[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] Sonia there we go [Music] so we have made it too far we've gone 162 kilometers from waterboy and we just pulled through a town called castor 10 which is the home of the Kilby apparently we just seen a poolside company Wicca camps has found us free camp I'll just drive straight and freakin fast it was too busy the food anyway it's just here it's called s Lagoon there's a Jenny here a lagoon there's a bloody workout station picnic tables everywhere this Suns gonna go down over the water it's grassy funny we're not yeah get up first free camp in the new rig we're going up across the top Road and this place is called the castor 2's Lagoon look at this the boys are taking a slash here's a workout station it is also a sea questionable statue it look like [Music] [Music] berries are you kidding well my piece - oh so it's all right there's a free ferry across the river atmanam done it we're on the ferry who's excited for the very very a ferry [Music] now Gord is this little spot this is the hey thought camping reserved in madam so figured out that you got to catch a ferry across here but that's okay because it was free anyway you just drive on it's part of this sort of the normal public road service check out where we are you pull up down in here you got all this room under the gum trees you're right on the water it's ten bucks a night and then there's some toilets over there there's a little pay station there's even a dump point on your way out and beans grass fire pits down here hey this is brilliant so anyway check it out when you're going through it in a place called madam about 20 minutes north of Murray bridge but it's pretty nice little spot [Music] right this episode we're all about exploring the Flinders Ranges so I should well actually hang on sick all right now I'm suited up ready for today we're heading up we've just got onto the Flinders Ranges way we're going up to Willow Springs station we're going to camp there we're gonna do the sky trick for drive track I'm gonna give you a hot tip empty in the toilets always more job and yes it sucks but the big tip is never drive past a dump point without emptying the [ __ ] [Music] much as that job sucks really doesn't take that long and well we might not find another one for a few days and then I'll be tough to bust at the Porta Potty in the blood of you so you never go fast at that point big dirty Piraeus it's in the passenger seat not the one that got slides here bloody portaloo every honestly it's like she sits on the toilet backwards to be Alec or you bum holes on your back which one is it gracious there's nothing [Music] all right oh here we go this is it where will I spring station we're gonna do the sky trick full drive track come and check out this sign this is epic only how cool is that fair massive Eagle wing willow spring station this is epic okay so we're gonna go in and stay you know V we're gonna go and stay at the station I'll show you around there and then the sky Trek full drive track is from what I've read an 80 kilometer 4 B track it's self guided through their property Epis yeah and you're like cruise along the ridge lines and stuff so we're gonna go and do that tomorrow and it's been a couple of nights in here at the homestead it's going to see [Music] holy hell high they all might give us the hot tip when we drove into Willow Springs to get up here at sunset and check this out spin around alright can we've got about 15 minutes before that drops behind the mountains we've been mucking around here getting a few photos and it's just look epic hey the colors that change like every sort of few minutes it changes to something else kids are running around kicking footage throwing rocks it's just been bloody unreal we're pumped through the night check it out folks look out alright alright so I'm gonna do something now and I reckon just about every bloke in Australia does this but he's missus gets out to get the gate and she shuts it you keep dropping off on it you know what I mean when I see it kids love it kids basic self you ready kids you're gonna just fight til we go through thanks dear awesome ready horsies we should be able to sit in these phone which we don't inject just as she gets to the back of the car you just stop crawler if you can see the look on her face but she's not a serious thing she stops and then you go hey hey you think that's funny much I think it's pretty hilarious [Laughter] keeps me annoyed anyway if you don't do that team misses all right so skytrak track tomorrow we're not going to see pitchman for the next few days so we're gonna drop the tires who's one of these it's an IRB tie deflator what you do use this brass end here thread it onto your valve stem then you undo your valve from the inside the other one then you pop the collar to dump the air so I'll show you how it's done we drop down I go down to like 22 because we're pretty heavy and it gives us a smoother ride and then you pop this collar here yeah so you just keep popping that out and checking to et under whatever you want which for me is 22 [Music] so this is a little hot it's called old Moxon's heart it was built around the 1900s and apparently it had a full-time employee living in it until about the 1960s so imagine living in this little thingy out here this dead set in the middle of nowhere it's crazy but it has been rebuilt so apparently this thing I think the chimney and a bit of it got fairly damaged in a massive downpour and they let you go right here and I've got rebuilt twice and then resolves the nests and patrol Club which is the info in the book so pretty cool come and check this out stop let the kids out and have a run around fiery I don't know how you can go live in here is it if you need to go in a hurry there's a long drop every so I can't imagine it it'd be very nice and there but it'd still be some way to drop the kids off of the pool no doubt Rollo let's go only be at 12 Kay's into the trip and well it's called the sky trek for drive track but up until now and probably a little bit further I reckon you could just let the tires down on the old Commodore wagon