[Music] i was studying to become a doctor actually but when i was at the university i was actually a challenger so so one day i was talking with my friends and they were like wait but why don't you join your team like your challenger maybe maybe you can join the team and i was like okay then i will try and i created a twitter account and i made a tweet like i had no followers i didn't have any friends on twitter so they don't know anything about twitter too so i was like hello i'm challenger i'm looking for a team and like a guy from a structure he contacted me and he was like yeah okay why why don't you join my team and was like okay well my first experience as a as a player so even if it's amateurish it's like first experience so that was that was really interesting so and after that like i wanted to continue on this on this way because when i was at the university you know i wanted to become a doctor since i was kid but the really the playing was like really a patient so it really got me like and i was trying my really my entire life to become a better player and like in while like if you check one year ago i was like in third event in france then i then like i went into a second division in france this year i went into my first split in really professional league lfl french league uh i went first i won new masters and then now i'm here it went like from one year i was like nobody and like i'm a toplaner of narikan that is amazing wow i love that and that is the storyline of this new generation the new breed they have this passion and you can tell adam is a prime example following his passion putting that doctor on hold and pursuing the passion that his video games he's so cool about it as well he's so chill laura's joining me of course i mean we have our own french superstar to talk about french superstars that works and adam and fanatic are coming off of a 2-0 week and before their game versus astralis myself in law hanging out with and i've got this practice list no wait how do you say it i don't i don't i don't i don't know the french way and that's amazing actually from the sot you can really see that everything came so naturally to him like yeah i just wanted to be a doctor and then i was challenger so someone told me hey you should become a pro player and then in six months he became actually the best planner in france like he also does in the sot he he's been playing professionally for a year he was playing in second division last year it's actually his first split in the lucy like the ascension from this guy is insane yeah and i mean the fact that he seems to have the mental you know like just he's following his passion despite being clearly a well-educated and informed individual it is badass and he does seem to be doing in you know record time he's competing against people who've been doing this for triple you know quadruple the same amount time he has and he's and he's a threat right like this this kid is is a real prong in the fnatic arsenal he's replacing wipo he's yeah that was i said uh a couple weeks ago like reaper had to make room for him right in fnatic that's actually something because yeah we would play during international finals so you have this kid coming up who i think will be one of the best at his position in a couple of years because as you said he's passionate he incarnates this new a generation of players who are just so hungry to succeed and yeah and learning from the best look at the team he's around yeah yeah and i mean he's surrounded by the best he's learning from his position because right now unlike in the lfl where he was like this big carry oriented uh player with a lot of attention from his jungler here you can see that repo is actually playing from the bot side of the map so actually it gives room for add-on to play and yeah just try his himself in the lucy and so far he's been quite successful a bit too aggressive sometimes but i mean that's just who he is right i mean there's part of that that's in his personality in his blood i'm sure and do you think that's part that's a good sign that the the rookie coming in is perhaps being over aggressive as opposed to being cagey on the big stage i think it's very interesting because we had some generations of ricky who showing up in the lc were actually scared to show their true colors and when i saw adam coming into the lyc this summer i was intrigued because i was wondering if he would change his playstyle his champion pool he flexed from his olaf during week two he was not afraid to show who he is being the aggressive player that we know him but yeah he has to refrain sometime a bit and like yeah tuck things slow and play towards his team conditions i feel yeah absolutely well i mean it's just an exciting prospect this new breed in this new generation and i think this is just a sign of the times dude i'm seeing it in counter-strike as well like there is just a whole new breed of these 17 18 year olds who who just yeah exactly who just happened to be challenger while they're studying you know oh my friends told me that game you play for fun that you are at a world-class level at maybe you should try and go pro like i mean these there's a couple more of them and adam is one we get to see stepping into the rift very very shortly i'm very interested as well you know when you consider fnatic and their kind of you know once bit and twice shy the the touching distance of that trophy lift so many times do you think adam could be the new component do you think whippo has what it takes to to fill fnatic out round them out but what i find interesting is that ripo is doing so well in the jungle and i feel like adam was the missing piece of the puzzle because he adapted so well to the team enabled fnatic spotlane to succeed while he has time to train and like yeah find his marks in the lec so i see fnatic shine a bit more hell yeah well we're gonna find out in fact adam and fanatic are looking to continue their winning streak tonight as they take on astralis in game four thank you so much and welcome to the costa disc i'm quick shot joined by various for the last two games of today and machine what a difficult question to ask lore is whippo the missing pieces adam what's going to help fnatic pick up that title once more i don't know we need to see a whole lot more we need to see how the season will develop but today it's pressure on astralis they are the underdogs coming into this match they certainly are especially when you look at fnatic's trajectory week one looks a little shaky you know the classic fanatic the one two start they've been zero three before and it was even bripo in a pgl saying like hey i've been in worse positions i've been able to bounce back and boy did they bounce back in week two the thing that i loved was bripo acknowledging and talking about the mindset shift and how he needed to adapt his play to support the rest of the laners we'll see whether or not he can help out his laners today as we jump on to the picks and bans and something that videos pointed out to me which made me so so happy he said that when you look at fanatics drafting they've all played four champions and they've all played three champions once and one champion twice he said trevor this is such a stupid quick stat there's no ways you'll say it on air so i decided to say it now coming in today it is of course new patch 11 12 and see what