Are Poopsie Rainbow Surprise Dolls Worth It?

keep going I think his paper cut my chin heyday but I'm back and today we're gonna be checking it with the rainbow surprise dolls by poopsie see right there but Before we jump into that I'm gonna check out something else and give you a little bonus review now you might remember a few months ago I checked out the lucky fortune where your luck bracelets and if you didn't see that review I will leave a link in the description down below in case you want to check it but if you don't that's fine I'll just get to the point and tell you that I really did like them I thought they were super cute and that they would make a great gift to give to a friend or put in loot bags all that great stuff so a few weeks ago when the company messaged me asking if I'd like to check out their new lucky fortune BFF items I said sure because I like seeing what's new from things that I've liked in the past did they get better what do they offer now all that great stuff so they sent me this package and this is what I'm gonna be checking out as a really quick and I'm not joking a really quick review for you guys because sadly it's not a new product and had I known that I would have said no only because I've already reviewed this basically this time around they are giving us two of the exact same fortune cookie making it perfect to give to your best friend almost exactly like buying a set of friendship bracelets wait that's exactly what it is almost exactly like buying a set of friendship necklaces you get one and you know that your bestie gets an identical one so instead of going out and wasting your money buying blind bag after blind bag hoping that you and your best friend get the exact same one they now offer a two pack so I anticipate that it's gonna be the exact same quality which is what we're gonna check out right now but the BFF line is legit just a twofer okay so here's the clear tub that they sent me there's a card on top and there's a bunch of stuff inside which includes some really pretty iridescent ribbons which I'm a super fan of because they're beautiful on top there's this little card that says grab your bestfriend take out your camera and start recording well check check and on my own best friend today cuz this is a one lady show next we'll open the box take out our stuff and go from there so the first item in my box is this white card and I'll get to decorate this and put a photo of me and my BFF aka me inside it and because they didn't want me to decorate with my imagination they've given me some pink green gold and silver glitter glue can be super snazzy they've also given me a bee theft bucket-list I'm supposed to write down all the adventures or things that I want to accomplish with my best friend and check them off as I do them but because I'm my own BFF today I'll just have to make some stuff up for myself and check them off as I complete those and if for some reason you're super interested to see what I come up with I'll take a picture and upload it to Instagram once I filled it out next up is my first BFF pack and now you can see what I mean it is the exact same product we had in the past it's just now we will get to but one difference I am noticing right away is that there are double dipped colors so these ones here are pink and purple they've also sent one more set and these ones are purple and teal and they're actually really cute and they remind me of my pastel shirt and lastly we sent a matching set of gold heart pins with an X and O on the front yeah that's it now I think I'm gonna go with the pink and purple set now like I said I did check these out in the past but in case you didn't see that video or don't care to go watch it or have forgotten I will do a quick recap this is the BFF series of the lucky fortune where your luck bracelets are recommended for children over the age of 6 and definitely not for children under 3 because they do contain small parts each of these specific BFF packs will include two fortune cookies with bracelets inside as well as a paper fortune teller which if you aren't aware is basically a cootie catcher now I did double-check but there was no mention of a price for the new series in the Box they sent but a quick search online tells me that it's $6.99 u.s. and available at Target Walmart and on Amazon now since in Canada everything is usually double that I'm gonna say this is probably about 13 dollars if you live here whenever you find it and now we can open here is my fortune teller and it does look different from the one we got last time on the back you can see all the different charms that are available this series so to be fair they are in fact different which is actually quite a bummer because I was really hoping to finally get that little Gameboy because I still haven't but they do look pretty cute so not the end of the world next up are my fortune cookies they are identical one purple side one pink side tan cookie and the little string so you can attach this to a keychain if you want to now the instructions say to give them a little clicky Cheers because you and your BFF do that with cookies obviously and yeah that's what I'm gonna do Cheers I'm gonna pull it out here's my fortune I'll read it in a sec good on my bracelet this is hard I did it alright here we go hmm very nice first up we have a yellow corded bracelet with a gold fortune cookie on the bottom to help it cinch around your wrist and the charm is a Purple Heart with a glittery front and it says BFF written in gold and now what's my fortune says you're my best friend forever that's not a fortune now we'll see if the second bracelet matches this one says you're my sweetest BFF also not a fortune what time for my song again do you love how it gets gradually worse as you keep singing alright at