self-doubt is you know like if you have a creative mind you're gonna doubt a lot of things about the world about yourself about that's all completely normal it's just like breaking fear is encouraged and I know on the other side of your fears just you really want yeah what about that not worrying about what other people think or knowing you can just do it it goes to that [Music] it's like I don't doing that it's just how I think that that's one of the that's one of the things that I feel like is the reason why I'm here is because I was so positive that I was gonna do this you know I mean like like by the time I was 15 like when it was just me and the homies like walking around like in ciphers and like performing for two people like I already thought I was on unless you truly believe in yourself to that's what you got to do he's got truly believe in yourself I mean it's it's it's hard you know there's a lot of ups there's a lot of downs there's a lot of people telling you that it's not gonna happen there's a lot of people telling you that it is going to happen when they have no reason to so it's really all about how much trust you have in yourself you got to have a vision you got to have something you want to do with this and and you got to be willing to work for it you know it doesn't just come just because you're good at rapping it's not how it works you don't just get skills and then you're you know you're famous it's not you gotta like put in work foreign you know like if you have a creative mind you're gonna doubt a lot of things about the world about yourself about that's all completely normal I have to expose some part of myself that I'm uncomfortable with with every album insecurity is all completely normal especially with your own work because it's an extension of yourself so when you're giving away some of your art you're giving away a piece of yourself and it's like it's like being it's like standing in front of a bunch of people naked you're kind of like I don't know I don't you know what I mean so I like it so I was like you know I mean you gotta like you gotta like just just start being cool with letting people get to know you on a deeper level and then then it all happens honestly like I remember when I first started putting out music I was like I would read like everything and really take it like you know you'd be like oh man like Sam in Connecticut thinks that I sound like this person that's crazy like maybe you mean like you delete the bad comments no no never never good but now but like there's a thing is is is I like to look at how more how it's impacting people you mean like like I'll like I'm I'm not gonna act like you I never read anything man because he has scroll and like see what's up and like and like if I just drop something I like to get reactions and stuff like that but it's always like this is what I've learned is that no matter what it's always the same thing it's people like it or people don't and that's all it is and it's like and it's like it's one of the two now what I do like is like looking for like personal like stories or something that really mean something to someone because that's really awesome when a piece of music that I create actually means something to someone's life like that is really incredible that's why I do what I do but as far as just like um a critique you know what I mean like good or bad I don't pick anything up you know I mean because all I'm trying to do is get better so so someone saying like you're the best ever like I'm like you know and then someone's saying like you're the worst ever it's like the same thing right yeah I mean like it's an opinion right but if you can affect someone's life then that's gonna that's great that's awesome like if it really means something to someone like that's dope let's talk about it [Music] something that I'm unfamiliar with like the people the process um the risks the courage that it requires like there's a lot of things of like in order to really succeed you have to live on the outside of like your own body like the outside of your skin and it's very that's very difficult for me naturally because right I don't I don't know like I would never volunteering any other incident like I don't think I would also not recommend it to anyone else to volunteer but I think but it's like when you hear your flow of like I don't know what this means for you in particular like what are these lessons teaching you like what are these songs and like the the process of like growing and getting through these fears like sitting here with you is a fear or being like I don't know talking in a room or this album comprised of telling my business it's just like breaking fear is encourage and I know on the other side of your fears that you really want yeah also learning who I am on stage because who I am on stage is a lot like louder than who I am personally yeah but it's weird I don't know how to access that like consciously yeah you're gonna get there we just watching Evolution right now all right [Music] it was just really scary and like it gets to a point where it's all so scary and so new that it's just like I might as well just has there been anyone who I don't know I think are you scared to release it a little a little I think I think I want to stop talking about my music I think I want this is the album that I want to kind of just be self-explanatory and that's what I want people to take away from it most so if you feel like you hear this you don't know me or you feel like either you with me or you don't after this because this is what's in my head so there's no like there's no 60 plugins there's no 35 backgrounds there's no metaphors about that that I used to mess with it's just like I'm speaking directly about that I messed with I'm irritated everyone can know there are no backgrounds to hide this there's no Reverb to hide it it's just it's just yes I feel very free I feel very free wow I can't wait to hear this you know some people are more quiet and reserved and observant and some people are center of attention and the nurturing part from that is just like I had a mother who was like yeah go go [Music] gonna do this and it just says oh okay then you just keep that energy that thought that just like that so then when it comes to like uh having like aspirations or dreams or goals growing up not worrying about what other people think or knowing you can just do it and what that is is everyone wants a cheerleader which just goes back to if I walk into Converse and I'm like yo I know no one's gonna buy this but let's do an all silver shoe that looks like 3M that's on the jackets construction workers wear and they're like all right let's do it and you need that you need cheerlead everyone wants a cheerleader absolutely [Music] when you're looked at is just like the T-shirt hoodie sneaker guy and you go into this new world the people who love and support you might not have the same lens or experiences or live obviously in the same type of world that you live in so it was weird because a lot of that got met by negativity and I'm like no y'all like this is a different world but now we know how dare you did it and I'm like no like you can't pigeonhole me based on the side of me that you like like oh you like t-shirt Tyler I feel you but in my regular life this is actually the that I do and I wanted to put my version of that out because of the world we live in now everything's reactive everyone's like why is this like this instead of wait why is this like this so that was like a that was challenging for that side not making this stuff like figuring that stuff out was like fun because it was new for me it was like well yeah I always buy this stuff but oh that's how it's made that's this and that so that was fun but being looked at as a certain way to some people when you switch that in any type of way some people are like you know you say [Music]