the priorities are going to be kalista and gwen immediately removed from the pool yeah and there's a bit of a caveat of course live you're all playing on 11 13 so no new items just yet no crazy changes still gonna be playing on last week's meta and we'll see what new stuff if any end up coming out today because i've already seen some adaptations coming into week three but so far it seems like a lot of respect being paid from astralis over towards finance the callista being taken away from upset the thresh of course right now a very big priority pick even after the nerf still on this patch and the renekton also removed from adam's hands i also want to see what fnatic do in terms of their draft i mean we've seen that olaf twice in the top lane for adam we saw the karthus last week for whippo as well as that viego so slightly different looks that's what we've seen from the rest of the squads and with that lucian locked in that will be the second time that magic fields potentially will play it he's played five unique champions across the five games played and nocturne is the first lock in here for fnatic looks like it knocked and still considered a very powerful and flexible pick it was the stride breaker quick shot that really resulted in his rise to prominence obviously i've been a big fan of the nocturne for many years but the uh the stride breaker item in particular uh i think it was largely popularized over in the lpl initially that kind of spread across the world has just been so dominant he's such a potent and powerful flex pick and i was gonna say perhaps rumble could be a high priority i believe you mentioned as well quick shot but it was one of those things that uh i'm surprised that they let it through we've seen bripo have good success on it he has played it a lot already but instead they're choosing the viego and right now i would be thinking this viego is actually in the jungle rather than in mid or top and i'm likely going to be taking the knockdown for himself and astralis they've got themselves a very strong top side of the map right now the lucian very dominant very powerful mid lane presence the rumble considered one of the strongest if not the still strongest jungle on the patch and then white knight gets his lease in he's played that four now gonna be five times so far this season it is his most played champion of the split he is the reason why they've won some of their games this play is his lee sin so fnatic just giving a straw it's pretty much everything that they want now can they execute that's gonna be the question because nisky locks in the twisted fate his ability to jump in with adam's nocturne is going to be very difficult to deal with and also when you think about that rumble equalizer while they're the ones being engaged on in the darkness from semi-globals you may not be able to have the time you need so we jump into phase two varys nautilus taken off the table the kaiser as well so this bottom lane has already been hit a number of times kalista out thresh out as well leona is she going to be removed from the table too we know that hiller sang loves to play engaged spawns but he's been playing a lot of brawn recently and we know he can use that as an engage as well hillasang will always use whatever tools he has to start a fight my question is what do they want to round this out with so another mobility that's tower pushing as well with that tristana locked in for upset and astralis how do they respond to this one we've seen a couple more sinners throughout the course of the day and worldwide i would be a little anxious tom kinch is still open and available as well if they wanted to go that route what would you like to see to close this composition out from astralis well right now astralis have a very powerful strong top side and i think that scaling on the bot side of the map is kind of how i'd like to round up like you want a safe weak side bot i would have thought they would go for the tom catch honestly because uh when you look at things like twisted fate you look at knock down you look at viego a lot of single target damage a tom kench great pick into things like that but instead they won that slightly more disengaged tool to the dive they want to offer that big aoe ultimate the galio can bring and perhaps a little bit more lane power you do have of course tom catch cena no 2v2 lane to scoff at for sure but gallio does offer a slightly more reliable engage with his e and a little bit more gang setup if that is perhaps the lane that they want to look to attack but i love the astralis top side i think that they have very comfortable champions that these players have played a lot so far this split and have had decent success on and i think that zanzara as long as he looks to play through magi felix use that strong powerful 2v2 mid jungle they can get a lot of early game dominance and perhaps nisky from roaming around the map and using their globals to attack these sidelines what i absolutely love about both compositions is expectation on playmaking expectation and getting in the face of your opponent i think the cena comboed with honestly a bunch of champions from astrologers that want to be in your face want to be that ball of death is going to be very interesting to see whether or not they can stay alive long enough against all that burst damage that can come out from fnatic of course a lot of pressure here on astralis as they are sitting at the bottom of the table for fnatic which side will we see week one a little bit questionable really dominant in week two i'm gonna be loading up onto the rift right now [Music] welcome to summer's rift for astralis taking on fnatic it's 2 3 versus 3 2 and just before we get to any of the action one of the things that i definitely want to highlight is just the differences in the early game between these two respective teams and for fnatic it's looking pretty good uh goal difference of 15 plus 1.9 k tower difference plus 0.8 but the big one for me is their kills and then their deaths very proactive team team that's very happy to be aggressive early on so that death value looks quite high and i think it's important to compare because you can see 4.6 10th 4.4 7th point is those are both quite close and the main point we want to get at is that they both die a lot the difference is that last split fnatic was dying about as much as they were getting kills this time around they're getting more kills than they are dying whereas australis is getting slightly less kills but both very active in the early game both love to skirmish in the early game and uh it's kind of setting us up for a pretty exciting early game at least that's what i'm hoping quick shot we know that fnatic has become a bit of a meme you know like it's not a new meme it's a it's a one as old as fnatic whereas you know if a teleport is up it's going to look bot lane uh if there are summoners up they're going to be looking bot lane and i think that we can set our expectations that bot lane will be a big point of contention for fnatic the question is what australis looks to try and match it or will they just focus on the cross map and instead attack adam as other teams have done so far this literally it is definitely an old-school tactic as well to attack the uh the global or the champions that can move around the map and of course i love the interview with whippo a couple weeks