least for me it is anyways my second bracelet because I'm a loser on my own does in fact match the first except this time we've got a purple bracelet and a glittery yellow heart Clack teal and that's the end of the BFF bracelets in the end just like before I do still like them I think they're super adorable and the fact that you can get a set of matching bracelets for you and your friend is really great especially because we all know how expensive it gets when you're trying to collect a certain something in blind bags so if you really like the lucky fortune bracelets and you want you and your friend to have a matching set then I definitely recommend picking up the BFF series it's not as cool as I wanted to be hey and bonus if you really want it you can have a super large pair of earrings ah I'm done alright oh no it's actually stuck okay okay don't hang things off your earrings you could rip holes in your ears and now we can check out our dolls now back to what I was saying at the beginning of the video maybe that's today we're gonna check out the rainbow surprise today we're gonna be checking out the rainbow surprise dolls brought to us by poopsie here is one in my hand I picked this up for $80 Canadian was it $80 I don't know hold on let me see how many do I pay I may have gone a little crazy at Toys R Us okay as you can see these cost $80 each in Canada before tax and like a crazy person I bought two and I also spent one hundred and ten dollars on a poopsie makeup kit which is a whole of crazy amount of nuts that I will explain in another video but today our focus is on this doll now in the States I believe these retail for around $60 and so far I only seem to find them on Amazon so I'm not sure where else we'll get them or already has them so if you have that info feel free to share it below now as you can see there is more than one doll shown on the package which means this is in fact a blind surprise and that $80 I really think that that's ridiculous we should be guaranteed to get the doll we want but because that's not a thing and I was hoping to at least get to check out two different dolls with various accessories I grabbed two today and that's where I'm capping it and now that I've complained just a smidgen we'll check out the package so we can open it up I found the tear strip so let's go oh that almost worked oh why can't things ever rip pretty for me over 20 surprises and here's our first one these are socks second we have a bottle next up is the jacket and some shoes is not gonna lie they actually feel like platform boots I might have to make some little goldfish to stick in them there's our 14 inch doll wait does that just reveal who it was but then it says curse and I don't have a purse unless that's my purse slime jelly shimmer powders and then lastly a comb so here are all my surprises excluding one that just fell on the floor and we're gonna be checking these out closer on the table just dropped in another but first before we do that we need to open our doll to see who we got first I'm gonna say this is a really cute case I really do love that they decorate the outside but I'm still having a hard time finding a use for them with all these cutouts unless we open it out completely flat making this the wall and then use these as shelves I think that's all that I can come up with because you can't really do anything else with them where do you get to see first 3 2 1 1 something felt I think was the handle what doll is it he's at the pink girl is the big girl okay she looks really cool but I'm not gonna be the easiest thing to play with I feel like this is more decorative she's very stiff inside there is rainbow highlighter we can't use it flat because it opens whoa we've got instructions for days it looks like we're gonna be building some kind of rocket ship and then we've got our super big doll I'll just pop out the easy things I suppose a coffee everywhere be right back I am back I've cleaned the coffee it smells great in here by the way but I'm back all right try that again here is my poopsie cup it's pink with embedded glitter in the plastic next we have a silver unicorn spoon and then our doll which is very safely attached to the plastic some of these scissors take her out and come right back here is pixie Rose out of the box she's got light and dark pink hair with some blondes and pastel orange and it's really pretty well but a lot of it a lot of it is coming off it's also very choppy it looks as though it was meant to be a layered hairstyle I have seen worse but I have seen much better especially at that price now I will let you know it is very very soft and silky so I am a fan of that and it's got more than 11 rows of routing it kind of goes around her head for quite a while before filling out the back and overall the quality of it is very very nice we'll check out her body and outfit in a minute but basically pixie Rose has a pale complexion with light brown eyebrows and various shades of purple and blue for her eyes when it comes to her makeup it's actually pretty toned down excluding the massive black lashes she's got light pink eye shadow with white spots drawn on light blue under her eyes soft pink blushing on her cheeks with white spots and stars I when it comes to her lips they are very big and full with a glossy pink top and more of a nude on the bottom with just a hint of pink she's also got pretty defined ears and her head does rotate completely around moving on to her body it is a very stiff it reminds me of the old Barbies used to get at the dollar store that are hollow and plastic and you could squeeze them but this is a much better quality she comes wearing a white t-shirt covered in silver polka dots and then a light pink spaghetti-strap dress that's got white green blue and yellow little stars on it