yo welcome back to M arery uh frequently asked questions today Slavic release what is it how do you shoot it I came to the slabic release to a photo of a Facebook friend yeah and he simply stood there with his three fingers arrow on the right side of the bow and there was the name Slavic release then I Googled a bit didn't find a lot so I thought I try so what I saw arrow on the right side like you shoot thumb release and you seriously use only these three fingers two fingers under the arrow and this finger and there are now different ways I like to have the index finger on the side of the arrow so I can apply pressure so even you know horse back nothing will happen others say the finger should be up but then you are almost at the three finger Mediterranean release the arrow is only on the other side and here I don't have control doesn't work for me so for me Slavic release looks like this then you pull to your chest or wherever and you let go so my way of shooting my way of slapping release how I saw it again now I hit the target finally so then some say there is written the arrow is on the left side when I try this with a slabic release yeah might work but the difference between mediterrane and SL is then not that big so when I have the arrow on the left side two fingers down and one finger sideways or on the Arrow is nearly like I shot Mediterranean so for me more comfortable this way and you let go so now even from the Practical side if I shoot Slavic release and I need to put the arrow on the left side makes no sense for me so gra marrow on the right side and I quite a nice way fast way I like that so what you should not mix up is maybe the San release they have the arrow on the right side and they had then some finger gloves but not for the thumb but they had it here two fingers some sort of or three fingers but they did a thumb release and they held the thumb with these two fingers so it was more or less a thumb release and you see these old paintings of cenans it looks more like this not to compare with the Slavic release in my opinion but of course it's only me and I only see the Practical side so of course you can do the thumb release with two finger lock like you see in these paintings and shoot and they only had here glove or protection for their index and middle finger not for the thumb I don't shoot thumb anymore so San thumb release or the other way around they had their two fingers there now let's see and the thumb was locking the IND the middle and ring finger so this would be another option feels some sort of good I need to try that again so again San and the options THB thumb release two finger lock like a normal thumb release or nobody saw it because the drawings are always from the other side they head they lock the had the string with the fingers and they lock the fingers in position with the thumb so to have more strength to pull heavier bows and this feels quite good and even the release feels really nice so I'm surprised I think I need to practice this a few times but still my wrist is not relaxed so for me it's not will not be my favorite shooting Style again back to the Slavic see my wrist is relaxed my hand is relaxed feels for me better but of course uh this is only what I can say about Slavic release and when you get the hang of it and even even shooting tight groups it's not a problem so this is these are my five sense to the Slavic release and maybe that you don't compare it with the sassanian release there is written they had the arrows on the right or on the left side for me more practical and way easier easier to put them on the right and shoot directly not to put them on the left side but this is always like I always like it even with thumb release so for me arrow on the right side and draw with three fingers index finger holds the arrow in place fuse perfect safe comfortable and you can pull quite heavy bows with it if you have more questions about this please let me know in the comment box otherwise thank you very much for watching bye-bye
