hi okay welcome to my home i'm very excited to show you around let's get started being a country girl at heart i really wanted to bring a piece of the country to london and have a bit of a french rustic theme going through the house and so i feel like we've really accomplished that with working with ocus designer this is the really cozy corner of the whole house everyone just loves chilling here we've got these amazing cushions i love these little books because no one knows what they are and they're great to kind of keep things in these bird prints everyone speaks to me about these we go to the country the weekends a lot we go to little kind of country shops and we find some antique bits which obviously make it really homely this is our favorite room we spend all our time in here in the evenings we actually make conversation with each other everyone kind of gathers here before and after dinner then the music starts and everyone starts dancing a few things i've learned from my mother from hosting is always have plenty of alcohol always prepare your food well in advance you don't spend all your time in the kitchen and if you're not a good cook make sure you date a good cook so this is our snug room we've got the contrasting colors with the orange and the blue and these blue coral prints that i absolutely love i could kill a cactus but i haven't killed these plants yet so fingers crossed it continues like that the gorgeous ochre lamps bring in all the colours with the blue and the orange which go with the cushions and the gorgeous country rug feature walls amazing wallpaper and this antiquey looking mirror that kind of makes the room feel a lot bigger it's also got quite dark walls i love my leopard can holders these get a lot of love on instagram this is the master suite i feel like it is a very peaceful room in here the previous owners never used this floor so i'm actually made up with how it's turned out got the balcony doors open them up it just feels amazing it's like the birds are flying out of the doors i love all the detailing especially the chester drawers you've got that brass beading it just all complements each other really well i love this like little french chair in the corner it's my reading chair reading chair when the offer was accepted in the house i got the oka team round to check out the space measure up so everything was well and truly prepared when we did move in i have to say i couldn't ask for any better experience i didn't want to have to go through the catalogs picking things having the designers you know give me a view to pick from and show me some ideas of where we could go that was a huge help to me and it really has been a dream come true like it sounds really corny but it's true like i've literally made my perfect home all my friends are amazed how we've managed to be so lucky to get this amazing place and make it look even more amazing with everything that oak has done for us
