ARK SURVIVAL ASCENDED HOW TO TAME A GIANT QUEEN BEE

hey everybody how's it going I'm Seth welcome back to another video folks today in the short video I'm going to show you everything that you need to know with regards to taming a giant B in Arc survival ascended first things first this is what it looks like when it has been tamed so it looks like a beehive you can place this anywhere in your base both on foundations as well as on the ground you will also need of course a ghilly suit this will help you to get close to the queen bee to feed it as preferred kibble or in the case that you don't have a kibble you can also do the rare flowers you will need a bug repellent and of course you will need to consume this and this will help you get close to the queen bee as you can see there in my hot bar on the Zero St I have the simple kibble and we're going to use C4 for this of course we're also going to need a few grappling hooks so over here as you can see basically it is a passive tame so we will need to put it in your zero slot bar and then get close to the queen bee and then of course spam e to tment now in front of me um you can see that I've got a redwood tree they do spawn in the Redwoods here on the island and so what we're going to do here uh first things first make sure the area is clear and we're going to use a grappling hook to get close to it you can use other methods but the idea here is you have to destroy the Beehive to get the queen be out uh the best most effective way to do it is of course with the C4 now c4 can be found in drops so it is fairly easy to come by you can use a rocket but it takes a couple of hits and with each hit you will get worker Beast coming out so definitely C4 is the best you can use a Rex or a flyer to damage it but it's just a bit more fiddly I just find that the C4 is the most effective way too C4 should be enough to destroy the hive when the hive is destroyed you will see that the bees will fall to the ground and amongst the bunch of bees you will find one that is larger that is normally the Queen B I'm just going to move this guy about cuz he's kind of in the way and and uh so it's left click to place the C4 and right click to detonate it so let's go we're going to detonate this C4 that I've placed okay oh accidentally placed a another C4 on the ground we're just going to move back from it try and get a bit of a good view there we go and you can see them coming down I've already applied the bug repellent so I'll just get close to it spam El like mad and here we go they normally come at level seven and uh it doesn't really matter the level because you will use them to turn them into hives and for that of course they will produce honey uh as long as you put rare flowers in the hive now occasionally you will see this happen where they just seem to fly or fall to the ground if that is a case you can take advantage of it and just walk up to it and just T them up this is a very rare occurrence but it does happen I think it is a a bit of a bug where the hive does just kind of demolish them now in my case here I've got two of the bees and one is aggroed or something's wrong with it or it's bugged out because I cannot actually feed it anymore kibble uh potentially what I'm guessing here has happened is that it's bugged out it is AG onto me um which is a bit of a bummer but it does happen now as a separate note I'm going to show you something that's going to happen here um normally what I showed you at the beginning of the video should work but sometimes you will find hives that are glitched in a way that um The Hive is too far into the trunk of the redwood tree and as you can see we don't have a giant B falling into the ground uh B basically what's happened is as far as I'm seeing here is that the queen bee is stuck into the mesh of the tree um so do be prepared I've showed you both cases that can happen the at least as far as I've seen and once you have your beehive you just place it down onto the ground by putting it on your action bar you want to demolish it you will have the Queen B you can have a look at it or you can go close to it press e to pick it up and it will become a beehive again and that's pretty much it uh as long as you put flowers in it you will get onhe back with that being said and done that is pretty much it for this video folks I do hope that you found it useful and informative if you have please don't forget to support me in the channel by hitting that like button share comment and subscribe and of course as always until next time stay safe folks