and you get here now hurry so [Music] so if you're into old tractors and stuff like that this one here is the second ever greater powered grader used by the hawker Council and the Reynolds family who owned the property bought it way back when and another cool fact is that it was actually used to build the golf course in blenman so there you go hello why it's sitting out here in the middle of nowhere but it is I don't know a lot of people get off on all tractors and machinery and stuff so not me personally but some people do it's at number 34 this is a crossroads so we got we've come from this way it's an emergency exit out to the station that way where you going that way and I've got no freaking idea what goes that way anyway let's go so far it's been 43 kilometers of dirt road so I've put into for Drive once to go up a little Hill Climb so I'm hoping it gets better up this end [Music] lunch stop on the skytrak track this is called Nathan's knob it's number 40 on the list it's pretty cool hi I'm guessing we're standing on the knob and looking around but the view is pretty speck hey we've got snags on the cup here for the kids we run an induction cooktop because we've got an inverter in there which is pretty spooky and then check it out when you reckon feeding their face but this is probably their the nicest spot we've come across on the track so far it has yeah yeah just over halfway now so I only got a couple hours left and probably about thirty case but yeah this is good hey if it was all like this it'd be bloody magic little trick so anyway we'll have lunch here we'll kick on and we'll show you the rest of the track ready for a snag mate so we run an induction cooktop now off our battery system I'll drop a link in here so you can watch another video about the setup but pretty much comes down to that one 200 amp hour BTech battery about 2000 watt inverter runs it's all fused and protected through this gadget here and then we can plug her in and run an induction cooktop I'll tell ya ha it's so good not having gas not having flame every time like even now you get a few gusts of wind up here well you know when you've got a flame going and it's hard to heat the pan up and it's hard to cook on and then you don't cook inside you canopy because there's flames and stuff which gets dangerous this funny huh literally it heats up instantly as soon as you turn it on as long as you buy the right frypan hey baby yeah there's me second go at it I got the wrong one and then as soon as you take that off it's cool to touch this oh yeah so we only just turned it off but it's cool to touch and it's just like we knocked up snags and chicken and bacon in like 10 minutes because you don't have to wait for anything to heat up you just slap it away it lives in that drawer they're super handy eh so we did a pretty cool in this run in the Norwell canopy we've got this drawer so this is our kitchen table drawer combo this one slides all I had even further and it all puts together and slides in nicely so a lot of our stuff lives in here all the time on cutting stuff like that and we bought the coffee machine to have a coffee today but someone forgot the milk always playing the blame game - waistband I don't know how I'd do it someday [Music] prominent Hill here we go this is about ten carries before the end of the track and I reckon it's known pretty well because far out this hill is prominent look at this first kilo range and it's just going and going and going and now I have to give it a few berries to get up there we go it's our now won't look so steep in the camera but it's got a fair angle on a ray and we're it can't get out of first gear low and it's just a lot of loose dirt and it's a big Shaylee rock so my tires are probably hating it but we're cruising up though dramas I reckon when we get to the top of here you wait for this view I reckon it's going to be 360 degrees of Flinders goodness [Music] this is prominent he'll look at this it's probably the best part of this whole sky trick track steeping pond getting up and then you get up the top here and check this out hi what a view 360 degrees or flinders goodness yes hey makes that last four hours all worth it that's cool so now how's this right I say back you drive just drive down to this hill which is the one I'm walking on there I'll stop I'll get some pics and I'll catch up to you what's happening can you see that she's still driving hurry up hey I know she's gonna stop there or go all the way at the top she's - she's gonna go for me [Music] right now this episode is all about our nullabor crossing we're gonna kick off at halfway point which is Kimber halfway across Australia we're going to duck down to blue Beach kids loved it there we'll show you that camping on the beach you can't miss it it's typically a man what we are doing so JUnit to Norseman we're gonna hit all the awesome camp spots and show you the fun stuff it is my apes of free camping heaps of cool stuff along the way and a lot of straight road as well all right come on check out this cuz this is pretty damn cool look at that we are halfway across Australia that's unreal we're in a place called Kimba this will show you where we are we're yeah and today we're heading over here Tony be out 250 cars or somehow that go to a place called Blue Beach and then here's a bigger one this is where we are halfway across doesn't seem like it does it I suppose if you take it from here to here look at that far out kind of puts it in perspective how far we've got to go to get from here to here yes cause this stuff's all our we haven't seen too much of it but we're hey Reggie getting up there right now on such a scale that still looks awesome apparently there's like a whole solo our Charlie you can just follow along seeable we're not that keen on it but we come across it before quest free games PA alright let's go a couple hours we'll be parking up on the beach at Pulu be nice spring it all [Music] check this place out hey pal ubi Beach on a good day the Vans here look at our front window view this is insane wanna sleep come and have a look where we are I'll show you around the campsite Wow look