"Attacked by a Demon" on Your World with Creflo

[Music] [Applause] thank you [Applause] the enemy is everywhere the devil looks for every opportunity to cause trouble in your life to disrupt your job or cause pain in your body or disrupt your family anything to steer you away from the blessings God has for you but how do you know if you've really been targeted by demonic influence or if you're just having a bad day you're about to meet a young woman who is convinced she is not just having a bad day she's absolutely certain there is a supernatural demonic presence determined to destroy her I remember this day I went over to a friend's house and all of a sudden the same noise you know that I grew up hearing I heard that same noise again so I recognized what it was and I looked over at my friend and she looked at me and she passed out it seemed like the demon started following me again are her struggles from her past and her hopelessness for the future truly motivated by a demon we'll find out next Gretl dollar and this is your work [Music] changing [Music] Time Lord we go for you through the trials Oh [Music] [Applause] just gonna his grace [Music] thank you my guest today experienced the violence death and horror of the second Liberian Civil War as a young child and even though she and her family had moved to America her life has been plagued with problems becoming homeless jobless and traumatized by death she is sure that her struggles are the result of a demonic presence that is determined to keep her depressed helpless and scared please help me welcome Emily to your world today first of all thank you so much for being a part of what we're gonna do here today you and I are gonna come together we are going to create a package that's gonna help a lot of people bring us into your world what was it like to be in the middle of the second civil war in Liberia I remember when the war started I was pretty naive I was clueless I was about the age of 10 year old I remember coming home from school and my auntie told me Emily we had to pack we're migrating so it was local school because it was a safe place to stay at that time so she told us that we couldn't pack everything we can only pack whatever we can carry by foot and there were other families that were family yes now go in there for safety the school was actually close to the u.s. embassy so we were told it was like a safe place to be so I began packing I thought packing I saw a lot of people just walking had no clue where they were going they have like their loaves on the head it was very chaotic I saw like about hundreds of people just you know walk in and walk in and I remember hearing on the news that um the wall was getting pretty close to where we live and at that time we could hear like gunshots we knew that things were pretty close so I grabbed my bag - I actually pulled the bag on top my head and I carry the little pieces of sponge which was my mattress at that time it's a sleep pod on our journey to the school I remember a lot of people was running because you know the gunshot seems to be fairly close everybody was in such a haste so being naive being young I just followed the crowd I started running and in the midst of running I had lost a pair of my shoe so I didn't know how bad the situation was at that time so I decided to run back to get my shoes and run to the way that the rebels wear luckily for me my cousin saw me running back and he grabbed my hand he was like what are you doing I gotta go get my shoes I just dropped I just lost one foot of my shoes and he was like no we gotta keep running you're gonna die if you go that way and he grabs my hand as we were going I remember seeing hearing people screaming yelling I was confused he told me don't look back just keep going and you know I could hear people stumbling over because everyone was in a haste you know people actually died because people ran over them you know people stomped all over them so was a 10 year old girl I can't even begin to fathom the fear mm-hmm or the degree of fear that you were experiencing at this time trying to figure out what's going on right now family members what family of was your mother father cousin who what family members at that time both my parents had we're already in the US my dad actually sent me into Liberia when I was about nine years old so I was there for about six months so I was pretty naive I was staying with my auntie at that time and she was my Guardians the journey at that time I was with my cousin my cousin who grabs my hands you know he helped me through the whole journey to the school the school I believe was about 45 minutes to an hour walk but at that time we didn't had time to walk we were running your life yes we were running I remember I was out of breath I had a bag on top of my hand I'm trying to hold that study I had a piece of sponge underneath my arm and he's holding my other arm so it was like very very tiring very confusing and we made it luckily we made it safe to the school so how long did you guys have to camp out there at the school before you could return back home I think it was about three weeks to four weeks almost almost a month we were in like a cafeteria style so everyone had like a bedsheet whatever they can lay on honest I don't know if you like me but I'm sitting here I mean what year was this this I believe 2004 3 to 4 2003 and 4 can you imagine something like this going on during that time were there any tragic losses or traumatic things that happen yes I remember those this faithful day we heard over the news that everyone should remain safe everyone should remain indoor so we were locked in the school compound for about 3-4 days and there was this morning I actually got up I was laying on the sponge and my cousin was laying right next to me I were more closer to the door than he was so I got up for a second to use the bathroom when I came back he was laying in my spot so I went in lighting next to his spot well took his spot about 10 minutes next thing I heard was this loud noise very loud noise and everything was a flash after there I saw everyone all I saw was everyone in the