mighty god you are the god who is in control you're all knowing god so right now we come to you saying thank you for who you are because of who you are we give you glory because of who you are we give you praise hallelujah lord bless you lord so god right now we ask of you to touch the church right now as we look at the times and all the things that are going on we understand that we are needed even more but lord we pray for our methodology that will speak to the masses express truth through love touch our our mouth so that we can speak words of encouragement in a season of hurt pain heartache depression touch our even our fingertips lord in our minds as we formulate a text a post so that it will go out in a manner that will glorify you lord even as we hold the church accountable the society accountable the government accountable lord help us manage our humanity and move in a manner that'll bring you glory so lord we pray right now and say yes hosanna we need you we thank you for entering in to the human experience yes lord yes lord because we needed salvation yes lord thank you for entering in to this human experience to give us a glimpse of what we can do and accomplish with you so lord we actually touch our minds our ears and our hearts to receive understand and hear your voice as a word is spoken specific to our individual needs because that's how good you are thousands of people can watch you can still minister to an individual's needs we actually have your way say thank you in jesus precious precious name amen and amen amen boy you just burst out the gate i woke up praying and i said okay lord you know which direction do we need to go this morning again and i just felt to encourage the church yeah yeah you know telling your prayer the burden for the church and the church you know i we we've looked 2 000 years we've gone through many many things all right so this is not new to us it's new uh new to this generation but not new to the church of jesus christ the church continues to be triumphant because jesus said he declared that the gates of hell will not prevail against the church so we are an occupying army we are we have invaded uh this realm and too often christians forget that and they get comfortable in thinking that this is this is their world and their environment no no no we are strangers [Laughter] so for your christians this is not it that's it there's more to it there's eternity yes you know you get 70 80 maybe 100 years here but that's a drop in the bucket compared to eternity the the life that's ahead of us we've got so much to talk about it's palm sunday we're talking about uh um covenant last week yes and palm sunday and hosanna to the son of david why they said that because they were referring to the covenant the davidic covenant that the son of david messiah would fulfill but we've got some housekeeping to do first yeah so yeah right yes yes i'm excited because we have uh our guest with us and then our guests are their family you know i i don't even know why i even said guests but their family are you know calling in from orlando campus minister sheldon his lovely wife marie how are we doing today grace and peace from orlando florida how are you guys doing today we're doing good great is that that's not a magazine no that's not a magazine okay you know you had a mega crap what are you doing with a red cap on you know okay i'll leave it there it's florida it's florida that's right that's true that's because he's repping his off eternity you know uh yeah when we're down there in florida but you know he got he's doing very good with even that the brotherhood down there but uh let's talk about um friday we had an awesome experience that was uh afforded to us uh through osiris a great brother he's a part of the orlando campus you know very strong uh brother you know he's another uh you know he's a part of the cues though he's saying he's a soldier they go back and forth but another soldier uh that's really representing christ and culture and not only christ the coach of a christian culture center amen amen yes so um this last friday um orlando campus sponsored a food pantry and um we partnered with united poverty against poverty and mayor cold of eatonville florida and we fed over 200 individuals and families this was a powerful event um if you did not know eatonville is one of the oldest historical black communities in central florida minister sheldon would you like to add anything um the mayor is so excited they're building an 85 million dollar complex for the underserved here and he's excited about more events like this faster um he's really happy for the commitment that um ccc brooklyn long island and orlando have made to this community and um we thank brother osiris for obviously pulling together brother uh benjamin as well dr renee lanham she as always is amazing and pulling together all of the volunteers you see those pictures there but the community is one of the more underserved as marie just said it's a historical black community and the people are touched by the ministry of ccc amen amen and and this is i mean what you guys are doing there uh we just took in 50 something new members yes and a about 30 of those new members that came in live in other parts of the country so we are strategizing on fellowships that may turn into you know ccc campuses in different locations but at least we can get people actively involved in their faith and living it out in the community so thank you for what you guys are doing down there we appreciate you representing uh the ccc brand and the ministry that god has entrusted to our care uh and sheldon she still makes you look good uh thank you sheldon and marie our minister love you we miss you love you guys too love you guys talk to you soon bye so are we giving out virtual pawns no we're not giving our virtual problems nope no virtual power no okay all right and you're talking about prayer and how we move towards prayer and you know just just this palm sunday you know represents the way we pray most of the time right so here it is they they've been a promise they've been praying for messiah you know uh hundreds of years now we get mad because we gotta wait 30 40 days you know they've been waiting for five years hundreds of years they're praying now here it is they think that god's answering their prayer they they're excited about you know so far so good okay lord i i can i can you know move with you in this prayer you know the way you're answering it the triumphant entry of jesus on the donkey goes with the you know the uh the uh prophets and you know you know from isaiah and and here it is then all of a sudden things