at this that the door literally onto the beach kids are out the front here in the water mucking around there's a heap other families here you it's parked right oh yeah plenty of sunshine now if you go on the way into the campground there's a sitter toilet something that car park so you can use them if you don't have any onboard but we're all good you roll down here it gets a bit softer the further you go down the beach but if you can manage to just pull up close to these huts here it's pretty bloody nice so it's busy down there so we missed out on a heart but doesn't matter check it hey can't get over this night that tide comes in let me go for a bit of a flick out there hopefully get awarded maybe a squid later on but fans on the beach up there check out this water for a fish okay funnier weird out in front there plenty of sand so I was just coming in so there's a heap of like little ah sort of deeper gutters so as the tide comes in I'm gonna log back in and fish you see how we go back hopefully get some King George or a flat head or something Looby Beach mate it's gonna be up there and a top 10 I'll tell you who pretty damn good streaky bay is only 20 minutes away if that you're going there get groceries fuel water dump your toilet all that sort of stuff and make sure you check out the shell servo there's a like a monster great white shark that was caught here like 30 years ago or 40 years ago heading there back when you're getting - streaky by make sure you stop at the shell survive don't even check this yeah this is like I've made a great war it's a replica but some kid caught on like a rod and reel so massive can you imagine pulling one amazing I could see you catch him one of these Jack what do you reckon yeah 21 you're up yeah between 120 kilos oh yeah Wow hey Hanlon recorded an line catch [Music] so it's a junuh well it's not too much here it's a great spot to load up on the stuff you need because there's an IgA and a food books and that sort of stuff a couple of Caribbean parks as well if you need to tear everything up but the foreshore check this out backs over on the fourth floor actually pretty nice a lot of grassy areas playground plenty of places to park a caravan and stuff and chill out for a while there's a few caravan parks as well without big jetty so apparently it's good fishing really for us not much else here we're gonna cruise through rather than paying off probably only bucks to stay in a caravan park we're gonna go on free camp or low-cost camp dandy cactus so anyway that's the plan for us get out of here we're gonna show you what it's all been all right you gotta check this out firsthand you come into head and West is called Penang that's this crazy windmill - huh there's this this is the windmills at panel oh is that is that you window yes it was pretty good bike I know can we put that interview [Music] this is cactus peach check it out hey one of a surface loved it here this is just meant we we're gonna stay up here but that campground is bloody fool so pulled up in the car park come down for a look at the beach to see what I'm missing out on and have a look at it this is pretty spooky huh anyway if we could have stayed here it's 15 and I throwed out 5 bucks for kids 5 and 15 and now it's sort of just you camp up on the dunes and there's a few pockets and toilets and showers and stuff so pretty cool spot twenty-one caves off the highway near preneur you come down here on point Sinclair Road and anyway next time next flap will have to come there and try again I can't believe it's so busy here oh it's heaps of sites but I wish there's bring a mad wave on so there's plenty of surface shown up and what camp starts at full say [Music] so this is our first campsite on the nullabor we were going to pull up at cactus but anyway it was full we showed you that so we'll swing around here this one is just a free camp on wiki camp so it's called the old schoolyard I'll drop the poster or the picki in here so you know what it is pull up here get a spot at the bar be out the kids are having a quiche to know what as we cook that in there let me swing in here what's the missus got on yeah I've got a curry going tonight it's not really curry wear that because it's been about 32 degrees right but we're trying to use up all levels we hit the border into w.a so I've just thrown in some like potato carrot onions to cook up this curry better yeah it's good we'll have some leftovers that's a bonus [Music] so what happened what's the deal alright so I went into reception and chatted to the girl there she was lovely and super helpful plus she's making me some awesome coffee they do Toby's estate here which delish coffee so I grabbed a couple of those but she's giving me this little map here and I'm actually not sure I didn't ask about the fees there but we're just trying to suss out whether to go to Scotts beach or Mexican hut so you can't get to Mexican Hut from fellow space we're going to have to go back out to the highway and into Caribbean again that way all right [ __ ] we're taking the variant or honor all right well let's see I plan grab a coffee and you'll head back here to the highway and down to Mexican well the Vans locked fine okay I'll get the key alright so then what's the plan she basically said that at Scott's head you you can actually camp like right on the beach and you can drive on the beach there where is it Mexican you have to camp behind the dunes and you walk down to the beach there well let's go to Scotts it's easy [Music] no wait before you mate I have a look I don't know much but when we're trying to tow the van up well you soft sand so I'm just dropping toys anyway we'll get there I'm missing air on that spot there's only this one little love in between us and that campsite but we tried it rode freshest drop leaves down 18 drop the van as well and we'll just cruise up that I reckon so [Music] have a look at this you serious fight Wow give me that back get everything what do you reckon of that Hey oh what a week it came so I got speech it fouls by like who said the Malibu was boring right 12 bucks I know what we had to do is let their toys down and get