Arkham Asylum's Platinum is BOTH AMAZING and RAGE INDUCING

I've recently decided I want a platinum all Batman Arkham games Arkham Asylum Arkham City Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight of course we're starting today with Arkham Asylum originally released 2 days before my birthday in 2009 August 25th this game is just a certified classic a banger a quality game while I did complete it back in the day on the PS3 I never got the Platinum for it but that changes today but of course on the PS5 with the PS4 edition return to Arkham only need to break this one down into Three Steps step one was to complete the game on hard step two was do the riddles and step three was do all combat and Predator challenges so let's jump into it we're going to Chuck it straight on hard that barely even made sense we're going straight in on the hardest difficulty to get those trophies look at that man the darkness they set the scene with so early who cap movement oh no here we go remember this part Joker's loose alert the warden finally some old school okay trophy already yeah that's the combo one let me work on the counters lovely okay so there's no indication for them even on this difficulty M if he sees anyone trying to get close he won't see me oh Batman's so cool eat this zaz boom zaz is down but not for long someone put this animal back shocking rescue take down zaz in the patient pacification chamber really fun start to the game you know like jumping right in taking out zaz I'm pretty sure he comes back but taking him out at the start you know getting used to the combat and to be H without the the counter like marker at the top of the enemy's heads it's not that difficult you just look when they're going to throw a punch it's it's not insanely be fine stay here it's not insanely difficult no you're not no you're not no you're not no you're not there you go going after the animal who did this I got you don't worry buddy Leave No Man Behind rescue the guards and henchmen from The Joker toxin in decontamination okay that that must be missable then I don't think this game had any of those okay let's look I see SI I got to fight who's this who the hell is this oh it's one of these things yeah I forgot about that see it rough okay that's not working okay Mal practice needs more practice survive the UN from the deformed Joker henchman oh finally made it outside oh Batman suits a little bit cut as well here we are awesome Born Free escape the intensive treatment to the island surface so of course I carried on with the story and wow what just an incredible experience this story is if you haven't done it or you haven't done it since like 2009 2010 when this game came out I highly recommend it it still holds up well today it doesn't feel old the story doesn't feel old the gameplay doesn't feel old every boss battle is so unique and so much fun some of them you struggle with more than others I really struggled with Bane but found poison ivy relatively easy I read that other people found that poison ivy on half they just couldn't do so it really is just depends on how you play the game but it was just a fantastic experience to go back and I'm looking forward to the other ones even more I know these Batman platinums can be relatively challenging or at least I've heard through comments or tweets that I've seen when mentioning about possibly doing these in the future you guys have said they're really challenging but honestly I feel like it's worth it cuz the the Batman is so well done in these games the way he fights the way he moves just everything about him so I'm I'm really looking forward to doing the next three games after this but I thoroughly enjoyed this story and really couldn't find anything negative to say about it until later in this video where there are some pretty hefty rages production facility oh I remember this as a kid this got me man this scared the crap out of me as a kid yeah I remember like almost being in tears think at my PlayStation it like had broken yeah okay and this is the Scarecrow thing again I'm pretty sure I'm playing for quite a few hours been absolutely loving it uh still holds up well not even Nostalgia feel just brings me back but it holds up well it's still brilliant to play even even now here we are playing as Joker damn scarecrow's going on inside your head W taking some digs ass just oh my God what I was supposed to dodge that since when okay I don't remember that oh no it was supposed to happen okay I was going to say what the hell these are fun man the like the boss fights are constantly like changing they're mixing it up with every boss I love it I think they this is like how boss battles and gameplay should be fight oh there we go resist the fear conquer the efforts of scarecrow's fear gas all right I think this is it Croc slay yeah I'll I don't remember I don't remember uh much about this I remember struggling though when I was younger oh my God just Croc eat scarecrow oh bro Batman just oh no you didn't save him I was going to say you shouldn't saved him but you didn't but we'll also send sound Oh I thought it was a I thought it was a game of spear I didn't realize that I had to actually think it through that's embarrassing this is feeling tense boys but I reckon I'll be all right get away from me Croc you can't run me all right Batman maybe don't like stop and look you know it's not a tourist attraction it's a Killer Croc go go go go go go go go go go [Music] go okay crocodile tears vent in the Killer Croc's lay and and come out alive oh nice freak Show Rodeo sweet cool nice okay I think this I think we're coming up for the ivy boss fight oh damn it how am I supposed to avoid that is there like an area where there we go yeah you nothing but food got under half Health there though damn it okay no that's me dead Okay damn that's tough I'm like one shot yeah look how close she was as well oh there we go I was going to say no way these guys I got to fight these guys with such low Health let's go boys poison ivy defeat the giant Titan ivy plant let's go good stuff man I had read this was the toughest boss battle in the game when on the hardest difficulty I personally found Bane harder cuz I just obviously I suppose you're pretty new to the game at that point uh but yeah I'm pretty impressed on myself to be honest I thought that would take a lot more attempts so there's a missable trophy here I know for a fact that you have to beat up all the henchmen here and all of the ones in the in the corridor through that door okay that's those guys taken out open door oh God I got to beat all these guys up I got a plan boom there we go party pooper okay all the henchmen celebrating your arrival at the party all right well no cheating and bringing in your boys let's just have a fight me and you in you come boys of course damn it I there we go barely lost any health there lost a small bar that's fine I get out of this I I feel like the second one is the hardest one cuz it's got those guys with the knives in and they completely throw off my my combos every time cuz you have to stun them hell yeah that one was much easier than the second one if I remember Batman does something really sick here with the explosive Gil and I remember this blew my mind as a kid yeah this is so sick ready for the next round always I thought this was so cool never let you win never bang oh that was so cool as a I mean it's still it's still super