ASH Ketchum's Gen 9 STARTER Pokemon? Which One?!

ash ketchum has a goal of beating leon in pokemon journeys and if he accomplishes that goal as intended he will most likely be known as the strongest trainer in the world meaning that his journey as the pokemon trainer would then be complete but regardless of journey's ending will go i still think we'd be seeing ash in the generation 9 anime and if we did see ash there and he actually ended up catching a starter this time which of the three gen 9 starters would ash most likely have on his team there's no way to know for sure but i think i have a pretty good idea of who it may be [Music] what's going on guys hybridiary here yeah i know in pokemon journeys ash didn't have a single one of the gala starters and it was all go to have the three of them and if go does continue to travel with ash or we get a protagonist similar to him it's possible that the new starters will go to the companion characters and not ash ketchum but i think with the response that fans had to ask not getting grooky at least i think there's a solid chance of ash getting one of the three between springtito fue coco and quacksley but i think there's one in particular that matches him more than the others and it may not be what you're expecting to hear first let's get rid of the least probable one for him and that's brigadito ash tends to go for very powerful and fast pokemon his team for the most part and springito looks like it would develop and evolve into that kind of pokemon however sprightito is very clearly a more feminine pokemon which is not something that the writers particularly give to ash in fact the last two phantom stars that we had were fennekin and popplio and they were both safe for ash's funeral companions of serena and lana chances are that whatever female companion that will be joining ashland's adventure in this anime will be the one to carry springtitle with them but it definitely will not be going to ash again ash's teams in the past three generations have all been carrying a sort of cool factor to them and even besides that just look at his journey's team and look at how masculine the majority of his team looks the most phantom pokemon thing he's ever had would probably be livani but besides that nothing much so i think it's safe to keep sprightino aside here so really the debate is between fue coco and cuaxly and both of these pokemon really have something going for them starting with voy coco fue coco is without a doubt the most popular of the three gen 9 starters and the fan favorite which ash tends to particularly carry towards the fan favorite starter and have them in his arsenal as he has with pokemon's infrared greninja and charizard fire stars also while i don't wish to admit it have been some miss best and most consistent starter pokemon between the three types and the one he has the most evolved of way coco in general also has the most potential in my opinion to come out with some kind of crazy evolution making a total wild card and possible monster of a pokemon cool actually on the other hand is a lot safer of a pokemon to go with co actually may not be some people's favorite between the three but i don't think there's a single person out there who doesn't like quacksley it's already been the subject of a bunch of memes and we all know how meme culture went for ash and rowland it's a cute clean and tidy boy and also has a lot of good potential with evolution maybe not as out there as way coco but i think whichever way it goes it will in fact be rather fast and offensive ash also technically has not had a water type starter in a while yes he does have a water type pokemon his team currently with dracovish but when it comes to starters the last two that he had as a lolo team were relit and incineroar so the water type starters do need a new member on ash's team now obviously the final evolutions of hue cocoa and quacksley is probably what's going to set things in stone for ash and i can see this playing a major role in which star ash gets for example if quacksley did end up evolving into a wired dark type and ash only had one gen9 starter that might might hurt quaxi's chances a bit because of greninja practically being the ash pokemon the writers may not want them to overlap and if ash does get a water dark quacksly evo that may hurt greninja's chances to appear in the new anime but then again he did have infernape and pig knight back to back for foy coco if this theme becomes a dragon fire type i can also see it hurting his chances since ass just had two dragon tapes on his journeys team but but but he did have three flying types on kalos and then rel alola so maybe my typing points are pretty invalid he did have noivern and goodra and then negana delso yeah but with all this being said i think the best starter for ash to go for in gen 9 has to be quacksley now hear me out i know fue coco is the fan favorite and the one with the most potential but i feel like they never go with super risky pokemon with ash like blaze against swanford are probably more popular than sceptile at this point but the trico light all the way through is the safest starter choice between the hoenn starters and i think the same might apply here in gen 9. they wouldn't take big big risks with ash and above all the biggest reason why i pick quacksley or fue coco is because for the most part like i mentioned earlier ash's team primarily focuses on being fast and fue coco's description straight up mentions how it's a slow pokemon so this would most likely be a slow and tanky pokemon yes he has had torterra before but that was again alongside infernape so it was passable but never has ash owned a single starter pokemon from a generation and that starter pokemon be slow even in alola he didn't have incineroar he had torah cat who's faster than in sinner or so i think that proves my point if way coco somehow loses its limbs and turns into this fast fire poison stink or something then it's definitely going to be on the table to be on ash's team but if he doesn't and ash gets a starter i'm pretty sure it's gonna be quietly like you just can't go wrong with it it's cool it's cute it's safe everyone loves it why wouldn't you give it to ash i will admit it's not like quacksley has a lot of points going for it here it's more like sprigatino fue coco aren't too likely to be on ash's team so it has to be quacksley but i honestly can see it working out well for him so my final answer here is this between having zero one two or three of the jet nine starters i think ash is either getting one or none but i'm going to stick to one here and between the three i think quacksley is the one that he will be getting simply because the other two don't fit him too well that being said though if questly ends up evolving into a water dart type it just may be fue coco that's on his team so we'll have to see thanks for watching guys i hope you enjoyed be sure to