out that little section but look at this mine this is dad said brilliant well you reckon boys [Music] I'm still the undisputed champion of the beach running races Oh monkey no a slowpoke ah so I am a big one for making sure you always leave your campsite better than when you rock up so straightaway when we got here today check this out look we've got the most picturesque campsite in the world like it's brilliant for 12 bucks a night yet soon as I have a bit of look around there is bottles cans wipes bit of paper and crap like it's gonna go around and pick it up and then hopefully well hopefully the next people are steak and take that example and go well it's pretty clean we'll leave it that way as well so anyway I'll go round over a bucket I'm gonna pick it all up I'll show you how much I'll get it Sam it's pretty sad actually but anyway we'll do our bit to try and help out [Music] here we go look at that in three minutes and 59 seconds I've managed to pick up two pairs of undies what the hell three cans orange and two four six eight ten twelve twelve pack pants super dry so I get it right but I mean the only explanation I can think of is that two blokes had a six pack each of hands super dry got really pissed and [ __ ] themselves and had to leave their undies here as well as their stubby so thank you hi Mario anyway I'm gonna pick it all up and what will you do I'll give you a hot tip it's one of our favorite bits of gear we carry on our travels and it's so easy it's just a track pack or a dirty gear bag this one's an IRB one there's plenty of them on the market but as you can see we just chuck all that rubbish in there if you have dirty wet sandy clothes or whatever there's side pockets you could put them in there another one over here well on the inside there's a divider and you can split it up so you could have your cans and bottles and then you do normal rubbish on the other side so we just load that up to the hill and then whenever we hit a bin at a servo or a shopping center whatever we actually pulled our rubbish in the bin it's really not that hard I say buddy frustrating might tell you all that's probably the first time I've ever picked up another box on these especially with a skid mark all that in him what am i doing Oh mornings start like this fungineer check this out I'm going to take you out and show this this is sunrise over Scott's Beach fellas buy in the Nullarbor look at that for a view out the window I get my coffee and walk up the unseen dunes behind us that sound come up oh yeah Oh daddy yes done don't know if you can see the color of the sky before me then check out with veins hey look hello everyone what the PSI and stuff is and I actually don't really know much about it I'll walk you through it a little bit start the any this is that you flick the switch on here this is our onboard air compressor is that how you say hello there you go so we run our tire pressures in the front of 40 or 42 yeah right and the rear is a net size so 42 in the rear 40 in the front and 42 in the van or ramp to van or ransom there you have it there's no psi oh my gosh i am i got this cord that runs from the air compressor all the way to these tires is an orange one and a black one and is - yeah so we used one as an extension so when we run on the pump and the van tires up click and run - if we're only doing the car and we can just use the black on it reaches all around there you go think of that phone under here I'll finish it off underneath we've got as a air tank underneath it's always got 200 psi of air in it so when we do come off the beach and we just have to air up the car it's a lot quicker so anyway so the Quran babe we'll finish this last time we'll be on our way [Music] now the ball right here sigh pretty cool but I think you would have got a screws back in the day Pioneer kids I wouldn't bet how to keep a car it is out here if you look out this window that's the caravan park so if you want to play outside you can pull into that glass bowl huh I think it's about thirty bucks a night the parking there but it can't be pretty cool because the nullable Roadhouse is got its own bar so the tapping area it has happy hour those meals and stuff as well so it's a it's a pretty cool experience and then I'll just feed up all my at the servo I found it where the caves are we getting out back on the whole I go through in a meter stand it's a ghost in the back there get out walk around them so we're going to show you their carry on walk around here and then the kids remembered coming in here get the photo in front of this song that's pretty cool spot stop stretch the legs check out the old road what have you got that's a maxi bone which is your lucky what did you get [Music] maybe load up on like powder puffs or something put them in the freezer before you inaudible I just bought that one there it's probably 15 on its side pasta free [Music] [Music] all right so this is the Mara windy cave about ten cows off the highway from the Malibu Road house pretty bumpy road so make sure you vans up to it or probably a better idea just to leave it there and take the car in but pretty nice spot it's pretty hard to calm down in do nice and cool under here pretty spooky but like a big cave like this just a out the middle of nowhere only there's a couple more like this two caves two and three further up but geez I made that look easy didn't I this is the best one to look at and he can free can't be it to if you want it so there you go let's go so it's supposed to be a couple of tags along an olive or you know it's the first on this yeah won't check out a few more if they're not too far off the tracks [Music] so one of the cool things you can do across the Nullarbor is play the Nullarbor golf-links we're not gonna fly them all because it's gonna be too hectic with the kids and I don't have clubs cost you five bucks to hire room we're at the border village Roadhouse they are so five bucks it cost me six bucks to buy a bloody golf ball so anyway it's funny it's a par three call the border kangaroo he's pretty rough and tumble course but I'm gonna tell you off on the mat here and ah there we go we'll go