room money for the next room people yelling crying and screaming I didn't realize what was going on but I'm come to find out that a rocket a bomb just fell in the school compound and the particle of it entered the room that we were in and when I turned over and looked over and my cousin that actually was laying in my spot his hand was cut off and it was Juliet's hatchback like a little piece of flesh and at that time I kept saying backbend me he was laying in my spot you know but for the grace of God that could have been you yes so I was that was the day I actually realized that things were pretty serious I knew that we all were gonna die that we were not gonna make it and something very terrible was going to happen and I was scared I was scared I was terrified I kept staring at him and the next day the theme kept replaying in my head over and over and over I've got a purpose for having you talk about this because I'm tracing the intensity of fear mm-hmm that has been put in to you from this situation this egregious act from the rebels and the things that you saw the things that are now part of your memory that you could close your eyes for several years and still see it over and over and over again and we're tracing the intensity of fear mm-hmm because there's something about fear and the devil that works hand-in-hand fear and torment that works hand-in-hand I'd like for you to count in a sense list some of the horrific experiences that you've gone through the school that we were in it was close to actually the beach so I know like doing like the Mayday some of our walk to the beach and we see a lot of bodies being buried that incident actually killed about 20 to 25 people in the compound but like I said my cousin death was very close to home because I was the one that was supposed to be in that situation so that just occupied my mind you know and it kept replaying over and over and over and luckily a week after the incident the the wall slowed down everything was pretty calm and we were told to go back home and a few years after that I moved to the United States when I came I was excited but I also had this guilt you know that um I left all my friends and I kept thinking about what they were going through you know I kept you know dealing back home like you know situations they were in how their lives were doing and now I had this opportunity to live a normal life a regular life and have a dream and actually live my dream where do we now get to the point where you felt like there was demonic influence trying to now ruin your life right so after living in the u.s. for a few years you know I went to college graduated college and after college my young my little sister who happens to be 19 was living in Georgia so I actually drove her on campus she went to Spelman so I drove on campus and I loved Elena I was like I have to move I moved to Lena six months after and once I moved here is him like the demon started following me again again you mentioned again again Wendy when do you think he first star following around the time of the you know the war when I felt like you know I just had a normal life and all of a sudden I'm in this situation I cannot control right you know so when I said again I felt the same way when I'm you know after moving here do you recall feeling the fear again yes I had no family member like I said other than my sister I had no friends I was lost at some point I became homeless I lost my car I lost my job and something something gets hell let me move back home I kept telling myself I can't there's a bigger purpose there's a reason why I'm here you know and upon moving I remember this day I went over to a friend of house and we were just having a regular conversation in Rome on her bed and all of a sudden the same noise you know that I grew up hearing I heard that same noise again so I recognized what it was but at this time I actually felt a burning sensation so imagine us laying on her bed head and this loud noise and all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain and this burning sensation and I look over at my friend and she look a minute she passed out so I'm sitting there like oh my god I just got shot so I'm checking my body looking all over to see if I was bleeding where the bullets were but I couldn't find any bullets so I'm like what happened so we pulled the pillow over the bullet were actually stuck in the headboard literally by inch from touching my spine come to find out her neighbor was just disarmed II his gun and the bullet flew from to his apartment or her apartment and that just gave me a flashback back to Liberia did you feel like that bullet was meant for you I did and kind of like you know the enemy is trying to finish what he couldn't finish in Liberia right I felt that so was the temptation to have fear that my life is now on the line and yes he's gonna continue until he kills me yes I kept telling myself what is this why am i why it might keep coming close to death and it was a situation where I we were just having a casual conversation laying in her bed you know I was like I wasn't at the wrong place at the wrong time why me and why was I faith but here here's the second time but for the grace of God right there we go again so you think I mean that's that's what the shows about we trace God's grace right go ahead right so I was again I was terrified I felt like it wasn't normal or what can I do about it we have authority right it's kind of like Georgia power turns on the power to our house but they're not gonna come to the house and flip the switch we gotta flip the switch so God's giving us the power but we've got a flip switch and before we end this show today we're gonna show you how to flip the switch knows when we carry a special package for the kingdom that sometimes there's an attack released to try to stop you from reaching the destination that is on your life and we'll do anything he can to make sure that the impact that you were designed for doesn't reach other people and I have to prophesy something to you God knew at the very beginning what impact you were going to bring to this earth and you carry a