switch and and god doesn't fully respond to the methodologies you know and what did they do to get mad they got upset we've been praying for a savior and the ironic thing is the only time they looked for a savior was when they were in a pr uh time of uh they're in trouble yeah right you're in trouble you know and and and and it just it just speaks to the way we look wait wait are you saying that uh crisis brings out the prayer in us ah yes i would say that that's very good i didn't say it that way but yes christ brings out the prayer warrior in us yes yep god uses circumstances and situations as we said two weeks ago you know he has chosen to work within the systems and structures that he has put in place here in humanity in creation at large so i think that once we begin to understand that we can understand why covenant is a call to partnership us with god in a very special relationship because as i said last week um in in the ancient world humans were made to be the slaves of the gods yeah gods did not look to covenant with human beings because they were superior in the ancient world view not in the christian world yeah ancient worldview but israel introduces something that's totally foreign to the environment and that is that the supreme god yahweh is now wanting to enter a an alliance yes with human beings in partnership and it makes sense because remember the world is in rebellion against the authority of railway you're introducing all of these foreign gods and and those who are part of the um you know spiritual warfare class you understand how the nations were set up so yahweh is saying now and remember he prophesied that uh he allowed the nations to go their own way under the influence of these other you know angelic beings some fallen and some not fallen but he would raise up a nation and that nation would be israel and it would be his portion from the nations of the world through which he would bring messiah jesus but also bring the light of the knowledge of god to a world that was in spiritual and moral darkness and that's powerful because now when you look at psalms 8 right and you hear the the uh the psalmist having this conversation asking this question and because what happened was he he arrived at a different perspective of his humanity in that conversation right so he's coming to god saying who is man because he understand that that out of that covenant agreement like wow okay you want relationship with us so who are we like you're gonna say because sometimes you you start questioning yourself like you get a miracle god blesses you so you know you receive something okay do i even deserve this you start questioning your worth and your your dignity based on uh the proximity of an individual that you deem so high in mighty and so he's like who are we we've been a we've been conditioned by the accuser yes dayton is the accuser and the power of accusation we see today yes because actually he's a bully yeah he is because think about in in in our world of social media where people are accused of something and then it explodes and then there's blaming and then there's alienation and all of that stuff goes in and our our young people especially millennial generation are inundated with this this this fear because of likes dislikes you know what i mean uh and and many of them can't handle it they have the highest rate of suicide and and that's not the right answer that's not the right alternative but it's because of this blaming this this this the power of accusation is amazing especially if it's not true yes because people we're negative by nature so we tend to gravitate to the worst instead of the best and you know like they say when a false accusation is placed on the front page of a newspaper the apology for the retraction this place is classified in the back of the newspaper by the obituary in the sports section yes and that's the world in which we live and this is why we can't allow relativism and your truth is your truth my truth is my truth because if your truth is your truth then it's okay for you to act a certain way yeah right even to the point where you you you are willing to take your life based on your truth and not until you receive the ultimate truth of jesus christ and the deliverance from that bondage of depression you know addiction and you know all these different things can you really stand up straight again makes me think of when jesus said these words he said he said the light of of of of the body is the is the eyes all right so we say the eyes is the windows to the soul and he said if you're if you're if you're full of light right then your whole being will be a reflection of that light and paraphrasing he said but if you're full of darkness then your whole being will be a reflection of that darkness he said take heed king james language which i love take heed that the light that is in you be not darkness that's tremendous what is he saying he's saying that you may think you have the truth you may think you have the right idea or understanding and it could be wrong and if that is true that you have the wrong so-called truth then your whole life your whole being will be absorbed by that darkness by that lie by that deception and you're going to live it out and what happens is once we've chosen to believe something we tend to reject all incoming information that's inconsistent with what we've chosen to believe so even though truth may be trying to get into that darkness we reject it because we've been so enveloped in that darkness and and that's what's happening in the world today more than ever in this environment that we live in that's why god blessed us so well with we have certain abilities our ability to adapt right but if you're when so you adapt to a new truth you know it might be a false you know false you know a false idea of a new truth and uh you get comfortable and once you get to a comfortable state it takes you so much more work to break away yeah from certain ideas and ideologies that have set your world view and even if you know that it's wrong you don't push to step out of that because then you're going into a a area that's unfamiliar i love the text in second timothy uh 15 where it says you know about rightly dividing yup the word of truth yes and and we have to take time to study and understand it you know uh and the world is filled with so much information you know this is a generation that is information rich and wisdom poor well say it again this is information rich but wisdom yes yeah because you could have all of this information all of this data all right but how are you interpreting that data what lens do you bring to it what