for a wander and have a hit but be good fun if you're with a crew of boys you could play the hole golf links across have a few beers at each road else and whatnot and it'd be a good time so you might check out the Golf Links on the way across break up a bit of the draw right let's have a hit okay kind of like it let's check out your swing go Gumby on on all right well the one issue we brought out if I hit it into the force that's it we're gauge you put in Reverse what about your credit i've already passing this good their seat belts off we're on young driving and the nullable straight Oh 90 miles straight Justin's actually allowed me to drive I secretly think he likes driving so he just have to terrorists keeps all the time Trey Turner a bit happy there when I media at best music DJ and navigated ever so we do him out kind of rolls in the car and they work well but I'll say you know I'm not driving so it's a straight road what could happen famous last words I'm actually kind of not really locking it to be honest because this I hate the beach oh yeah but road trains they come yet maybe big throw trains on the road and they sort of blow you off to the left a little bit so to be honest I'm not gonna last the whole 90 mile stretch up we might have it three miles an hour walk straight which I make it to ten that's your driving experience here at 150 guys from Norseman is that it really starts to get a big moment to yell mom I'm doing the others being loves to do and say it must have stopped but I'm alright all I want to do you feel indeed we know what's at the end of the plot and you know Elijah soon coast lot and it's still 300 Norman survivors we pretty low on food at the moment so we've got the bare essentials the old friend that's something Bob with customers and free so fresh vegetables and a steak to be honest stay indoors from the knife which is I hundred twenty by well we buckle down a punch at 318 to get the esperance so kids are happy they're doing well and then take a decision get the Norseman have a little beer and then see what we decided to do we're gonna crack on and off do you I got a couple more hours look at this I not much so I'm gonna show you this place we're not going to go in there because it's only 11:30 in the morning so we can still punch out a few more outs but this joint here Fraser a sheep station and a caravan park we stayed there probably two years ago when we come across and it's a Fenny kilometre down the dirt road in there it's got some cool sights laid out and we can kitchen and he can cook something like a puppet meal every night little player in there for the kids walking track little range in the background it's a really cool spot to stop if you time it right it can be a really good place to finish sort of your last stop on the Nala bore and then the next day he can punch through two aspirins Bharani we've made it across the Nullarbor please my thoughts yeah so you can pick these us tickets up at the Ballad owning your own house I think it was about three dollars fifty it's about we get one every time can you believe this is a third time we've cross vanilla ball so we just keep it on our fridge and the kids love to look at it and see the peaches and where they've been except rub it a little bit mint I have to get across do we get across on a bicycle did we walk across drive across you drive across it up yep the old backwards Joe hey you're his teacher team this is pretty crazy but three years three months in the road we've now across the Nullarbor three bloody times and Charlie's old it's a good trip I did say I wouldn't wanna turn around and get back down on my straight alright cuz it is uh it's a fair mission [Music] righto welcome back to another episode this time we are in esperance and it's all about exploring the south coast beaches in southwest WI so going down to a place called mangy mutt beach and it's a campground down there most the tourists and most of the people that come through in caravans go to esperance do the beaches go to lucky bay Cape the Grand National Park this one here it's on the same Road fisheries rode out of town keep driving it's only been an hour and then you hang a right and you're into Cape arid National Park there's a heap of cool campground it's down here we're heading down now at a bunch of upbeat bit of an off-road trail down here we found the camps on wiki camps it says off-road only a bit of a tough track to get in so I'm Erin down but we're gonna show you a few of the cool spots right here and a few of the cool features that most people don't come to [Music] check it out this is the campground down it's member nup not munge them up I'll get it wrong but look at this we've packed in here it's only ten cases like dirt road there's a few seen holes and a couple of boggy things but nothing difficult tastes like you'd easily get a tool drive friend in here and then look at this way I saw it and then hey we've got our own little Hut this is mad we're gonna do seriously as you walk down the track about 30 meters and we're straight on the beach so I know mate it's cool so I'm gonna go for a walk up there and see what else is around and then now we might unhook go for a bit of a beach driving more just chill out for the olive out have a came forward I just enjoy it I something about being beachside that just makes you happy [Music] well well well what and Beach you are killing me what a piece of paradise it has the most amazing crystal-clear blue water the whitest sand there's gorgeous June's as a backdrop the kids have been absolutely running amok here buildings to castles god knows how long oh man this is just [Music] what's for lunch yes it's pretty nice yeah [Music] [Applause] [Music] yeah he was funny so he finally just pulled up and like the bag check this little area oh legend this is cool normally you say at the end of a James back little ones just rocked up as soon as we pulled our barking he's saying the kids a nice cover hey what a cutie sorry one of the awesome things got lucky by I'm going to show you here on this one look at this Mike you can draw it straight down from the campground straight on to the