the most delectable vegan Delights here are some of my favorite places in Austin Austin really does have something for everyone whether it's breakfast tacos queso or even Donuts of course this is by no means a complete list so be sure to let me know what I left off that you love in the comments and let's jump into it starting with barbecue first up we have Franklin Barbecue a visit to Austin is incomplete without trying a legendary barbecue at Franklin known for its mouth-watering tenderness and rich flavors Franklin Barbecue has exceptional quality and a dedication to the craft that makes it a must visit destination for barbecue enthusiasts I went on a Sunday and I got there by 8 AM three and a half hours before they open and I was number 18 in line by the time they opened there was 125 people in line this is definitely a half day experience in Austin in a true culinary Adventure but once you try the barbecue I doubt you'll be upset about the time you wait next up we have Interstellar barbecue if you don't want to wait in the crazy line at Franklin this is a great spot for you their creative menu combines traditional barbecue techniques with global culinary influences offering a refreshing Twist on the classic barbecue favorites the peach glaze on the pork belly was especially mouth-watering and the sides here are top notch as well we got there about 20 minutes before they opened and it wasn't too long of a wait for us next up we have La Barbecue La Barbecue is another must visit spot for barbecue enthusiasts and a local favorite there's slow Smoked Meats coupled with their award-winning homemade sauces make for a finger licking experience I was especially fond of the sausage here but all the meat was really good like the rest of the barbecue spots on this list I recommend getting there 15 to 20 minutes before they open in order to not have a long wait continuing with the barbecue head over to Leroy and Lewis this Innovative barbecue joint offers a modern take on classic Texas barbecue with rotating offerings and brisket only served on the weekends Leroy and Lewis serves up unique flavorful dishes that showcase local ingredients and creative culinary techniques it's crazy to see a spot that's this good and that's adding to the Texas barbecue lore that's located in a food truck the beef cheeks here are one of the best things I've ever eaten in Austin and something you have to try if you go for my last barbecue spawn list that I went to we have distant relatives housed in a food truck like Leroy and Lewis the barbecue here is an in-between of the classics and new school they have mouth-watering brisket but they serve it with a mustard butter sauce that you can dip it in they also make a chicken here that's worth waiting for by itself plus it's in the parking lot for a brewery so you can grab a drink while you're waiting honestly the barbecue in Austin is worth a trip alone but if you're looking for some non-barbecue recommendations let's continue this list with tacos first up we have Torchy's Tacos Torchy's is an institution in Austin and has become a staple for a reason with its creative and delicious Taco
