At Home in the Hamptons with Muriel Brandolini

[Music] you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] you [Music] this is a properties of the owned since 17 years my husband found this property when I was in a trip in Europe and he said we really must get back in immediately because it's so amazing I didn't want to be that at all I wanted to be in Connecticut and so when I saw this property obviously fell in love with it as well we had two little house here one was an old shack on which the view of the day and then we lived in it for 10 years and then we decided to be off this house when we met the architect Rafael above the Lutze she's from Venice as well as my husband I just loved her design and I the only thing that I told her - what you want it's the only thing I hate is to hear noise so that why she created this house being a the we call this this hallway basically a telescope and you have like in an airport little terminal so the terminal one is a dining room then you have terminal to the kitchen terminal 3 my daughter suite terminal 4 the media room and my terminal which is totally at the end of the telescope which is my bedroom they say it's a good way not to hear any noise and the second thing that my in my participation in this house was when she told me oh can you choose one color for the of the exterior of the house and she showed me for color I said why don't we do each cube a different color gray cream yellow and brown and while the house was being made I suddenly got a call for the contract I say you must come here and do the color of the house right away if not we're going to delays a project and it's going to cost you a fortune so I came here and I did the entire house color in two hours it was so quick and I five years later I think that the colors of the house makes this modern house a cozy home this is a house that you fully leave is modern of course but it is cozy extremely cozy was ordered patterns of that put and whatever I find that I like and by I don't think about the house on itself being a modern house but how we can leave it with the bay the water the pond the nature and this is what we do [Music] [Applause] [Music]