back where you were saying it's so nice to be able to help out the bot lane more than once every six minutes it just really sung stuck out to me and sung true because a lot of trading in the bottom lane upset and hilly got chunked out there by jazz glam promise q at the low level exchange magic felix pushing in here tiniski's twisted fate as you would expect to play out still level one here upsetting hillary as this wave now will crash into the tower those winds of war doing a lot of work to keep hilly back yeah very powerful poke coming out from the astralis bottom lane forcing fnatic to do underneath the tower a little bit of information gained from adam he used his early prio in order to drop that ward on to zanzara's blue buff as a flash comes in from hilly there's the engage already jessla flashes away off the headbutt as well the rocket jump forward from upset here comes whipple at level three has that flash available is not yet committing it and instead backs away so flash and heal from jessica traded for the flash from hilly so level two hilar sang already used his flash and you can imagine that now with hex flash also re-enabled that he is gonna be very active with that one as well but as we were talking about whipper already looking for a bot side gangs and dangerously low now a lot of damage going down onto adam he is in the middle of the minion wave so white knight is not going to chase further but that got very very close they did adam getting the quick level up there was uh very important for him to stay alive i'm surprised to anna uh white knight rather did not actually commit to that fight um there must be something that he saw that i didn't as an engage comes in for promise that was promiscu jumping all the way forward the damage goes down until he's saying that's the first first blood of summer for astralis promiscu low under 100 the kill goes to adam now jessica's running for his life remember no flash no heel but then zara is nearby three members of fnatic starting to chunk down this tower three and a half minutes in and of course adam is tpinging but i think it was a good tp for sure because it meant that this trade went heavily in the favor of fnatic yes australia get themselves first blood but look at all of this farm that is just being lost to the tower yeah you can't compare jessica to upset because jessica's not the farming person in this role but the reality is that experience is being lost gold is being lost and fanatic ultimately should have come out ahead even though and when you look at the top of your screen you can see that astralis sit at the top right now and i think a large part of that is because white knight was able to push in that wave i can't quite tell if he was able to get a plate on off as well yeah we'll check in just a moment the bonus goal from first blood as well malzahan zara is going to turn the damage around here onto whippo there will be some support in the middle ain't not going to get the plate but you can see now the gold equalizing out a little bit as these waves are being caught but ultimately i still think that was a big net win for fnatic because of the exp difference that is now starting to accrue upset being level four right now but we're gonna steal away uh the top side scholar crab as well so all in all i would say pretty advantageous in the other game for fanatic and of course crucial to keep that cena just a little bit behind and slow down how quickly she can influence this game we know how powerful late game santa can be but the teleports are now on cooldown for adam forniski as well as white knight magi felix the only one with that one up but as adam and nisky are about to hit level six there is the possibility for additional plays elsewhere around the map and uh exactly like we talked about fnatic happy to start fights look for them early focus them in bottom lane but also conceding a couple deaths the question is will they be able to find themselves a couple more as we continue to play out this early game we can see that zanzar is just about to finish off his walls i'm curious as to what his game plan is right now he's pinging towards the bot river they do have priority in mid for the time being you can see that big wave is stacking up towards the bottom of the map is upset looks to get a little bit of chip damage um but right now it looks like fnatic's main focus is gaining control over the bot side river getting a little bit of information getting the division down and they'll have their eyes on a potential gank onto hillary still no flash of course which means that there is a potential opportunity there but for now astralis not going to take much advantage of that all right pepper just finished his recall push his way back into the southern side of the rift a number of pings inside the dragon pit and of course there's no teleport there from adam so keep that in mind if anyone starts to make a play for it upset as well as hilly you've been able to shove this wave way to the tower and zanzar is nearby but he's not quite level six halfway there have a look at him he's someone you always have to keep your eye on as well it's the double globals that fnatic have on their side they both at level six both have ultimates up and ready and adam without his tp yeah you'd think he's probably not gonna roam that much but he has a very powerful wave clear in the early game and he's gonna keep moving down to mid for two reasons first reason maybe he can find a pick on a magi felix maybe he can get his flash out other reason to allow nisky to roam too he can cover the mid wave he can keep it pushed out making it harder for magi felix to potentially follow nisky as he's looking to alt towards the bot side of the map and add that numbers value advantage so very proactive in the year the game from the top player australia's gonna look to maybe challenge the drake gold card tags onto maggie felix the paranoia is thrown down vision denied to astralis and fnatic pick up a clean kill they get themselves the dragon as well and nisky jumps back to the mid lane i mean they were ready for that and they counted it beautifully so even though astralis were able to get early control of the river they didn't actually set up that much vision which meant that after fnatic pushed in bought adam roamed from top down into mid to offer that numbers advantage as well fnatic were easily able to control the bot side river they could set it for the objective and they catch maggie felix out resulting in fnatic getting themselves another early game advancement and you have to think about the impact and the power that both nocturne and twisted fates ultimates give a coordinated professional team vision denial and vision advantage between the two of them it just means in theory as long as fnatic are you know setting up the play they can utilize both of those tools and that is exactly what kind of prevented magi physics really from getting a lot of support and i love what we're seeing now in the lec because i feel like that we didn't see it from any nocturne players prior to this one second hillasang does have his eyes on magic felix but he's not going to overcome it for that pings are coming down but just using the ultimate for that vision tonight as you were saying quick shot we saw it earlier in the day as well and it's just such a powerful tool just stopping people from seeing