filter and we all come with a filter we all come with a lens and and the problem is when we don't realize that we have a filter all right then that thing is working and it's influencing who we are how we think what we do all of that comes into play yeah so we were talking about um and get into because this is all around prayer yes you know i was thinking about the passage where it says delight yourself in the lord uh psalm 37 verse 4 delight yourself in the lord and he will give you the desires of your heart another passage uh mark 11 24 where it says uh and king james language whatsoever things you desire when you pray believe that you receive them and you will have them and that that word desire becomes central to those two texts like in psalm 37 4 all right because let me go back to mark 11 24 in mark 11 24 the word desire there means whatever you request require uh crave for uh demand you know uh pursue all of that is built into that one word desire but in in psalm 37 4 you you can't decouple delighting yourself in the lord from the desires of your heart because if you're not delighting in god then you're not on the the influence of god which means that you can desire things that are unwholesome yep that are detrimental to you and actually ask god for them all right we're talking about believers here you know so it brings to the mind the whole idea of desire and what that was because we were talking about the garden and and adam and eve right yes and the big question was um if they were perfect in creation why would they have sinned and you know people asked that question and it's a very good question i and i but the the first thing we gotta do is define perfect right you know because remember the definition i'm gonna write this now he he that controls the language conversation but yet you know to to understand the conversation we have to be on the same uh playing field yeah so what is your definition of perfect and and and you believers out there we're teaching you not just uh what to think but how to think yes so when something is presented to you you've got to begin with definitions yes how is it being defined so you take the word perfect it comes out of your apologetic stuff yes yes what do you mean by that yeah what do you mean by that you know and this is important so when you're talking and someone you know posits something to you you've got to ask the question well what's your definition of that don't be afraid to ask ask that person what do you mean by that how are you defining it because we can assume that we're using the same working definition and it is not the same difference look at a marriage how many times i thought she meant one thing she actually meant another thing we're arguing i said can't wait what do you mean by that and they're like oh okay so i i was wrong you know usually and you were right but not until we came into a a common definition can we start you're dealing with the situation that's why communication is the basis for life and when that breaks down because they're opposing definitions because there was no communication then the argument intensified so in life you've got to ask what do you mean by that the the the expert in the law that came to jesus you know and said good math you know what must i do to inherit eternal life how do you read that you know the law but then jesus asked the question how do you read it so what's your understanding and and that's where communication really begins when we when we you know put ourselves in a position that we're saying the same things and understanding the same thing then we can talk about those things so when the bible speaks of perfect this is so important um because oh gosh we didn't you know pull it into prayer but the bible when the bible speaks of perfect it it uses it in two ways one way is mature like in first john 4 18 where it says uh there is no fear in love and perfect love casts out all fear right first john 4 18 there is no fear in love which is true when there is love there there's no apprehension there's no fear you know uh in in the relationship if you mess up you're not afraid to come back and say ah man i messed up i'm sorry because there's no fear of rejection because love covers a multitude of faults you know all of that is in play so there's no fear so when it says uh there's no fear in love and perfect love casts out fear what it's saying is mature love when love mature matures all right fear cannot work in that relationship so if your love is immature if it's not gone through a process of growth and development and understanding then you could love a person still go through all those changes so mature love when as love is matured when love is perfected it means it's mature so the word perfect there so ministry mature it's mature right but also the word perfect means uh complete so it never means flawless unless it's being applied to god say say it again please look so when you read in the bible uh the term perfect all right it doesn't mean flawless unless it's being applied to god god is the only flawless being yes every other being has flaws all right otherwise we'd be god all right god is the only one that is fully complete in himself and without flaw every being has flaws limitations especially when you compare yourself to absolutely weaknesses and strength that we every being has dependencies outside of god every being depends yeah so that's that's really really important um so when the bible says that uh speaks of perfection in in in a human sense it's talking about with anything really yeah genesis he said it was perfect yeah complete complete complete for the purpose for which it was created say it again all right let me give you that definition when the bible speaks of perfect as applied to anything or anyone other than god it means complete for the purpose for which it was created yes so uh adam and eve were created perfect in the sense that they were complete for the purpose for which they were created it does not mean that they were created flawless because if they were flawless they wouldn't have sinned so the question is if they were in a complete state for the purpose for which they were created why did they sin well yeah and um it just we gotta look at the the the um way we were created to understand because you know sin you know the question is how to send enter right so when you when when the methodology which said now you're getting deep i know i just didn't enter yes so we came through one man i know that and the women said amen you know but you still you still have to you know go go through that process i understand it because you know once you look at the