice honestly I can't say the word honor without hear My grandmother used to tell me stories and it's the same thing like one of my favorite scenes um where guitar says you can't knock me down anytime I'm feeling like I just oh I just stop and I think you can't knock me down good to hear the voices the comic so definitely if you buy a comic open it up read it to somebody else and it's this fine moment you just experience okay so we're going to have some questions definitely talk to everybody up here they're all talented don't all talk to D