who'd have thought it can be affected i mean especially at this level right where you have to respect all the potential abilities flash is still available for magic felix is going to hold on to it for now but a gigantic trade and this will just set this key up well to continue pressure and keep pushing this lane in already magic fix is done relatively well but now plated steel caps when is he going to help him out as well certainly well and have a look at the bot side of the map as well upset in a two versus one still keeping the wave pushed up actually forced that all the way underneath the tower still sitting with a comfortable cs advantage you can compare them to promiscu if you want it's totally fine the only thing you really need to pay attention to is he's level six he still has more gold than both of them and he is sitting very comfortably for the time being quick mass total gold 5200 for astralis bottom lane and sitting around 5400 uh correction 5600 for fnatic so just about 400 advantage that is exactly what the gold lead is between the two teams but fnatic have got the first drake on the board and zanzara with that equalizer it's just gonna show his face in this bottom lane start to back away there will be nisky as well as whippo inside their own jungle and zara is going to be able to just escape and sneak that one away that's cheeky yeah he wanted that ha sorry whipple wanted to hand the blue over to nisky uh but the ward came down now the ultimate the slow from the equalizer plus the culling forces the flash from nisky but that is a lot of damage unfortunately not enough a.d for magi felix well played from astralis honestly i think the flash timing was good there from nisky he waited until the end of the culling just because maggie felix was then committed to the point where if he really wanted to kill him which he could have with his q plus e combo there was a real combo there but uh uh he was too far invested underneath the tower which many likely would have cost in his life so good flash from nisky does get him to safety this could now open up though as astralis resets a potential herald but white knight is in the area to disengage fnatic from that all right destiny is available for nisky teleport is a few seconds away it does look like astralis have been able to push fnatic back we've got that marginal gold lead for now but this is one of the things that we were talking about and looking at uh as we came into this week was fanatics week one performance versus their week two and if you look at the drake percentages the herald and more importantly the time spent in a major league and major deficit fnatic had a phenomenal week two and that is definitely what fnatic fans are hoping for throughout the rest of summer and you know stats obviously they're often they're one of those things where you always have to take with a pinch of salt but this is one of those stats that's we're talking about how like you can see the clear improvement that fnatic had in terms of their ability to control the game and objectives in particular it was something that in week one they struggled with and with whippo at the helm there are a lot of conversations about like his role in the team and how they're able to convert that but what we're seeing is the evolution of woodrow you know the fact that he is using his lane priority well while also playing towards where he can actually gain advantages for his lane and though we're starting to see blippo become more and more impactful as a jungler as the weeks go by see how far they can push fnatic and whether or not machines question from earlier is this what will help fnatic make it back to the top it is very very early days we need to see exactly how this summer split plays out but for now this is a great position for fnatic and every play they have made has netted an advantage as adam will be able to get that fear into white knight continues to push him backwards from the lane and it just feels as though fnatic have been able to set themselves up well the carriers that they need to be in a good position are and it is a matter of waiting for those objectives 20 seconds for the next drake and it feels as though fnatic may uh want to make a play for that you can see hillary sang already starting to push some vision into astralis jungle and actually gonna even jump here onto zanzara throws down the ultimate there's no support yet from the rest of fnatic teleport finally coming in paranoia to deny vision jessica's ultimate doesn't do a whole lot promise q now caught in between the fanatic members will knock if you're just yet finally sent backwards equalizer to so much damage onto adam forcing him to flash to safety and hilly goes down drake is up and fnatic caught yeah that was really weird from hilly uh i'm gonna need to get the replay on that one to see if i can gain any real context as to why he did that but now upset could be in some serious trouble all right he's got the flash he's got the cleanse he's got the rocket jump there goes the flashing gauge from promise q upset uses that buster shot to send jessica backwards flashes away from the route continues to get chunked down 210 hp underneath the tower zanzar is making his way up promise you tanking it up and it's zanzara that secures the kill now turning the damage around onto zanzara this should be a kill for fnatic just as fnatic over extend astralis do the same yep and they're gonna lose the infernal drake for that so what was initially a big blunder by fnatic which australis had a huge opportunity to take advantage of ends up maybe not working out the way they wanted to save look so right now his mid does have prior but bot can collapse first and jungle isn't there so really i don't know fully what hillar sang is trying to achieve with this play but his team can collapse the ultimate comes in from adam and then with the tp as well they think they can actually go for this fight but a great rumble ultimate from zanzara comes through and hitler sang realizes okay i think i have to sacrifice myself for the team here and he ends up losing his life but then the over chase onto upset in bot lane means that while they do get a kill onto upset they end up losing the second drake of the game and the first tower of the game to fnatic as well so fnatic still net win overall i mean it gives fnatic a 1400 gold lead and as hilly decided to engage he did put a ward down in that bush but adam and esky had their tps available i don't know what the call was i can only presume hilly's saying tptp hopefully we can get an interview with him after because i i can't quite make sense to that one like maybe there's something that i'm missing but the first thing i thought of i was thinking oh he's probably sticking around with some vision that i looked he didn't have any water he just had that one pink uh uh yeah but in any case ends up working out for fanatics so as hell is saying probably typed in all chat all part of the plan uh hashtag yeah probably where the thought is um okay so fnatic's come pretty easy to understand as we now move into you know the sort of midstage of the game but for the astralis side what do you want to see them do because it feels like equalizer to start is currently the only engaged tool that astralis are using before happens to be in the area and will chase white knight away did flash for that too so whipple