Attempting My Old SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY Challenges!!! // Is It STILL Possible?

hello my friends and welcome back to another video today we're looking at not mario maker 2 but super mario odyssey i haven't done the is it possible challenges in well over a year probably close to two years and so the twitch community raised channel points to have this as a stream incentive and so we're doing it and we'll probably be converted into a youtube video i know a lot of you guys came to my channel came to know me through my mario odyssey stuff so i'm very excited to jump back into mario odyssey and play it and have a good time so let's go ahead and fire up today's video [Music] alright so the first challenge that was voted on by the twitch chat to do so we gotta do the thousand jump rope challenge oh heck here we go oh heck oh guys why why the question we asked ourselves is it possible to jump rope a thousand times oh man oh no no no the content you guys all are here for a man jumping rope what wait is that new i don't what okay that's new this never happened this is new this is new what a butt these ladies are butts this is not how real jump roping works yeah she deserves this she deserves the booty bounce all right you know what i'm not going to waste any more time you know let's put the graphic we have found that it's not possible [Music] okay so the next um challenge we're going to go after is getting inside the inverted pyramid from the top down this one should prove to be decently easy but i remember trying this when this game first came out and not knowing the intricate controls and the unique things mario can do in this game and it was decently hard but hopefully it's not too hard anymore this one's kind of kind of personal for me as i said this was the first true is it possible challenge that it did so our goal here is to get from the top of the inverted pyramid into the i'll show you guys into that little hole right there oh no i forgot if you fail [Laughter] if you fail you go into the hole of non-glory no glory to be found in this hole do i want to do a cappy oh yeah that should be fine we have proven that it is possible [Music] it's funny when this game first came out this stuff was hard because you know a lot of people hadn't mastered the controls yet because it had just come out but back in the day man back in the day this was tough stuff we're going straight to a challenge i never completed friends so our goal is to get from here all the way down to there that's our goal we're going to try it come on baby come on baby come on baby into the purple drink oh that feels good that feels good that feels good oh that might have been that actually might have been good okay that's good that's good that's good that's good no it's carrying me away [Laughter] this is our first attempt chat first attempt ddr guarantee that's it that's it that's it that's it that's it with room to spare baby i told you dgr guarantee never fails we have proven that it is possible [Music] the next challenge on our list to see if we can complete is the late kingdom skip now i've seen crazy people do this without using like the platforms they can literally do the skip from the ground obviously that's way out of my skill range but we're gonna see if we can do the old-timey late kingdom skip i'm predicting at least 10 failures on this one at least 10 failures on this one oh gosh oh gosh yeah there's one all right here we go obviously my timing is not great okay this one is a lot harder than i remember all right how many fails is that how many fails is that that's good oh baby okay that was close that's good [Music] oh that one was flawless that was that was perfect that would have been 100 would have been the one but nope instead we get bunk let's go baby i think that was before 10 fails too we have proven that it is possible baby [Music] the next one i want to do is the the other impossible jump on it's the dark side yeah this one should be pretty easy i think we'll get this one tell you what if we don't if we don't hit this first try i'll gift five gift subs five gift subs if we don't hit this first try i think i do it from on top of the odyssey if i'm remembering right okay oh that doesn't count that doesn't count that's not a fail it's not a fail unless we die and fall into the abyss doesn't count [Music] there we go oh no we're drifting [Laughter] no more live deals get out of here yellow toad there we go bro i might not even have to jump i might not even have to jump okay so we had to jump but wow we have proven that it is possible [Music] the next challenge we're going to take on is a really difficult one we are going to try and beat the t-rex race so normally you would go in here i'll show you what's going on so you see this inconspicuous scooter and you race a t-rex we are gonna do this race there's a hair in my mouth we're going to do this race without the scooter getting the rest of the day off also guys tonight oh hold on let's try this again stay over here mr t-rex mr amelia earnhardt rex can't hurt us over here hi honey did you get your surprise what did you get guys look look what carmen got car so we have a chore chart for carmen if she does her chores for a month straight we give her a little toy back over here is there another one i can't remember oh we had to have been so close man okay back over here no you can't take damage if you take damage it runs all over taking damage it's all over oh no i'm so dead okay nope we're good no oh i remember this one being super difficult okay this one stop dang it we're in there we're in there there's the i had four t-rex dude that poor t-rex let's go in the arms of the angel we have proven that it is possible so we are trying the dude perfect challenge if you guys don't remember what the dude perfect challenge is essentially we're dude perfect and we have to kick this football into the giant manhole cover well we're not in the cover into the giant manhole okay keep your eye on the football keep your eye on the wow look at that bounce get in get in get in it's coming back it's you sir you sir i blame you i blame you i blame you that looks good whoa whoa whoa whoa that looked like it looked like a pinball game dude i don't know what that hit dude perfect come on that's good that's looking real good that's looking real good no hold on i gotta check the whim come on baby come on come on come on i had deja vu don't mess up we put a little english on we put a little english on it i can't believe that worked i can't believe i cannot believe that [Music] so the next challenge we're trying is the pipe dream challenge and as you can tell from the emotes in the chat that that face comes from me trying this challenge many many years ago so basically we have to get from here all the way to the top of this structure over here and it's pretty ridiculous and i don't know that we're gonna be able to do it okay close close close close oh that would have been high enough anyways [Music] this jump is so deceivingly difficult man oh my gosh son of a nutcracker all right we got it all right let's see here so i wasn't going at nearly the angle that i was [Music] oh my gosh i actually caught my shots oh that all right that one okay come on give me just two more put a whole nanner in there if you wanted to for the content i can't believe i can't believe it let's go we have proven that it is possible the next challenge we're gonna take on is the impossible impossible jump three so we are at the island in the sky the cascade kingdom painting area and our goal is to get down to that area all the way down where that green pile of noxious gas is waiting for us it's not enough it wasn't enough of an angle it wasn't enough of an one dude this one's it this is it bro and i'm free free falling we can go over it we went over it baby look at that we have proven that it is still possible [Music] so you guys voted on the moon is lava this will probably be the last challenge of the day for those that are wondering what the moon is lava challenge is essentially i'll show it off without doing it we need to get from up on top of that platform all the way down here and bounce from bunny to bunny and get all the way [Music] up to here up to this uh pylon without touching the ground [Music] we might actually land on the might make it to the bunnies okay that wasn't bad for our first try that was not bad decent angle [Music] up we're out here [Music] why [Music] yep oh that one hurts oh oh oh one more i don't think i touched [Music] okay don't you do that
