hi welcome to Yogi's home I post new videos every Tuesday and mostly Thursdays today I'm going to be sharing with you six ways that you know that you're a Dutch man so that sounds good to you why don't you come on in kick off your shoes and stay a while I'm really glad you're here you guys before we get into it let's talk about the Dutch word of the day now the Dutch word of the day is gonna be the word for man which although it's spelled the same it's pronounced Mun so not man it's month and I'm kind of giggling behind the scenes dan and I were having a conversation about what the Dutch word of the day should be and the word that I wanted it to be dan said no we use the English word for that so the alternate word of the day okay the alternative word of the day which hey and it's also still you're still learning that it's a Dutch word even though the English word is sexy I am a happily married lady these are just like you know jokes okay okay you guys before we actually get into the video today I just wanted to say like I make these videos for fun and for you guys to be entertained if you're watching my videos for the first time just just know like I'm not thinking that every Dutch man has all of these characteristics and these are only Dutch or you know that I'm missing some things just like for a feel-good wholesome fun content then you all can enjoy okay all that said let's do this so the first way that you know that you are a Dutch man is because neither the weather nor the distance is gonna prevent you or discourage you from taking your bike where you need to go okay Dutch men are like wizards on freaking bikes you'll use them if it's insane there will be like a hundred kilometer and our wind storms rain and be pouring down like the heavens have opened and yet such guys are like doo doo doo doo doo doo I'm a badass on a bike that's that's that's how I envision what's going on in your brain as you cycle through all of this is that you're thinking I'm a badass on a bike because you know what huh you are okay you are number two the number two way that you know you're a Dutch man is if you wear your hair long it's probably curly and you probably wear it slicked back with a lot of hair gel here are some samples of the hairstyle that I'm referring to it is definitely something that I see a lot of Dutch men wearing and even in like very professional roles or like very high-level jobs and things you will see man with long hair which I actually really love you know I think it's bull that in a lot of other countries men are required to have like short hair I personally myself like a man with long hair messy kind of like hair and I really like that you do see men like that in the Netherlands with you know rocking their long hair so number three and this kind of relates back to number one about bikes but the thing is that Dutchman are literally like you see them in a full suit tie jacket trousers like a full like very classy suit you can see that they're going to like some kind of high level job or whatever and they're just like do their bag it's no problem because they're just like yeah it's amazing you see so many men with suits I think even here like the the mayor of Amsterdam is riding around on a bike or certainly of the hey Dad can you put some other famous politicians or something here let's see a bunch of like famous people are there pictures of the king riding his bike in his suit like I wouldn't be surprised seriously I would not be surprised so yeah suits plus bikes are absolutely normal here you can totally wear them and I don't know like when I think of you know an American guy on a bike I would think somebody like like maybe a California guy like riding in the shorts and his flip-flops like going on a bike like for you know recreation I don't know like my first thought wouldn't be of like a man in a suit riding his bike in the States or in any other country but that is very much something that I think of here when I think of Dutchman number four okay the fourth way that you know that you are a Dutch man cuz this list is is the only way to do it okay there's no other way that you're gonna know you're a Dutch man I'm joking but the fourth way is that you probably make your own lunch to take to work with you why is this unused in my culture okay in Serbian culture so I'm American Serbian whatever but in the Serbian culture I don't know many men that like enter into the kitchen space at all let alone know how to put food together for themselves so the fact that a Dutch man is not relying on his wife or his partner or his girlfriend or his mother or whatever to make all his food for him is pretty cool okay like what up that's pretty awesome but also the fact that you are making it for yourself and taking it to work is is cold there are lots of companies or jobs where they offer you food for like as part of one of the things like your lunch is included in your job in that case probably you're not making your lunch but if you don't have an employer that is providing your meals you are most likely making it yourself and that's cool number 5 this way that you know that you are a Dutch man because you know your citizenship doesn't count you're the language that you speak doesn't count it's my list only the fifth way is that you most likely have some kind of sport hobby instrument or some kind of club that you are going to once a week yeah it's either at like a football club and you're gonna go play with your mates or you're playing an instrument you're part of a band you're doing something but you have something most likely it's also during the week so it would be like one weeknight a week so one night per week that is a weeknight you are gonna go off and spend it doing your hobby sport recreation whatever it is that you're into so that is pretty typical here yay good job like good job you're doing good you're doing good does if you need my reassurance you don't cuz you're probably also very like secure and calm which is a great characteristic hello yeah you don't need me to tell you what it would have awesome man you are know every last one number six okay number six probably you've been waiting this whole video for me to say that's fun right I'm pretty sure you know what we're thinking shall we say it together three two one tall did you see so did you do it cuz that's definitely Dutch men are the tallest in the world so most likely if you are a Dutch man you're most likely tall and relating back to our alternate Dutch word of the day that is pretty slightly yeah yeah no it was I can totally see I mean very tall fit guys and that is like really something that I think also I think of men being blond hair not that everyone is blonde it's not that like a dark blonde that is really more what I'm thinking but that's I I don't know what I'm talking about that now I just not on my list being blonde is not on my list tall yeah for sure um a lot of Dutch men are very tall and that's pretty attractive to women all across the globe so alright you guys those are my six ways that you know that you are a Dutch man let me know how else do you