is really ready for the commitment um but in terms of what they need to do this is kind of what i wanted to see them doing a little bit earlier centaurus spent a lot of his early passing actually towards the bot side of the map but i think he should have been trying to leverage his top side punish the fact that adam adam was just left isolated in the top side which haven't really been able to do and now they're doing it but not getting a huge amount off the back of it you're now going to see the map open up and kind of go back to what you started talking about initially which is fanatics globals this is where their power really shines and we're seeing it right now there we go adam's going to jump forward onto zanzara no support yet as no one else from fnatic was nearby but as the observers highlighted the zoom out fnatic want to be inside the jungle of astralis they want to be starting every single fight and it hasn't netted them a gigantic advantage yet but they will steal away their red and they do chunk down that mid tower so that ultimate may have looked odd because of course you know he's ulting into a very awkward and difficult situation there but it's pressure that's what it's always about it's always about trying to gain some control and by engaging onto the enemy jungle forcing him out of the jungle you can see how easy it was for fnatic to walk in get all this vision down and steal away the enemy red buff as well uh and i think that adam's proactivity in the early game has been very much felt you know often when you're left isolated in a top lane it's difficult for top laners to have that same impact but adam is using his ultimate but he's not even in the fight he's constantly moving into the river he's acting and utilizing that fog of war and he's making astralis question doubt themselves he could be here he could be there and when he does throw the ultimate down he's also using it so a lot of credit needs to go for adam from the pressure that he's generating in this early game to allow fanatic to invade make things happen and ultimately get the lead at this currently sitting i mean that vision denial helps nisky and hillasang make it out of the jungle right because they continue to put pressure i mean if you look at the vision as well fnatic's wards are always inside astralis is half of the map and hilly is definitely one of the members pushing forward he's got the alt available if he needs that and he just might the equalizer is thrown down but the turnaround from hilly he once again gets taken out on a warding mission yep he does yeah and again you've always got to look at the mini-map and kind of question the pressure situation it didn't look like that they actually had pressure in mid which meant that astralis could easily collapse first the only pressure lane that he had was top and he ends up getting punished for adam didn't have tp as well but now here comes the ultimate from twisted fate but there's no ulti from adam or tp as we just mentioned so it looks like they're just using it to gain information uh get a bit of vision on what astralis is up to but astralis they're just going to disengage off of that help me understand what you think hillar sang is trying to do here right can anyone truly understand hillary no i don't think so but there adam will throw down the paranoia we'll force the flash from promiscu but that's two or three times now then it feels as though he's got an awarding mission without necessarily the greatest support or backup and has been punished for it yes it is perplexing i think is the word that i'm going to use i think it's one of those things where i'm always skeptical because i'm like am i in the wrong but we're gonna have to talk to him and ask him here he's got another good flank and he manages to head back zanzara into the members of fnatic weapons able to get the kill steal away their bodies with the heartbreak and now jess is the next target that was beautifully flashed away from hillary clinton will get chunked down as jessica and promiscu continue to push back fanatic last embrace whole tilly for just a second longer but there's no one from astralis there see we criticize hillasang we sit there and say how can you understand him but then he makes crazy plays like that and then you're like i don't want to understand just keep doing it illustration because it's great to watch all right white knight will catch up with bo jumps forward the resonating strike and bridge embrace comes down here from promiscu there's no minions to work with in the mid lane double tp are available the drake is about to spawn and i think fnatic is primed and ready to challenge there are a million wards inside astralis and hold that for now maybe wait for their ultimates as well to set up the engage but this will allow astralis into the river to pick up their first drake of the game slow down the sole point from fnatic it looks like flannick is willing to make that trade it's just the christian box again you know fnatic this game they they seem like they're hunting they seem like they are forming kill squads to just jump into the face of the straws and this looks like a kill here from upstairs not enough not enough the ultimate shield came through just in time and is able to keep jessica alive clutch stuff there but good hillary did that was so impressive to me going to take some damage but i don't think his life's in danger here zanzar are continuing to hover around maggie felix says he has done quite a lot throughout the game i mean do you think astraz's engage tools are a little weak because it feels that way to me well we'll talk about that in just a second because you can see what hillary sang is doing here is the same move that he did earlier but this time it's in the purpose of a flank so he sees zanzara coming around and he sets up for this engage this is great stuff from hillasang very clever great collapse from fnatic it's this next part that i really wanted to watch so keep an eye on the engage that's going to come through from promiscu he's going to use his e and hilassan to protect bripo is going to flash in front of it beautiful stun just great awareness great execution because his jungler likely would have lost his life there and it's just like that's the stuff that hillary does he is the flip he's the coin flip sometimes he into but sometimes he does really cool stuff like that and he's just he's just a joy to watch he really is when it's working out of course in a what is it's scratching when it doesn't exactly that no one will ever understand the mind of hillasang quick shot you absolutely cannot uh like four kills to four two dragons until one and fanatic continue to push that goldie just a little further but i'm gonna ask the question again how does science actually start off fights here because zanzar is just going fishing with that equalizer that's a very low cooldown he's got into tier 2 for now and has just chucked it out several times hoping that the culling from magi felix will work out but it hasn't just yes justin i think that a lot of the kills that astralis have gotten who punishes of course they've managed to punish him let's say a couple times oh hang on here we go oh there's the flash the ever frost the chase forward from whippo destiny gates as well now all of a sudden whitbow gets chunked down and chased up five members of astralis are able to