boots access a little say Wow check out the color of that water it's just spectacular those hills or rocky hills whatever in the background it is just beautiful and bloody tastic and there's even a coffee and 11 bucks per out out per night and $3 per child per night I didn't know that Wow our creature is 22 plus 25 the thirty-nine bucks is 28 38 bucks a knife to go stay neat Benny wait we're planning to come in here it's too far to go any further zero campsite and Stokes okay it's really well set out and beans here and this a couple can't post but it's um it's a really well maintained this clucking a big circle and then you back into these sites and look at that I'll get up on the roof but we've got water views yet the back here yes so I'm guessing just that I guess that that Stokes Inlet but I'm gonna unhook and you can go down there's a beach access Paul the drive there's a little boat ramp there's fishing areas can't kitchens with viewing platforms like okay so on for 22 bucks and alright like you can't ask for more than that exactly I'll jump on the roof you know say if you ever talk so their time tonight and we're just made a big decision we have we're having sausages in Bradford you know we're actually gonna go tomorrow were at school today we're starting late tomorrow we're gonna keep going towards Albany and around the bottom but we're sort of tossing it up all day over the last week really I mean too late night so the weather is really cold and it's pretty windy and from Ravens talk which is where we need we can cut like directly just to Perth and save ourselves like fall in a cage but we also get to see wave rock [Music] all right now we have come from my croc to hardens next best tourist attraction now I'll hold you in a bit of suspense here they the pinnacles are we they're pretty cool side actually we've been once before but we just really wanted to come back because the kids were what was two years ago and the kids were a lot smaller so I reckon they're gonna really enjoy it this time because yeah so we'll get a good look at them it's not faster highway about three case but anyway I couldn't require remember but it's only 13 bucks to get in for your car but you can't take your Caravan right so what you have to do is unhook in the car park and drive through the loop without it so but you can do it will show you that you can just unhitch the van and go for a cruise through but they're pretty cool it out take some cool photos and stuff and it's pretty tight trails so really understand thank you very much no it's a really tight trail okay - wanna make a bet yep 20 bucks 20 bucks we're on the four kilometer pinnacles drive it's a dirt track you're not allowed to take your caravans but I'm Beck is dead-set reckons you'll never think about four kind of campgrounds here there's North cliff head south clip and a couple in between hello let's go check it out alright so we knew landed another bloody good supporter me and how much does this one cost free absolutely free no it cost and look what you've got seriously oh thank you for looking at so I mean mine absolutely free only a couple of cars off the highway easy access you don't need a 4 B you don't need an off-road ban and we can park look at that and the tide comes in we will be ten meters from the water this is unreal look at this bit of weed on there at the moment so yeah that can be a bit yucky but okay I can't be on the water [Music] we are at Oak Cabella farm stay and it is absolutely insane made like the campgrounds we get the vibe is cool this what's here about that facility so much history here this toilets and showers they've got a restaurant you can have teens Gonz here they run regular events campground is massive that it's only nine bucks and I feel like it's so cheap and there's just everything here so we're about with twenty something guys do off the Geraldton didn't take long beginning here plenty of places to fill up water drop it down point off in zero fill up on groceries and then come up here on your way to kill Barry and stay here my acapella like this is insane it's all these old buildings like I'm not sure there's a lot of stories going around about and be important but we won't find that out because sunset that's me I'm out of here I don't want to find that out but it is brilliant we might tell you more about it later with we're not I favorite the history in there running yeah but it's honestly if you're coming through it's a great place to stop so come and check it out this was just like sitting beneath just pulled up at the lucky bay campground I'll give you a look at here we've got a pretty sweet sight it's just a Big Sandy area and you can just choose from a site wherever you want to go we've lucked out got a couple of fire pits got a seating area honey room for events we caught up with another firm a couple of families a tow Cabella who have come along as well so pretty sweet spot a 15 bucks a night you can get timber for 18 bucks from the caretaker he just roll in here and pick a site pretty damn cool and then only just up here you drop down the track about not alone not even a K and you're straight onto the beach so we'll go down and show you that Hey just wanna give you a look at this this is where we've been pulled up all afternoon so only had a two minute drive from where we're staying up the lucky B okay lucky bay campground you can come down here you can camp to any or two you'll see like tents and stuff and camper trailers here like if you haven't got such a big rig you can pull down the sand but bar yeah it's like this bit of rocky reef that like starts at one into the beach and pretty much runs the whole way along so there's all these protected little gutters and the goons and stuff just epic mode a be casted out there near got a few mullet with the kids just sat down here sun's about to go down take the kids home another feed just been been gonna be kept by daylight we've been here with a couple other families and the scenes really soft so you don't go anywhere on this sort of inclined coming up the beach because we had to pull a few out for all the way up here but good finite kids