as well as a clear vinyl top so far it looks like her arms can go up and down as well as side to side like a bird hee hee hee hee and her legs do the same at her hips and those are the only places of movement so none at the elbow or wrist knee or foot and I'm just gonna quickly check the quality of her actual garments to see what they're like before we move on the stitching is really really nice I don't see anything coming off and it feels like a good quality which is a good thing because we're Souls people fill it with slime and if it had big holes or gaps in it then that would just ooze out all so now that I've opened it I can see her shirt is separate from her dress so if you want to mix and match with other dolls who might have skirts you can get a new look so while I'm here I'm gonna point out that she is wearing painted on undies and also if we go to the front you'll see that they cover her completely and they have straps so this means the oMG dolls could have done it too because they're made by the same company and for those of you who think it's weird that I check those things I do as thorough of a review that I can so that if anyone asks those questions they already have the answer so if you think it's weird I'm sorry but I look at literally everything now that I've checked her out we can go down to the table open her accessories make some slime stuff it in and see her final look here's my doll and as you can see she would have been way too large to show her off over here which is why we did it on camera and now we can start opening up our blind bags the packaging is really pretty I'm hoping I can find a use for this after first up I have a purse which actually looks like it's gonna double as a cup I mean there's no rule that says we can't use it as one so I just might we've got a translucent pink cup with embedded glitter and it says far too stinky strawberry on the front it's got an opaque pearly white lid a see-through green plastic straw with embedded glitter and a silver strap next step are my socks they're long and white with pastel blue and pink stripes along the top and now I'll just add them to her feet one and two number three our jockey and this looks pretty cool it's completely see-through and vinyl with pink sleeves and a collar as well as a silver zipper but that's just for show because there's no actual zipper pull and then each side of the chest has a little zipper on the bottom where we'll be able to shove some slime inside to create our own look for the doll it's gonna be hard to tell whether or not this is a good quality item without holes until we put the slime in but so far it looks like it's nicely attached instead of putting this on my doll right now I'll wait till we have some slime ready so we can fill it up and see what it looks like number four we've got platformer rollerskates I was right I did feel a very big heel interestingly enough these are not quads they have three wheels which are glittery and pink and they have pink stars on the side which matches this pearly pink rubbery boot area on top and you'll notice that the heel is see-through and Hollow and that's because we'll be able to pop off the top to put some slime inside number five it's a thin pink comb with a star moon and hearts along the side and it actually looks like the rainbow on the package that drips slime here's the final blind bag which is our bottle it's a pop can it says Sparkle free Sparkle free Sparkle free fart it's hot pink with a pearly silver top and bottom as well as a see-through pink plastic straw with imbedded glitter and instead of pulling off the top we pull off the bottom to mix our slime in and shake it up that's interesting and make our slime we're gonna be using this stuff actually not the highlighter I'll save that for my daughter we'll just take one of these and then once it's ready we'll add either magic Sparkle or shimmer usually you'd be able to set your cup down and rest it carefully while you're making this but since ours is on the bottom and they've added a straw that's not really possible I don't know how I'm supposed to open my powder when I'm holding this upright but we'll figure it out first step is to take your cup and then you'll fill it with water twice to this line and then each time just dump it inside your bottle and pour in your slime powder one oh that just got tricky on me alright how's that plan - to be honest this can is really cute but it definitely needed to just be able to open from the top because now I got a MacGyver this part and in goes my powder I'm gonna screw on my top aka bottom and then shake this up and down for one minute now we just have to let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes so that it can become an actual slime okay I've got all my stuff again got my rollerskates ready and this slime seems pretty thick right now oh gosh it's super goopy but once I add the shimmer it'll probably thicken up because it's been 20 minutes and it's not ready yet so this is what I'm working with oh this is so sketchy I'm gonna use that to hold it support it ha ha who's a clever girl I am Horan of the shimmer now I'm gonna take my spoon and mix a mix and mix it in ooh that looks disgusting ooh and the worst part is that I don't even have it all I'm just gonna keep mixing this until it gets a little quicker yeah it's still gross it needs more something stay stay stay that's weird I definitely didn't expect her to get blue heart sequins oh this is what my slime is now looking like it's still very very goopy but it's much easier to handle and it actually looks quite pretty it's light pink and pearly with glitter all through it and then those bright blue heart sequins now I'm not sure if it's meant to be a random Sparkle pack this is just what we got or if it's meant to be suited