respond nisky by sometime going golden they'll be two kills to one in favor of a charlotte big over commitment there from fnatic they were not expecting all five members of astralis to be in the bot lane and you can see that whippo was saying hey if i can get this reset maybe we can do something here but with all five members there well maybe if upset and hillary were actually able to make it just in time there was a world but unfortunately for them they couldn't quite turn around so good punish once again from australia as i was just saying this is where a lot of their kills and gold has come from punishing the mistakes from fnatic and we're continuing to see their over aggression the flash is done good initial setup but the immediate teleport before the ultimate from nocturne can come through and now they're flashing in they're alting in they're trying to get this commitment you can see the reset doesn't quite come through zanzara is here promise q is here the whole family's here for astralis to help out and they get themselves two kills i was watching the mini-map the entire time and theoretically promised you could have interrupted or slowed down upset and hilly's pathing as they were somewhere in the mid lane together and i think i want to give some credit here to astralis because every time fnatic have been in their faces or trying to make a play it seems as though astralis are poised or at least nearby at least ready whether it is intentional remains to be sort of reviewed and discussed but like you said they've been the beneficiary of a number of kills they are just marginally behind in gold right now and they do have a lot of tools to play with as this game continues to play out and i think you cannot deny the power of cena if this game continues to go the direction is two kills zero deaths three assists up to six thousand gold for now and starting to really become online yeah sorry it's just every time i see fasting center it's one of those things like you're totally right scaling a very valid point and then the gold comes up and i'm like ah she's poor and it's just the natural tendency of the fasting center it is what she's supposed to do but it always makes me laugh when you compare the 280 calories you can see like the two item upset three levels ahead and you're like is this balanced is that i mean okay you have 80 souls but i don't think you can compete in the damage department right now and i think that if astraz is relying on jessica they need to wait a little bit longer before committing well there's going to be another commit here from fnatic the dash away plus the gale force and this time round fnatic get a clean kill there's no response from australia very nicely done exactly what you want to be doing with this composition attacking the side lanes meanwhile the rest of generating pressure in mid oh that's a knock back there from the dragon's rage kick by white knight he continues to chase down up seth equalizer will not be able to pick up the kill just yet upset survives with his life in alzheimer caught between members of fnatic goes golden goes out gets killed and taken down by whippo the rest of the straw start to back away and another successful engage another great play from hillar saying there as well but great mechanics from white knight at the start of that fight it is a real shame that he wasn't able to get that kill onto upset because honestly he deserved it the execution was beautiful but fnatic end up coming out just barely ahead once more and this will be the third drake of the game for them extends that gold lead further and it is such a suffocating game to play if you are astralis teleport comes in here from maggie felix he's got support from white knight is the flash over the wall from hilly adam is gonna get chunked by culling but not taken out and it will force the teleport here from nisky to the top lane but i think fnatic are just challenging literally every single ward every single piece of vision from astralis and for the most part it is going fanatic's favor but it hasn't exactly been clean no it certainly hasn't but they sit with the gold lead and let's have a look back at this so again you kind of have adam hover one of the side lanes and usually twisted fate or you can do it vice versa the combined ultimate's very easy to collapse onto a single target so they get that initial kill then we see why night getting caught up by hilly doing what he often does in the enemy jungle sitting here with the control ward looking for picks but then look at this he lands the queue after the kick then he's able to follow the tristana then he uses a ward hop to land his e but he can't quite get that final auto in which means he ends up dying then we saw the fanatics perspective hillar sang with the great two man ultimate which means that they can't protect xantara ends up dropping a fanatic command ahead in the kills but just barely literally just by ahead brett so good stuff from fanatics they now start off the band have indeed they can appeal outside of the pit equalizer is gonna be very difficult to deal with now there was no ultimate or flashes by the jessica or promise cube of fnatic bait them out and pull out of the pits now of course because fnatic committed to that objective they're gonna leave the mid lane exposed which should give a small thing back towards australia let's get a little bit of objective but look at hilla saying he's gonna hex flash over the wall the rest effect not quite nearby adams teleport is available an equalizer will once again hold hilly in place sonic wave in resonating strike white knight gets himself to kill whippo starts to turn around onto white knight gets a lot of damage down but he cannot continue the chase and while that's going on there's no further towers for fnatic to take adam and nisky when the top and bottom lane respectively now astralis we're thinking about that baron but because of the side lanes they don't want to commit right now adam does have the tp and niski's also sitting top lane fanatics buying time here come the tps all right pepper goes forward onto magic felix he's forced to dash away to safety niski buys time and excellence are paranoid adam not yet able to pick up the kill match big stays alive the hero's entrance giving him the damage reduction adam manages to get taken up but not before he gets one back onto zanzara fnatic are pushing his stars outside of their jungle and a fantastic gold card into buffo stealing the shapes of astralis sets them up to get four kills and now the bearing wow that fight very quickly turned in the favor of fnatic even though they were a man down let's have a look at this reengage from fnatic here the tp's come through the top wave is pushing in the botway was pushing in at manche felix he just overextends he gets the shield from the center ultimate but this tpe and this engage look at how whipple immediately follows adam to try and get that kill to matchy felix then they have to disengage they have to backtrack adam just soaking up more and more damage and then the resets come through from whippo he gets that first run from uh the rumble he then gets lee sin and he's like oh i'm familiar with this champion top lane gets that kill onto the center and then can continue the chase the moment diego gets those resets is really where he becomes a menace very well played from whippo and the