Auto cut off 12 volt battery charger circuit

guys today we will make 12 volt auto cut off battery charger circuit for that we need irfz double 4 and mosfet [Music] now bend gate pin like this and also bend drain pin now take four three one shunt regulator and solder pin three with mosfet gate pin take 15 kilo ohms resistor and solder on mosfet gate pin [Music] take red led and solder positive with resistor and negative with pin 2 of shunt regulator [Music] now take 330 ohms resistor and solder between pin 1 and 2 of shunt regulator take 2.2 kilo ohms resistor [Music] and solder on mosfet gate pin [Music] also take one kilo ohms resistor and solder on pin three of shunt regulator now take green led and solder negative with 2.2 kilo ohms resistor and positive with 1 kilo ohms resistor take 1.5 kilo ohms resistor and solder on green led positive and pin 1 of shunt regulator solder jumper from mosfet source to pin 2 of shunt regulator [Music] [Music] now take one and five four zero eight diode and sold the anode on green lad positive [Music] take two wires and solder input negative here [Music] and solder input positive here use these clip wires and solder output negative on mosfet drain pin [Music] hey [Music] solder output positive wire on diode's cathode [Music] here is the circuit diagram of this project download link is in description i will connect 14 volt variable power supply on input [Music] [Music] now i will connect 12 volt led on output to show you its cutoff function then we will test with battery [Music] i will also connect multimeter on output to monitor voltage [Music] oh i am now increasing voltage slowly [Music] you can see on crossing 13.4 volts it automatically cut off the current on output and green led turned on [Music] now let's test with 12 volt battery connect 12 volt battery on output [Music] then connect 14 volt dc at input [Music] and leave battery for charging now after about 2 hours you can see green led turned on indicating battery is fully charged and also current is cut off on output i recommend to make this circuit on zero pcb for more useful videos subscribe the channel also check out these recommended videos thanks for watching [Music] hey