having a blast traveling families hanging out together just good times actor this is London just give me the re-up to get home just like the kids are angry you gotta something outside of it we came here last night from nature's window we're good here pretty late so we couldn't really see where it'll go on but heaps around here and there was tons of people here too but down here who come for a quick look it's absolutely pumped at the moment so there's so much water in there we stayed here a couple of years ago and it was bone-dry but look at this there's been water all the way up into here as kangaroos in here last night the highway is just there but it it's pretty quite of a night so I'm no dramas with road noise and that sort of thing but awesome camps alright I'll put the drone up they'll give you a look around of how big it is this is so many spaces down here and there's even there all those bins everywhere we thought I could a good idea they've got those big yellow metal grids on them to stop the crows and stuff get into the rubbish perfect idea stop messing up the camp bands and there's plenty of them so you don't need to leave your garbage rampant but anyway there's fire pits 30 years there's also picnic tables that straight at the end of the water it's pretty awesome eh such a good spot like fans over here we have not stayed in a caravan park since we left Warner ball which is like nearly two months ago so it's friggin awesome a bike again do your research and he can pretty much freak anywhere in the country if you want it today we're going into monkey Moya sometimes the cavern parks we've got the primary the state you know and that's where you want to go look we want to go and chill out monkey more a few days are awesome weather watch the pelicans and the the dolphins and me and Becca might even go the resort to do so anyway if you want you can free get me in the country but stashed away a few extra funds just say can splurge on some of those prime real estate Caribbean parks around the country to just make your trip that a little bit better and you can see everything you want to see so hello oh gosh a Shell Beach on the way in awesome spot and with monkey Moya yes [Music] shucks baby babe I know turn off heart it's awesome so off the main highway don't skip it some other people drive straight fast because I think it's too expensive and commercialized it's one of the best parts of Oz and you've just driven halfway around the country to get here take your time spend a few extra bucks and go 130 cozy to check it out won't regret it yeah but people think it's just all about monkey Maya but there's actually so much to do around there you got Shell Beach there's this little Lagoon or and Tamala stations take point is so much francois peron there's a whole other national park here they gotta get out there we're at the turnoff now have a look at this Shark Bay bring it hey so many cool spots now what we're gonna do we're in here near right the Overlander wrote us last chance to get fuel before you get into denim which is up here or we're gonna go all out to monkey my eye today and do this top sort of pinch each other first and then we're going to come back down here we'll load up all our supplies and stuff in denim we'll come back down here and then we'll hook through here stayed at timeless station last time we'll give you a look at that then we go on all the way up to here steep point and we're taking the ferry across to Dirk Hartog oil so that's going to be sick always wanted to do it can't wait to go we're gonna get over there and check it out some wicked camping it's a homestead over there and a young family who run that Island so chuck bait we're stoked I can't wait to get in here seriously and how's the weather sunshine about 34 degrees this is meat let's go hey this will be us it's a wee man back [Music] this is walking in to Shell Beach come here back sent me these flyers these are just as bad as Natchez window anyway so short wall is the car park spin around it's like only like 100 200 meters it's nothing it cause it's like walking across a bit of a shell desert to get to the water I'm just trying to convince this sad-sack to get more water that okay change your mind yeah look at that I'm gone for a swim oh we're pretty bloody lucky look at this yay Shell Beach car park making lunch stink up to stinker but we got the Yukon on no I'll show you a bit more about it runs off the inner drive system I've done it in other vids but we get lots of questions about it so here we go I've got a big inverter that sits under the seat that runs off of three hundred amp lithium battery and then this is what tells us down on here so at the moment at 100% battery power and it's pulling 40 amps out of the battery to run that aircon system plus I've got two fans going to circulate the air now what that means is that we've also got all the solar on the roof puppet in offsetting that so usually it pulls about 50 to 60 amps layouts only for 40 because we're pumping in a heap of solar as well so sit here make lunch crank the aircon chilly out make brilliant if you haven't got lithium in your van when you do a big lap you're gonna want to because it makes ones like this so happy I'll tell ya she's happy I'm happy we are just arriving in denim oh my god 90 so close it'll stop in here they've got a couple of ideas you can grab a coffee this cafes restaurant the waterfront and for short area is fabulous and the god yeah a two or three parameter parks here and is a really good Ward's not amazing but it's a good little playground on the foreshore to get easily spend a couple of days in Dedham good spot to if you don't want to pay for monkey Moya like the entry fee in the car in park you can base yourself here it's only half hour into driving update [Music] dolphins this morning Mike oh yeah my heading to the dolphin feeding so I staying at monkey my so it's just a short walk like 20 meters or something to the dolphin feeling so the first feeding is at 7:45 previous times we've been here before they've had like the second and a third feeding but apparently that's not the case at the moment just because