sick but as a kid that that blew my mind that's all I could think about told all my friends about it and everything there we go big bang complete the story mode on easy Bigger Bang bang complete the story mode on normal biggest bang complete the story mode on hard difficulty let's go Bane been under the water the whole time okay there we go that is the story D Thor really enjoyed it still holds up today game play is great the story is great doesn't waste any time all the boss battles are fun and unique and relatively challenging yeah I enjoy myself so with the story done on high and all the difficulty trophies achieved it was time to crack on with the riddles I already got the trophy for 25% just while playing so obviously I still had 75% left to go honestly this wasn't too bad it was a lot of free roam it was exploring the map eras I hadn't been before of course I had to follow a guide to find things cuz there is so many things that I just would not have been able to find without a guide but it really wasn't too bad it took me the most part of a day but all all in all it really wasn't too difficult my name is Quincy sh I trust that through my writing but now it's time to go on to the combat and Predator challenges now I didn't expect the combat challenges to be this difficult but oh my God they honestly nearly destroyed me I honestly nearly gave up I'm not the best at Batman but it always felt like it was the smallest scrub that completely threw me off it was brutal riddles upgrades character bios done 84% complete time for challenge mode something I did very very very little of back in the day uh when I was younger uh I'm going to give Joker a go as well but I just want to look at the back the armored Batman so this is uh one of the fight ones obiously you got the fight one and then the stealth one we're going to start with the fight one uh even though I'm probably better at stealth to be honest ah messed that up by not aiming it in the correct direction to him lovely these are fun and the armored Batman looks sick he looks really sick need to moreen ah come on no way I messed that up oh he hit me damn I got a bit lazy there so you win again how many rounds are there while you've been fighting rounds everyone you love I think one thing that I'm going to have to get used to at least for for just a little while is um how much easier the combat feels like right now the combat feels aund times easier than it does while while I was playing the story cuz obviously I was on hard whereas now it feels like it's so forgiven damn it no way I aimed the wrong direction bro ah no I'm choking it here there we go I did it so you can mess up a few times that's cool I'm sure in the later ones I need to be perfect but I feel like I'm getting the grips of it but there we go 18,000 that's three stars or three bats all right uh now time for a stealth one but the fastest P 17 seconds I have no intention to doing it fast I'm going to take my time I want to see which ones I find easier and then I'm going to do them ones last might as well get this guy with this as I can there we go the last guy I need I need to get a stealth Tak down like a proper stealth takedown with against there we go I knew that i' I'd do better at the stealth side of things that's all three objectives done now I just need to finish taking these guys out bang lovely and that's all three objectives done took six minutes but stealth is my is my realm I love it I love a bit of stealth oh I did it oh let's go nice first attempt on that one let's go is there another round or is that only four so you win again it's a shame while you've been I've oh no only four damn it achieve eight medals on combat challenges nice but we need to replay it so the guys with the knife man and the guys are the taser that do my melanin now while I did have some early success in these combat challenges and got a couple of trophies along the way there were some pretty intense rages now often I don't like to show my rages but a lot of the time you guys say that you enjoy seeing them for some reason I think there something to do with enjoying seeing me suffer but I generally started to question if maybe I was just too old and I just didn't have it anymore [Music] oh breathe I will not hit things God oh I'm so this game oh my God I'm I'm so bad there's no way this is supposed to be this difficult but after some rages I took the night off I said you know what that's enough I'm going to take the KN spend it with my fiance yes guys she is real trust me and I carried on the next day and after that break I just found my stride and I just absolutely obliterated these challenges I I just didn't struggle the way I was the night before I think it's cuz I obviously played for like eight or N9 hours the day before but the next morning I was just on one boys I was burning through those combat challenges got them all then I went onto the stealth challenges absolutely smashed them I mean stealth is my realm so these really weren't a challenge for me I was happy to obviously restart these stealth ones a couple of times you know kind of survey the map and then restart it and then carry on but the longest one I think was maybe 10 minutes but I really enjoyed this part of the challenges it's a shame that while youve been so we're now on to the last uh Predator Challenge on Extreme and then we'll have all the medals we should also get the the perfect night Trophy and there's one more thing I need to do for the Platinum that I'm going to do right away at the start of this oh Batman should catch this there we go catch catch a batle rang God I found someone over here what happened to you okay we might have it this time possibly ah there we go hello hello Batman respond oh my God this game just has no control over itself it's honestly it nice oh there we go Predator gold achiev 24 medals on Predator challenges perfect night 100% complete and platinum trophy platinum trophy to the point I suppose Platinum 143 and according to my Playstation it be 23 hours to do the Platinum all in all a brilliant game the story is tons of fun the challenge mode hence the title is challenging I really wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do the free flow stuff really really was tough but it's a good challenge like it's good that it's not just like you know like a give me Platinum it is a good challenge but I I generally believe anybody can do it if I can do it I generally believe anybody can do it I'm never the best at any game uh I was definitely tempted to give up on some of the tougher ones especially the one called Shock and a I thought that's me done but I want to get this Platinum I want to do uh all the other Batman games as well uh so I'm looking forward to that but I thought we start with Arkham Asylum obviously being the first one and I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed myself man like you know I played it so many years ago on the PlayStation 3 and yeah it was a really really fun uh really fun Platinum so hope you guys enjoyed it I want to say thank you for all the support on the Assassin's Creed Mirage Platinum uh that was another fun game and you guys really enjoyed that video and yeah I'm going to be cracking on with the other Batman games I got some other ones here and there to do and obviously I want to do Spider-Man 2 as well but anyways thank you always for watching and I'll catch you guys in the next one peace
