[Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] good [Music] [Music] i don't know i [Music] on so i i honestly i thought it looked like it didn't go in high gear it didn't i i don't know what it was and i was literally like i was like oh my god it's making a weird noise just clutching i don't want to blow it up yeah no we don't want to break it anymore but guess what i was on the tree double f6 really he was 30 i would have yeah it's all good hey you know what it is i'd rather not blow my crap off the job today and honestly i would much rather quit trash [Music] maybe what happened it was just in a really weird spot at that exact moment this this thing goes when you put it in fourth gear it feels like it goes in the least in high gear so i don't know i'm really upset though because i'm really doing good nah yeah you did great um honestly you proved to yourself that you were born let's hope it's not broken so we can race tomorrow but it is okay good job all right so um we went through two time runs today um we went uh first round um i was 39 on the tree i was 39 on the tree first round um the other car was red that's what it was the other car was red um so i won first round second round i was 30 on the tree my opponent was 10 um i went down there and dropped uh to push her through to be under uh one number so she was dialed in 681 and she ran a 680 so uh therefore since she broke out i went on to third round and um silly me i forgot that my dad had changed the shift flight so when uh it comes time to shift to fourth gear i have to watch the attack instead of shifting on the shift light because it's too low for for third to fourth gear you want it to be higher rpm and not lower rpm um so i shifted and i bogged way down and i wrapped way up so i was like maybe it's not in gear maybe something's wrong so i just push the clutch in um and um gave up because i was like i'm not going to burn my stuff up i don't want to do that i'd rather lose than burn my stuff up well i got off the track and everything um and i was like okay seems fine so i drove it whatever did the trailer whatever um i took it around the track uh drove it and you know put it through the gears from first second third to fourth fourth was fine it stuck so then we watched the video the in-car video and we were like oh that's why um because it i shifted it real low and the edges the clutch was just it gave out and it was just part of the clutch up and so it's better that i gave up um it would have been better if i did my job correctly and executed it and watched the shift flight uh or watch the attack instead of the shift light um but i'd rather learn from experience obviously um and also uh i'd rather quit than possibly put myself in jeopardy of burning up and blowing up and breaking and whatever so we get to race tomorrow um hopefully i'll do well and um uh like my dad said earlier um to me i'm at least proving to myself that i can go around it's not impossible for me i just have to there's more learning more more learning which i just found out that there's a lot more learning so but that's the end of uh number race day number one um and we'll get back at it tomorrow and uh yeah so that was you know another just one more way to lose but it's okay i'd rather lose and be safe save my stuff and tear my stuff up because it's expensive and i don't have the money to fix it and dad doesn't want to pay to fix it so whatever we're having fun that's all that matters um learning is definitely a part of it so we'll get after it tomorrow also just real quick um i would like to point out that i've been kind of struggling with my likes i was 20 in the first time run i was uh 19 red and the second time run so then i was 39 first time run or first round i'm sorry and then i was 30 second uh round and then i was double of six so the other guy's 30 and i just came up with this talking to one of my friends about it i would have had that guy covered like butter on toast but that did not happen i was really upset about it i was finally like super good on the tree so yeah but it happens whatever hopefully tomorrow we'll get after it and it'll be good and i'll be able to go some rounds too prove myself again it's just not like a one-time thing even though i i know it's not it's just a learning process so [Music] so it is day two here in atlanta for the national open we just ran our uh first and only time run um our spun uh really bad um it was pretty pretty lazy all the way down the track didn't really recover um so we're probably just gonna wing it kinda for first round cause can't really use anything off that run um but we'll see what happens in first round um it happens uh we're still here having fun so that's all that matters [Music] [Music] do [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so we just ran uh second round uh i lost uh the car did the same thing it spun really bad uh it really it's been really bad after first time run first round and second round so last night um when i lost in third round uh i i shifted it too early from third to fourth and maybe it slipped the clutch too much and actually damaged the clutch so we're not really sure what's happening with that we'll take it home we'll take it apart we'll see what's going on um but um i lost i'm not really mad about it i was pretty concerned it was consistently late on the tree because of the car spinning but i had fun i proved to myself that i could go some rounds and that i do know how to race impact but it's just one of those things where i might have been having a good day and i could have got it done if the car wasn't um off so it is what it is we'll take it home we'll fix it um and we'll get back at it the first of the season next year so uh yeah we had fun and that's that