the dolphins aren't coming in so be interesting to see down there how many people in there because last time I think there's only about 50 people but I've heard there's a lot more today those about 300 yeah so we definitely won't be feeding dolphins but got some footage from last night yeah well sir we get today but a good thing to note is you don't have to stay here to come and do it hmm a lot of people just stay in denim it's only like 13 kilometers away in day-tripping pay entry fee at the station and come and see the dolphins and check out the resort and stuff so you don't need to stay here you can swim in the pool here I'm pretty sure if you just I don't see how they'd stop it yeah just Park and walk so like pay your money come in music pool is the facility at happier 3:30 to 4:30 yeah both I need to pop it in the answer is you're not happy out and I know one box for beers that really unhappy six dollars for a while well that's pretty happy that's not that anyway that's what monkey mia monkey mia is renowned for is the dolphin feeding and the experience so and for us it's a brilliant spotlight but this place has gotten or at least three times bigger than it has since the start two years ago yeah this heaps of room there's heaps facilities and it kind of feels like you're on a little resort holiday in amongst your big black Caravan introduced a really nice spot so check it out tomorrow steep point ski up we've got a steep point we're at the useless loop turnoff right now we're packed we've left the van at Hanlon station so this is where we live in the van before we go to do a car talk I want to show you that rough plan what we're doing so at the entry point here there's a couple of signs that tell you where you're going for us at the moment we're over here right at this useless loop road access somewhere in here we're going in here all the way up to steep point up here um and we're camping around here which is the ranger station you'll pick sup tomorrow come across here and then we're gonna Fang it all the way we're gonna start at the top of the island which is Turtle Bay I only allow one camper at a time in there and we couldn't get in apart from tomorrow night but it's meant weather and I think it's a good way to start we'll kick off up there explore the top end of the island come back and put with the point come down and explore this and then spend the night at the homestead camping and then we'll keep at anchor internet before the barge out on the way home so right pretty keen a it's gonna be a mad trip oh I get rid of these flyers we should have invested in some florists really but good fun good times good for being good adventure any secret bye wait station Justin a wacky in some footage now but where state the huts before I've heard tea trees amazing definitely weapon on your list because is spectacular Tama station and hot tip it's only 35 cash get a better beachfront site is epic I'm sort of spilling over tempted to leave it at an alert it's ten bucks a week to leave your van in there you can go and a trip out or camp out at Steve point and then ya go into ten go in there grab the key go out go to a few different sites that Tamra has to offer I can even pick up three buddy for I wouldn't it look at that all right false entrance that way another good fishing spot met a bloke before him and his mates go there on that trip catch huge Spanish mackerel off the cliffs forty-three case too steep point I'd love to do a boy's trip out here at some stage and just spend a couple of weeks at here but I've got about five nights at the most because the squeeze doesn't I've been away from the caravan so to make the most of it we're going to put a line in the water like I want to tip you guys that's the tip he reckons the fishings that hot all you have to do is put a line in the water I don't believe it I'll have em caught nothing in ages but anyway that's it go Steve point then we'll come back and camp up at the barge landing sites give you a looker s next point is the westernmost point on the Aussie mainly stake it out this is where we are going to stay tonight look we just step out into the ocean I can't believe it come from look around we're just gonna drop the swags off here set him up and then we're gonna head out the state point for a look what color is that I don't think I've ever seen that before oh man it's all hesitant like perfect is the water too I look I'm gonna bite can't believe you bloody trophy and dine they doing forward on smile yeah right here on the beach the badge pulls in like just here somewhere so we'll just have to get up in the morning and drive straight on man this is just insane it's people camped all the way up and down here easy drive super calm this is just epic hey ha ha what a sick game start like I can't wait to get over here and I'm that's the car talk over there it's gonna be me changed a fair bit from one side of the point to the other and we're pretty close now this is epic mate the scenery round here is just in body sign what are you doing charge you cranky Thank You pants oh I'm gonna show you a cool spot here which is right near steep point so I've got the close-up it's called the oven and you can camp out here on the cliffs here but come around here and check this out it's a heap of boys down here all set up and what they do is they use big balloons and floats float baits out off there to catch big Spanish back on stuff so pretty cool spot on the beach get where we are back at the landing that's a lot better for families and stuff but on a boy's trip if you're after some big fish man this place is epic flopping at the edge of the world mate or the edge of Australia response the oven expands yeah [Music] yes hahaha made it out the steep point a friggin epic is this place it is crazy mate we thought the road was going to be a lot tougher than what it was but it wasn't a just a few bumps through corrugations so I think the best thing to do right now is to grab a frothy and uh crack one that's steep point because it's to take another bucket list item off the list ID I'm a frothy steep point pretty reckon boys would open it what's that [Music]