fanatic squad look at that damage 4700 here from the viego starting and ending it all gives fnatic the 7000 gold deal and i'm just really confused with this game it has been very interesting to watch play out at no point do i ever feel that fnatic lost control and i will say that they have just been nothing but proactive and some of their productivity got punished kelasang has overstepped uh that's not just him though we've seen over commitments in the bot lane from wippo as well uh but at the end of the day they're consistently coming out ahead in these fights and here we see another one now that's a great equalizer from zanzara tagging upsets and preventing the escape from whitbow this will help slow down the impact on this red bull balance baron power play and we'll of course get that shut down on him as well the thing is exactly like you said fnatic have been in control fnatic have dictated the pace and the majority of kills and things that astralis have secured has been punishing fnatic and that's gonna be jessica being punished he's just blown up in the middle lane so much damage from fnatic and now it's just like that a four before what's crazy is how fanatic keep going for these numbers disadvantage fights just by using their globals because it was they who was punished in the mid lane by astralis they recognized that fnatic didn't set up their side waves just yet there was an opportunity to attack the medes and that's exactly what they did but then astralis got to catch their sides they end up getting punished by fnatic who are now going to take themselves the first inhib of the game no ultimate on white knight so he's hesitant to engage despite being 4v5 they find themselves a kill onto jessica pushing to get the mid inhib now adam's trying to get some damage here onto madgie felix we'll pop the spell shielded not enough to do it so the two on one means that fnatic donates yet another kill but it is astralis that are reeling australia said now 10 seconds until the soul is up for fnatic this super's going to push into the middle lane for fnatic it's just a matter of uh trying to push down the nexus but they will have a man disadvantage for 30 seconds no teleport no ultimate for adam either i don't think they care they're going to start this one off hillary on the flank the hex flash available give this one up it's only the second drake for australis so they're not going to get the best use out of their baron um definitely a couple of mishaps here coming out from fnatic once again and you know it's one of those things where yeah we can say that fnatic a bit in control but as you rightly said messy game for sure a lot of over uh steps a lot of mishaps and fnatic have definitely been punished and astralis while they found small advantages they haven't quite been able to convert it into any significant control as fnatic once again look for a peck in a side lane so we're at the beginning of this game we highlighted week one and week two fnatic i'm gonna ask you to tell me where you think they end up jessica no flash available sweet three fanatic they're blown out be different to the first and it's just i don't i don't yet know how to get a read on the team but i do think one thing is consistent across all three weeks so far they want to make plays they definitely do they are uh an aggressive team that loves to skirmish they love to fight and i think that we continue to see that regardless of the comfort they've got and uh yeah they'll use ultimates just to challenge red buffs they will fight over wards they will pick fights that don't look optimal because they think that they can outplay like you have to be willing to skirmish fnatic because the the important thing and the thing that kind of sneaks under the radar is upset and then when you kind of draw your attention back to the bot lane you look at that score line that's a three item tristana level 16 200 adcs at 30 minutes yeah upsets very very strong so now when they're actually at that point where you can rely on the late game insurance that is upset as an ad carry um this is really where he turns online and it's crazy when you think of all the fighting and the chaos like you're talking about hillary saying you're talking about whippo um but then he is just sitting there quietly underneath just kind of soaking it all up to be that insurance um for when stuff gets serious yeah and i think this game it's been all about the jungle it's been all about the global so i'm saying hasn't had too many tp's into his lane he will be able to rocket jump to safety and hillary will be the first one to fall here astralis jumping onto fnatic there's no big objectives to play around so just a little bit of extra time do you think uh it's a very good point that you bring up you know in the pre-game law and machine were talking about adam and the influence he can have here on the team is the teleport should just about complete and it does niski's actually going to find an engage behind astralis there's three members of fnatic starting to push just a little bit forward and just a damage threat alone astronomers back away the paranoia vision denial it's definitely making it more difficult to play around and like you said you know adam upset every single one of these players has the potential to carry and you have no idea what comp they're gonna play and you have no idea what decisions they're gonna make in-game i mean i think that all yamana wants to do is give them tools to do things and i think this is such a great comp to be able to do things what kind of blows my mind is that when you go top jungle 80 uh and mid they're all level 16 trevor all of them like how often do you see that where all four members that they're all 200 plus cs i mean upset now 300 but the crazy thing is about the world level 16 like that is crazy to me normally you see like four like okay so top laners ahead the jungle's a little bit like a level or two down 80 carries only two levels down nope upset's now level 70. it was a two level advantage in the jungle it is now a four level advantage in the bot lane and i think also because of how many fights have taken place inside astralis jungle one of the things will be interesting to track after this game is just how many uh jungle creeps fnatic have been able to deny and steal away for sure astrologers have got no vision paranoia and destiny are available if adam and nisky need them and astralis may be just a little bit late here baron has already picked up that was safe straws didn't want didn't want to step into the darkness and the second baron goes the way of fnatic they already had supers in the mid lane that will uh stop for them in just a moment's time fnatic now start setting up if they want to get the soul they can playing this one now a little bit slower it's even more risky to push into the base of astralis which is what they're gonna have to do they might just wait for the next break yeah of course it does spawn in about 40 seconds and niski's gonna be sitting on the sideline with the tp up utilizing the oh i would have thought that he would stay in range keep the baron and powered minions up just kind of keep them pressured not gonna overextend too much but the thing is if he does empower the minions then they know that he's there and right now i think he's playing with fog he's gonna show himself a little bit just create that little