[Music] hello welcome to our first of the did you know local video series today we are highlighting arcgis experience builder did you know that we can combine multiple dashboard views into a single intelligent url using arcgis experience builder arcgis experience builder empowers you to quickly transform your data into compelling web apps without writing a single line of code we may often find ourselves in a scenario of creating multiple dashboard views of our data for different end users commonly this may include a large screen view such as a desktop or a small screen view such as a mobile device however having multiple links is a bit unfriendly to manage we can solve this then by using arcgis experience builder from our app launcher we can open arcgis experience builder and we can create a new experience our dashboards are full screen apps and so selecting the black full screen option is preferable the first thing that we need to do is to disable the auto widget for both tablet and mobile views and so we can do that by switching auto to custom and accepting the warning and we can do that for the mobile view as well [Music] next we will add the embed widget into the screen and the embed widget requires us to enter a url in this case we're working with the mobile view and so we'll go to the mobile dashboard copy url and paste it into this box we then need to adjust the size and positioning of the embed widget and we can stretch this to full display and we can also adjust the positioning to the top left corner we will repeat this for the tablet view so again we'll find the embed widget place it on the screen and we'll use the same mobile url typically dashboards designed for mobile also display very well on on tablet views however this may be a bit dependent on the dashboards themselves in this case we'll again adjust the positioning and we'll place this in the top left corner we'll repeat this repeat this one more time now for the desktop view we'll grab and place the embed widget again we need to place a url but in this case now we're going to grab the url for the desktop dashboard we'll repeat adjusting the size and positioning again stretching it to its full display and positioning it to the top left corner we can then save and publish this application and we can then proceed now view this application on desktop as well as on mobile devices i hope you've enjoyed this session and did you know like and follow us for more
