salad because whenever I go hiking it's good at all green onions that is what's here oh my god is so big what did you get I got the Chinese chicken salad that's the worst one no it's good it's the worst one why why is it the best first of all it's Chinese chicken salad which is totally racist what it has one Chinese people don't eat salad guys okay that's not that's not in Chinese cuisine I good spread of Asian people the number one Asian stereotype is Asians are good at math is that true for us by I'm split weights all you need you mean like fractions wise or hahahaha I did skip a grade not oh my gosh you're perpetuating stereotypes on being smart and since it's grade I tested out of sixth grade math and in December about so after that I was always a grade above but you're still the same grade though I was in the same grade but my math classes were always with upperclassmen and then when I was in eighth grade and had to go to high school for math I was very scared because I wasn't a freshman kid but that all went out the other side of my head and it's gone so I'm very bad about now so is that true or false like I don't know you you kind of perpetuate it's kinda good yeah I couldn't get into math honors little life at me and my mom took me to numerous matters and I just like I just couldn't I tried and I couldn't so I fully gave him a math by senior year but everyone was like everyone was doing like a peak Alec Alec and I did stats which was still hard with it but I think I got like my first C my first C ever came to me because of precalc I'm really definitely not good at math what about you math was my best subject Hey dang it but I don't feel good about is not guilty I think that stereotype that Asians are good or not is more to say Asia's put a lot of focus on education and that comes from our parents so I don't think it's necessarily that quiet I'm at we're just studious that's specifically is math and science because parents see math and science as universal languages like they came here as immigrants so to them English is like it doesn't make sense but they're like you can definitely get a job give you know math or science those are the keys to becoming yeah doctor lawyer the best ones right now because doctor it's really bad a jam house comes down to jobs well security that's what they want it for so now we know that - you're good at math too bad I'm at number two most popular Asian stereotype Asians are bad drivers hmm specifically Asian women look I think that's wholly wrong I think oh we're not a driver oh just kidding yes that's too easy I was logged up come on guys can we joke no not actually I think ages are the best drivers because if you ever tried driving Asia you gotta be really good at that and you have all like the drift games and stuff and you know those racers um I want to say that Christine is a decent driver you take that back right now I'm the best driver out of all of them oh my god I don't know I know well we've got the speed similarly I'm the best driver out of it you are not the best drivers if you guys don't fire chili guys I'm the best driven okay first of all that's really where I Trump you is that I can drive manual and I Drive it pretty easily if you drove my manual car and I always sided because there's my like I don't get to practice in it when you first drove it was pretty bad you well we know that is pointless terrible analogy because when I Drive automatic I Drive better than you she really thinks that she's the best driver and I give her merit I think you're second place close up like close behind me tell me why you think you're the best driver well to me driving is not just the actual driver there's also driving intelligence so anything it's about it's about knowing knowing your surroundings as you drive and also knowing where you're going and how to get there the best way I learned the freeways of LA and I learned the exits that's me that's what makes a good stereotype but it's because it is deeply rooted in our in our culture that's not a bad thing it's not nothing actually don't mind if people assume that I'm like like a really good fighter killer you know that be also why that one like because it's a couple of students you're a good at math would you be okay with 50 have you okay with that because it's a positive stereotype positive but benefits you okay right but once once they use that positive stereotype to Cajun homie then I'm like ah I do more than throw punches I like this Ellen this is an epic this is my best karate move I think like they're all positive and then but then they're using negatively against us like no one no one like praises you for being like well you're gonna match that we go get hot you're a nerd it's not a difference no I think I don't think that's where the issue is I think it's whenever you're using one group and you're saying everyone is like that then you're stripping them up there and your blanket statement over everyone that's that's the issue for stereotype there is I mean I feel like because of Hollywood and just like not seeing a lot of Asian men in front of camera as like romantic leads like the Asian men are kind of emasculated that is a stereotype definitely a stereotype I mean do you guys feel that as Asian guys I think it's okay to have that out there that there are these types of Asian men by the same time I think my pawn with is that Hollywood only only shows that type when there's a lot of other types of Asian guys out there that are you know really desirable really romantic and no one gets to see that America just sees one type of Asian guy which is yet more masculine and that's not fair and not only that but like the Asian community only sees one type of Asian guy you know I mean put on mainstream media and that's and that's really what it comes down to it because I think Asians coming up in this community it's about identifying with someone in the media and it is a variety of people Asian men masculine effeminate then there's a variety of people that they can identify with and grow into so I find all in German sexy okay not all majority I like everyone in the college your fetishizing internship well we hope that we gave you guys a sample of what makes when we think obviously our opinions are not all-encompassing about Asians there's many types of asian-americans or Asian whatever is on the world don't just basically just don't stereotype you know you never know yeah every person is it and we need to support more diverse salads so