bit of pressure say hey can't forget about me remember i'm over here come look and then what's gonna happen oh look fanatic passing towards the drake pushing out the mid-wave generating that priority bot also stealing away these jungle camps just kind of generating multiple points of pressure the classic split push strat you know kind of split the enemy team up force them to divide while you continue to conquer and of course the fourth item picked up there for upset he's now for the ga to complement his kit even more difficult to deal with uh destiny was there used by nisky continues to put pressure on the top lane no one from astralis inside their own jungle so upset will secure the soul here for fnatic they have baron they have soul and they have multiple waves of pressure as you mentioned it is still five levels by the way jessica has not leveled up since vedius highlighted that fact several minutes ago and upset's got himself two levels to his name that's just nuts i don't know how he does it i just all right cool it is incredible to think about and of course fnatic are now looking to knock down the nexus of astralis tomorrow they will face g2 that's what you two can do in the next game is kind of saying we'll get jumped on paranoia is used short range ulti there is adam holds on to the secondary trigger hilly still has that flash available well look at how fanag just keeps them split up you know they're keeping the mid-wave pushed in niski's taking tower top they also have upset pushing in bot lane he knows he's safe in isolation astralis now looking for a pick all right there's a heel available here four nisky changes away to the flasher oh goss will buy some time fnatic are here to save the day zanzar is now caught in between the members of fnatic he's the first to force whippo that picks it up swaps bodies now the rumble pushes on to the inhibitor well that's going on upset is pushing in the mid lane top inhibitor is secured mid inhibitor is secured bot inhibitor is next and it looks like this could be the final push niski's been able to teleport back into the astralis space yes the chunks so incredibly low heels already using may be forced to flash to safety as straws can do nothing but watch their base get destroyed fanatic jump into the faces of astralis time and time again and we'll look for a few more kills before they close this one out hilly is diving the fountain and setting up another kill and it's fanatic to take down astralis [Music] but the lead that they had a little long but fanatic were able to close out the game it did feel like that while there were definitely mishaps mistakes from the side of fnatic astralis were never really able to get a firm hold on the game they found a couple punishes found a couple decent fights but every time fnatic immediately took something back and uh i thought a little bit more about it i realized now that the galileo pick was mainly to match some of the globals you know we were debating all about that tomcat this is galileo i think the idea behind the gallia was oh he wants to tie a fold to a side lane why can't gallia waltz try and match but uh i don't think we ever really saw it um because the toxin ultra also makes that even harder unless you're very quick on the trigger ready to react i think it becomes very difficult so i don't think the galileo pick working out as well as they hoped and of course the bot lane struggling like just a lot of positive things to say for fnatic that's for sure a couple of criticisms too but you know like hilly the greatest enigma it's a perplexing game it was such a strange game a key player of the game nominees at lec on twitter whippo nisky i'm a little sad i just don't know he's not on it you know because you know the fans would have voted for him because even though some of his players obviously conceded advantages he also was the reason that some of those fights many of those fights went the way that they did but it's just it's such a strange game it was very interesting to see how it played out and ultimately it was fanatics waves fnatic in control we're closing out the day with an explosive matchup between vitality and gtv sports but first laura's getting some thoughts from nisky be sure to champion in summer um i mean yeah i always like twisted fate um i actually don't know i feel like i was just kind of feeling it and i told my coach you're gonna played tf this game and he was like sure and yeah we just picked it again i think it's interesting because the the meta is so diverse right now that i feel like you can pretty much play everything so what's your take on this because you said you were feeling the champion so do you feel like when you're feeling a champion you can actually pretty much play anything right now i mean this yes i agree with that because this matter i feel like you can let you play any champion that you want as long as you're comfortable on it at least it feels like it um and i feel like that's why you see so many different champions uh even in like other regions or just i don't know you see so many champions i feel like advent and for me it's just important that i'm comfortable in the champions i play and yeah just that phase is one of them so and we've seen you flex on the illusion twice now in the lac and i mean i feel like you're mostly known uh as a mage type of player in the sense even though you can play a lot of champions but would you say you feel comfortable in this meta right now i think this meta suits me very well to be honest i feel like i can kind of play the lame bully champions i can play roaming champions i can play the melee champion so yeah this better fits me well in my opinion um and yeah i enjoy it because you can just play anything you want so i can imagine and it reflects in the damage you deal actually uh among fnatic because when you look at it you're the biggest damage dealer for fnatic which is not common right now in the lec as the 80 carries usually are the one taking the most of damage so how do you explain this in the new dynamic that you have maybe with repo in the jungle and add on to plane also i'm not so sure to be honest i usually don't really care about like if i do a lot of damage stuff like that i just think it's probably because of the deal of the death of the champions i played for example lucian i know um it's like a lane bully so you just did a lot of damage compared to before where if you play like and i was i used to play like seraphine stuff like that where i don't deal any damage but now i play more like carry oriented champs so that's probably where i deal more damage than usual and it suits you well and i feel like we're going to have an interesting battle tomorrow on the mid lane in the match of the week g2 fnatic king's legacy whatever we i mean we know how it goes but how do you feel about this matchup when you know judo and how they play right now i mean for me it's still it's always exciting to play against caps because i feel like even though g2 didn't win i feel like he's probably still the best mid in europe and i feel like if i want to win the trophy i feel like we i at least need to be able to go toe to toe with them in the mid lane and uh yeah tomorrow is going to be the test and yeah i'm confident that we'll be able to win so eyes on the mid lane for tomorrow but that's a story for much of the week but for now in this week thank