special package that's going to change the lives of people and listen if it were not so the devil would not be concerned about trying to stop somebody that he already has he will lose because he's already lost we got a we got to make sure you know what to do not to live in the torment of his attempts to try to bring you down because like God needs faith in order to bring his word to pass Satan needs fear in order to bring his words to pass and you remember Jobe said the thing I feared the most has come upon me so the number one fear that Satan wants to put in your life is to be afraid that what God promised won't come so if there's anything that would hurt you it would be to hold on to fear and to tolerate it if you tolerate fear you contaminate faith you must not fear and that's the enemy's plan if I can get hurt of fear I'll pull I'll pull up stuff that happened when she was 10 I'll pull up stuff that happened when she was 15 I'll pull up I'll keep pulling it up if it will guarantee me that she'll hold on to the fear because the more she holds on to the fear the more I am able to release attacks against her life and so today is the day will you declare no more fear and so I read in your testimony where you just felt like there was a demonic attack that has been unleashed against you why did you feel that after everything that happened I guess suppressing stuff yeah and it felt like the more I suppressed the more things kept happening right after the event of almost being killed I remember my sister who I said I moved here because of her she went to Liberia for my grandma's birthday and she was a person with a promising future you know she had goals no one is perfect but she was close to perfect to me you know and her goal go into Liberia was to was to just capture everything about Liberia and how she being 19 year old can help the country on her journey there she has so much fun two days for her to come back she was involved in a car accident with five people in the car and one person got injured and she was the only one that died so when that happened when I got the call even though I asked myself God why didn't you save her you saved me a couple of time why not her you know they told me that she died and I lost it I was like this is it this is the point where I feel like I can just do anything I don't care no more you know and that's when I actually became really really scared of myself because at that point I kept telling myself like you can die any day why are you preserving yourself just do whatever you want and at that same time again I was stuck in a situation where I lost everything I had no sense of direction I had no clue where I was supposed to be what I was supposed to do I was lost you see in that particular place here we moved from fear - the Bible says to give no place to the devil that grief that occurred because of the loss of the loved one and the things you just told her Hale was applauding because it was like she's given us place now I don't care it doesn't matter anymore why I'm not preserving myself why don't I just do what I need to do so when the fear wore out he has to have you to give place to him for you to continue please understand something Satan didn't have any authority except we give him authority and so he has to get us to authorize him to be able to do what needs to be done and so that's why it's so important that we don't allow him to play on our ignorance and he depends on us being ignorant of who he is but when you know who he is you can do like Jesus when Satan came and said you know if you will bow down to me I'll give you this I'll give you that and Jesus turned to him and he said don't don't don't let this body I have on get it twisted I am the Lord your God I still know who I am and the Bible says that Satan flee well you have to know who you are in Christ Jesus and you knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and every attack and every tragedy and every hurt and every pain becomes an opportunity based on how you handle it to either authorize God to begin to move in your life or authorize Satan to begin to move in your life you choose God is not the God of War God is not the god of sickness and disease God is not mad at you and holding stuff against you absolutely not the thief comes to kill stealing store well why did that happen because there's a devil loose well how come that person got it because there's a devil loose and we who have authority are not loosing our authority to bind and to stop things from happening but when you know the power that you have been given when you know the authority in the name of Jesus has you've been given you will one day stand up and say I devil that's it that is enough I bind you in the name of Jesus and you're not permitted to go any farther you have that authority let me ask you this question have you been born again yes I was born into a church but due to everything that happened of course I've lost a lot of fate you know I'm trying to gain my faith back I'm trying to gain my spiritual strength back would you allow me to pray with you yes for that to start happening right now audience would you join us on this let's let's pray together so father in the name of Jesus I declare the blessing of God over my dear sister here I declare that she's blessed going in blessed coming out the blessing is working on her through her and for her right now I renounce every curse you have no authority here Satan you have no authority here if we spoil all of your plans in the name of Jesus Christ father we give you praise now for her life and I want you to repeat after me say Heavenly Father Heavenly Father I believe I believe been Jesus that Jesus is Lord it's Lord and I received my salvation and I received my salvation right now right now in the name of Jesus name of Jesus Satan Satan abide behind you in Jesus name in Jesus name I command I command you to cease to cease and your maneuvers against me I maneuver against me I am and blessed blessed in Jesus name in Jesus name [Applause] you know the devil's influence is very subtle but as believers operating under the covenant of grace we have the
