armad cor law the Cowa and Moonlight in armad cor 6 cutting itself through time and Blasting holes in any who DARE stand in its way the time for the next generation of the famous weapons that have carried Ravens or have been the last thing they've seen has come having already spoke about the previous generations of both the Kawa sa and the Moonlight in their own videos I have decided to give this new generation of these weapons a video of their own as such let us first take a look at armored Cor 6 kaasa the 4442 kaasa a multi-energy rifle developed by all mind this version of the gun is perhaps not as legendary as its counterparts with an attack power of only 312 it is quite pale in comparison to the power of the other cow Towers even the very first one had an attack power of 1,150 and this was without charging this CAU I'm sure to Ravens of the past feels very scaled down the impact of Fire firing a blast from this gun is not as hard-hitting as it was in past Generations in truth it feels very underpowered as even with nine shots against the test AC it feels like it does so little the charge attacks are honestly more of what past carar had a large powerful blast that takes chunks of armor points away from your foe the charge featuring the armor Core 5 felt more impactful than here and the overheating is something that only seems to hinder this gun more as before the carasa could be fired at a great energy price but NE this rather long cooldown period of waiting but that said I think the problem here is that the carasau is simply outclassed by other weapons even with two crafts using this kaasa namely the Mind beta and mind gamma we have the weapons that do the job of being the Cowa better but again I am no weapons expert and while there is really no story behind this generation of kaasa it's possible this gun of Legend is taking a back seat for the more story focused idea of coral weapons take the WL t011 this Coral beam weapon just screams power to me its attack being higher in all areas than this generation's kaasa or even the red shift which seems to ooze kaasa characteristics but it's not part of the line no it seems in this generation the carosa is taking a back seat for the focus on Coral weapons which perhaps explains why it feels as it does underpowered as for the Moonlight well I thoroughly dig it and I think it's definitely the coolest iteration of the fromsoft Staple in the entire armored Core franchise hi there this is November Bravo armored corlor very kindly asked me to contribute a section to this video so I took the time to scribble down the following portion regarding the IIA c01 W2 Moonlight the Moonlight has made an appearance in from soft games ever since its debut in 1994's original kingsfield throughout the years we've seen it appear in various forms ranging all the way from massive greatswords to katanas to the type that we're going to be discussing today ludicrously powerful laser blades I will say just Prima fasy that the version we get in ac6 is definitely the most uh spectacular of the various iterations that appear in the armored Core Series while it's been the case that almost every version of the Moonlight has allowed it to throw out energy w of some description they've usually required the use of a limited Resource as it is in bloodborne and Elden ring the Moonlight series of laser blades in armored Core titles though have traditionally pulled from uac's regular energy store the ac6 Moonlight follows neither Trend and instead just operates off its own coold down independent of the mainan reserve with a couple of regular inputs it'll fire off a pair of diagonal energy arcs or with a few seconds of charge a massive horizontal slice suffice it to say this version of the weapon is not messing around frankly I think it's one of the coolest iterations of the classic fromsoft Trope that we've ever seen in fact the only thing that I don't really like about it is its appearance it's got a kind of insectile vibe that makes it look like something that would be used by the gerver maybe it's just the fromsoft fashionista in me but I think this distinct look makes it hard to pair with anything but a few very select Parts in a way that looks appealing but that's a small price to pay for what is hands down one of the coolest weapons in the entire game as a LightWave blade it shares its Providence with other ancient Parts created by the Rubicon Research Institute like the red shift and wlt1 coral oscillators as well as sharing DNA with the Aurora LightWave Cannon of the three blades created by the rri it's actually the wlt that functions most closely to a traditional laser blade taking the place that the Moonlight would have filled in previous AC titles I took the time to run through a few different missions and combat scenarios using The Moonlight on my left arm and there is absolutely no question as to the level of work it's capable of putting in there's just just something about jetting around and firing off those devastating arcs of energy that is oh so satisfying the first time I let fly with a fully charged attack and saw it cut down an entire row of MTS I had to uh pause the game and go lie down for a few hours it's interesting to compare it to the iterations seen in previous armored Core titles as AC 6's version of the Moonlight is the only one which isn't really a blade in fact unlike the older versions of the weapon the ia1 W1 Moonlight only produces energy waves instead of a solid blade to strike with as far as acquiring it goes the Moonlight can be found in the final mission of chapter 4 Mission 34 reached the coral convergence after the first objective requiring you to deal with the two archbus AC's you'll come across a broken suspension Bridge the Moonlight is in a container underneath the bridge guarded by a few of those sawblade mono wheel MTS they can be a bit tricky but they're nothing compared to the boss at the end of this Mission unfortunately you can't just acquire the blade and quit out as it would be a big help in defeating Mission 34's boss in fact if you think about it it sort of makes sense that the mission where you find the Moonlight is capped off by a fight against the Ibis series series IB 01 C240 as it was also manufactured by the Rubicon Research Institute anyways that's my take on Armored Core 6's iteration of this fromsoft classic while that might not be quite the Ultimate Weapon that it was in previous armored Core titles it is still definitely strong enough for a Podium finish and well worth hunting down to add to your Arsenal I sincerely hope you all enjoyed the video take care until next time this is November Bravo over and out