to each doll style and we got given one that would be better suited to the blue doll that I don't have either way it ended up looking pretty and now I'm going to try to put some in her roller skates and her jacket fYI this slime took way longer than they said it would and it stinks give me those blades you get in there mm stuck to me it looks like she wasn't bubblegum I feel like I say that every time I want it to go down her heel but once it sections and toots its way down its suction as its way out my hands are disgusting and I have one roller skate done whoo let's do it again the hardest part is filling up the heel there you can poke it down with scissors okay that works a little great I'm a genius we've got do roller skates and now I'm gonna try to put a small amount in each side of her jacket which is very hard to open and when you think you don't have enough it's more than enough and there's my jacket so it took quite a bit of time to get the jacket and the roller skates filled without it popping out or not missing all the nooks and crannies but in the end it looks really neat and I think the fact that you can make slime as many times as you want and refill this is kind of a cool idea because that means technically you can change the look of what your doll is wearing as many times as you want as long as you change the color or style of your slime now I'm just gonna quickly wash my hands and clean up my space so that I could try this on my doll without staining her clothes with this glitter and pigment oh goodness as you put them on slime squeezes out of the side well more squeeze again less is more folks time for my second one now she is even taller but the skates do let her stand unassisted which is pretty cool she looks like a giant now I'm gonna put on her coat but I think to do that we have to put her hands behind her and it's on and more slime has squeezed out because of the pressure of pushing down on her cuz she's under pressure here she is she's completely dressed and now she's got her little furtive Percel with her I did learn one thing from setting up her roller skates and that is that even if it doesn't look full it's probably more than full because this is how much has come out of the skates since I put them on her basically any time she moves more squeezes out like now even when she's not moving this is exciting next alright I was actually kind of fun time for doll number two and fingers crossed it is anyone but pixie Rose she was great and all but we need a second doll so I did my best to pick a different doll cover you may not have noticed but the first one had purple and blue hair this one here specifically has blue hair so basically this is blue skies' head but that doesn't really mean anything these are the socks bottle jacket shoes purse jellies just so you guys know I'm kidding it's only slime I'm just reading the French part after cuz it's fun Stein is you Leigh I'm not friend I don't keep it going keep it going I think this paper cut my chin our shimmer and sparkle and magic and then our comb and finally our doll I don't want to spill any coffee this time make up highlighter fell out here's the thing right there goes the handle again who is it she different yes a bride we got blue sky who's gonna go ahead and take her out and struggle on my own because that last one took about six minutes so I'll be right back here is blue sky and oh my goodness if she isn't the most gorgeous gorgeous beautiful doll I've ever seen she's got three or four different shades of blue for her hair which is styled in these big beachy waves and it works so well with her light brown skin complexion oh my goodness if I had hair like that I'd be jealous of myself and her hair honestly feels a lot thicker than pixie roses did but it might just feel that way because of the beachy waves however I just want to point out that the hairstyle looks a lot nicer this time around I mean I just messed it up a bit but it does and I was gonna tie her hair up once again so we could check out with her face and makeup even cuter oh my gosh I want his hair zooming in isn't she pretty she's got black eyebrows with blue highlights various shades of blue for her eyes her makeup is a bit more flashy than pixie Rose's was but I really really like it she's got very light blue eye shadow with shiny glitter on top thick bold black mascara with light blue eye shadow beneath her eyes light pink blushing on her cheeks and glossy full pink lips with a bit of a darker pink lip liner to make them stand out moving down to her body it's the exact same as pixie Rose but now you can see it better since she's not wearing a t-shirt her arms go up and down back and forth all around all that great stuff and her legs just go back and forth she's got a two-piece matching outfit it's light blue with little clouds all over it some are happy and some are angry it's actually super cute and if you're noticing that slight sparkle it's because there are clear sequins and only the bottom has that clear plastic vinyl that will be able to fill with the slime moving to the back we can quickly check out her velcro this one seems pretty good there's a little bit of loose thread at the bottom which I will cut off so that it prevents it from pulling but other than that it looks okay here's our little plastic zipper where we'll put the slime in her skirt and now we'll check that the velcro on the inside and it looks pretty good and she's got blue underwear and there you go that's our doll now let's open her accessories make her slime and dress her up once again I'm just going to take my cup and set the slime making materials to the side so we can jump straight into the outfits purse and bottle this is so pretty first up we have some super high platform boots the bottoms are Hollow and see-through