we already have a video on how to connect Google Sheets with Microsoft Excel this is useful when you are working on a Google sheet and you want to see the updated data on your computer but in this video you are going to see the exact opposite here we will see how to auto update the Google sheet based on the data you have on the Excel file on your computer and how to create the auto synchronization like when you update some data on the Excel file it will be Auto synchronized to the Google Sheets so for that first we have to save the Excel file on our computer so we will save this file on our computer and make sure you are saving the file to the OneDrive folder on your computer if you don't have OneDrive just download the OneDrive application from the internet and install it and make a folder on your computer because we are going to synchronize the data with Google Sheets right so we have to save all the files on the OneDrive folder I have like I am saving this file to my OneDrive folder like player data and save make sure you the OneDrive personal or whatever you have it is running otherwise it will not be synchronized and whenever we are adding some data it will be synchronized to the Google Sheets okay so let's go so we have saved the file and now we'll create a new spreadsheet here and we'll name it layer data okay now open extension and click get add-ons here you have to search for coupler dot IO and you will see this add-on click on that and install continue this add-on will create a bridge between the Excel file and this Google sheet all the permission it wants get done and close this now you see this coupler I O pop up here here we will create the Importer so add importer you can name something like Excel auto sync okay and select source so we are going to import the data from Microsoft Excel right so we have to select Microsoft Excel here continue Source account so this is important we have saved the file in our computer and OneDrive folder so if I go to my OneDrive folder here this is that file we are going to sync between Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel this file is open here so we have to connect that OneDrive account login with your OneDrive account here okay continue and file so we have saved the file inside this Excel to Google Sheets and this is the file player data select it and select the shade we only have one sheet here you see sheet1 okay continue so we have completed the source now we have to select the destinations connect and you have to connect the Google account add all the permissions here continue and select the file spreadsheet is player data sheet we only have one sheet here okay continue sell address range so it is going to update the data from A1 okay we're good and import module like if you want to append the data or replace the data like app and when you are adding new data to the Excel file it will add the data to this Google sheet like one after another it will not replace anything but we want to keep both the files synchronized right so we will select the replace so whatever you are doing here it will be updated to this Google Sheets okay so we'll see place okay and continue and this is the last settings we need to do automatic data refresh turn it on and make it 30 minutes 50 minutes so whatever time you want so let's make it 15 minutes and enable it for every day time preferences so if you want to keep it active for all day long just select zero zero zero zero to 23 or something and we are losing one hour here but it's okay you can select any time here select your time zone and save and run so it will save and run for the first time right save and run you see here it is running it will take one minute or something to create the synchronization you see it is here it didn't take one minute it's very fast and we have created 15 minutes schedule so every 15 minutes you will search for new data to this Excel file so and also we have the option to manually run this synchronization right if you click on this run it will search for new data or any update on the Microsoft Excel file so let's try a new row here anything like let's try it like man and um latest and I will I will add some test data here anything like six three one six four zero and test and any City like anything forward and let's save this we can close this if you don't want to add more data you can keep it close and let's go here if you don't want to manually run this you have to wait 15 minutes right because we have created the schedule in every 15 minutes but let's see by running it manually to see if it works or not you see the new data here the new row we have added here so it works fine and you can keep it close it will run the task in every 15 minute if you like the video please subscribe to the channel and share the video with your friends and if you have any queries please ask your queries uh to the comment section thank you for watching
