[Music] well hello hello hello and welcome back to creative shop this video is sponsored by utsource.net where you can find your desired electronics components at very cheap prices utsource.net has all kind of electronic components from registers to modules everything can be found here you can search components categories or just source it from the search bar the website also provides the datasets of the components which is really helpful just add your desired components to the cart [Music] fill up your address and shipping method you will get a free shipping on your first order in addition to that you will get a 10 percent discount too on your first order and now let's get back to the video in this video we are going to learn to how to setup and unroll an arduino fingerprint sensor so to do that we are going to need one breadboard one arduino 200 ohm resistors two leds some connecting wires and obviously the fingerprint sensor i am using an as608 fingerprint module so first i added some double sided tape to the sensor and placed it on the board and did the same with arduino then connected some male header pins to arduino to connect it to the fingerprint sensor sensor vcc pin goes to the 3.3 volt pin of the arduino and the ground pin to the arduino ground the tx and rx of the sensor gets connected to pins 2 and 3 of the arduino respectively then connect 100 ohm resistors to pin 7 and 8 of the arduino then connect positive sides of the leds to the 100 ohm resistors and the negative to arduino ground and with that our circuit is ready now connect the arduino to a pc and open arduino application then go to sketch include library and manage libraries then the library manager window will pop up let the manager to update list of install libraries after that search for fingerprint and install the adafruit fingerprint sensor library then go to file examples a ring of fingerprint sensor and then enroll you don't have to do any changes to the code just check if the panes are correctly mentioned or not then just click on upload after the sketch is uploaded to the arduino with the arduino still connected to the pc go to tools and open serial monitor as you can see it says our fingerprint sensor is connected and we can enroll now first type a number between 1 and 127 as in serial number so let me just type 1 and hit enter now place your finger on the sensor and then it says image taken so remove your finger and replace that same finger to complete enrollment and with that we have registered one fingerprint we can store data of 127 fingers with this code now we have enrolled two fingers let's see if it is able to distinguish between known and unknown fingers so again go to file examples adafruit fingerprint sensor and then fingerprint [Music] hope you have enjoyed the video thank you for visiting creative stuff hit that like button do subscribe and click on the bell icon to get notifications of my upcoming videos