of course for our slime to go inside and the tops are pearly blue rubber with super glittery dark blue laces you've even got little stitching along the sides if I were to wear these I would legitimately fall and break both my ankles second is our purse and this one looks like a Pepsi can it's blue red and white and says poopsie and then we've got a little poopsie QT 2 T winking at us the top bottom and strap are all silver and we've got a see-through plastic blue straw with embedded glitter and it looks like it can open there you go so we can store some slime in here too wait a minute did the Ferda one open I'm pretty sure it did but I don't even know if I tried ha ha it did that's actually a dirt well moving on the third blind bag has a really cute pale blue pleather jacket with see-through vinyl sleeves it's even got this cute little faux belt with a silver buckle and once again there are the little plastic zippers on each side of the front of the jacket so we can put some slime in can I check to see what the quality is like it all seems pretty good and to be honest this is super cute I would totally wear this in real life next up we're gonna get this little guy back here what fourth blind bag oh those are cute it matches her outfit they're white and silky with little yellow lightning bolts all over who's gonna quickly put those on my doll these ins don't really go on here they're too tight oh no it's starting to stretch all right I got them if you turn your doll upside down and very firmly but slowly pull it down like this you can get them on without ripping them just be super duper careful this fifth bag I think is the comb because it's super flat and it is and it looks exactly the same as the one pixie Rose had except it's blue and lastly our bottle which is most likely a soda can and it was right it is a soda can this one is all blue with little white stars all over it and in big white letters it says stinks nada I think it's supposed to be like sprite it's got a little yellow and green poop right on top this one has a see-through yellow with embedded glitter a silver top and a silver bottom which is of course where we're gonna twist it off to make our slime really wish they had just twisted off the top there's no reason that it couldn't have they just wanted me to be annoyed I guess all right let's make some slime one two little silver packages have tear strips but not really brave enough to rip that off when I only have one hand so I shall snip it instead ooh looks like it's gonna be blue there you go twist on the lid and now we'll just shake for one minute and now it rests for 15 to 20 here we go it is slime time I'm going to open this and show you this slime but I'm not gonna lie it was over activated so I took it out and instead of tossing it and starting again I actually added some lotion which not only made it a really nice perfect stretchable consistency which I am now loving but it also added a really yummy chocolate smell so that's a real bonus I'm also not sure if there is any pigments or anything in my lotion but my slime has this really pearly finish to it now that I don't want to ruin so instead of using some big tacky sequins I think I'm just gonna add a little bit of glitter and hope it doesn't ruin it too much oh it's pretty okay okay I'm getting all brave and stuff over here opens a bit more than a bit you know what guys I actually fully recommend letting your poopsie slimes over activate and then just adding some lotion this makes better slime than theirs by itself that is a really nice slime all right I'm just gonna put some inside her boots and it looks like we have a bigger space to work with for her hopefully it's not gonna overflow on me that's one no or spill beautiful and - perfect now just add some to the jacket and she's good to go and then we just need a little bit on this side get in there put her little belt back through and that color turned out so nice now I just got to get her dressed look at that and I totally forgot that we could put some in her skirt same with fixie rose we can put some in her dress not gonna lie I don't really want to make any more slime right now though for the purposes of today's video we're just gonna do the jackets and the Jews cuz I completely forgot about that anyhow time she put on her jacket oh my gosh she looks so fabulous and then I just recommend bringing her arms back to the front carefully just so that it doesn't stretch or warp the vinyl because it seems to pull it under her armpits oh my gosh that outfit is actually super super cute I would totally wear it oh she needs her purse hey girl my purse event in your verse here are the finished looks for both of my dolls excluding slime in their skirts and dress because I remembered that a little too late in the end I'm quite pleased with them I think their hair is amazing their makeup looks great and their fashions are really cool even if I thought that they would be a little strange initially and the biggest problem I had today was with the bottle I feel that there's no reason they couldn't have made the top screw off because having it upside down is just begging for trouble it was very difficult to hold this and pour water in as well as the packet and not have it spill everywhere which is why I should've just screwed off at the top in the first place other than that though everything else was pretty great and that's it okay guys that is the end of the rainbow surprise dolls happily I got two from the series and technically if I really felt like spending another hundred and eighty some odd dollars I could go back and hopefully get the other two but I'm not gonna push my life in the end I really did enjoy these dolls I feel like they're more for display than they are for play but then again you can realistically