creature the creation of how it's created looking at isn't completion looking at the um the way sin enters then you can say okay this is how you know and and from an apologetic standpoint when we look at humanity and understand because the first thing we do we do is answer the god question does god exist who is god if he does is he knowable right uh after that then you start looking at the creation so because if god yes god exists yes he's noble yes he created then you start looking at the creation and we have to understand in order for us to say that this is god he has to be the highest conceivable being of complete right within his uh himself right he's the only being within himself and who he is incomplete yeah right our completeness stands outside of ourselves uh our uh you know so with that being said psychology a psychologist and neuroscience they understand that they try to say we lose ten percent of our brain you know use 20 that's that's you know that's debatable but the fact is that our brain and our mind is is finite we still have a hard time being able to conceive or understand the fullness of this god just within our finite yes even at our complete you know when god said we're perfect we still once again we still have limitations and when we look at our brain and how it operates we still had limitations we didn't never adam and eve never came to the fullness and this of understanding of this god and all of his you know glory which is the future yes because he established them there's something called the beatific which is the ultimate experience of god that any created being can have yes because we cannot know god as he is jesus said he's the only one only the son knows the father in his fullness yes and the father knows the son in fullness but we can have an overwhelming experience yes yes all right that nothing can compete with now we're in the beatific mission yes and no we gotta but we gotta behave here's the word the word is desire we go back to the desires of your heart you know whatsoever you desire when you pray the role of desire must be understood in order to appreciate how we function and why they're boundaries yeah and that's why i said we gotta go back to the way we created because if we are complete what is there to desire well that's just it we were complete in for the purpose for which we were created annie what was the purpose he says have dominion be fruitful multiply all right so he made humanity the vice regents over the earth and for that work all right we were complete but we're not flawless so let me and the reason i'm i'm really honing in on this because people you know they try to say that adam and eve you know was at a level that they shouldn't have been able to be tempted right so as we start explaining and unwrapping the whole idea of what complete looks like based on the purpose of what you were created then we can understand why there can be still desires and think about it because they still needed food needed to eat they needed love they needed he said you can't identify you may not be alone all these things only god even in his completeness he shouldn't be alone right exactly so so we understand good point we understand that they were complete for the purpose for which they were created so so why did they take the offer of satan you know if they were complete in that way and it's because of this thing called desire and and first let me say that desire is not an instinct like it is it's not something programmed in us like an animal instinct all right animal instinct that animal is programmed that way and it will act on impulse in that way yeah all right but that's not true for human beings for us desire is a how can i put it um a potential inside of us that must be activated because you can't eliminate desire because without desire we can't love we can't grow we can't learn desire is built into learning and growing and loving it's building also to our creativity yeah see all of them all right because it becomes a driving force so so it is it is not an instinct yeah okay i would say you got you gotta repeat this all right all right so it's it's not an instinct it's a potential inside of us that must be activated and it's activated all right through our senses by some external force so you know what we see what we hear all right what what we touch what we feel all of those things activate desires yes in inside that's so important guys you pay attention to that desire is not bad it's a god-given thing because we couldn't learn we couldn't grow we couldn't love without desire we couldn't create we couldn't experience the fullness of who god has made us as human being without the desire right um so so it's a potential so it was a potential inside of adam and eve right uh that was activated had to be activated and this is why it's so important that you know that that that desires have boundaries that desires have standards that that that shape and influence them so that we don't go to the extremes yes because although desire is good when desire is taken to the extreme it leads to envy jealousy competition and ultimately violence yes so when we look around the world we see the violence in the world all right this comes out of certain desires that are working functioning outside of the boundaries that god determined for desire to work in yes yes yes that's why religion the church plays such an important role in culture because it establishes those boundaries that keep desires from going to the extreme and disrupting you think about war you think about everything that's going on in this world that's negative again it begins with a wholesome desire all right which is activated by something outside think about it think about this all right what i want all right is is is the desires in me come from what i've seen what i've heard what i've tasted what i've touched what i've experienced so if i see you living a certain quality of life right yes that activates yep desire in me got it because the potential was there always present so it activates desire in me so i can look at you and if i look at you you become a model yes for that desire to be activated in me now i want to be like you i want what you have yes got it and and that's okay but when it rises to the place of now i'm competing with you i'm jealous of you i'm envious of you and you we become rivals now that competition can lead to aggression that aggression can lead to violence because now i want to eliminate you because you're my competition so it begins with desiring yep you know what you have and who you are as a person but if if it doesn't work within certain boundaries that's why the the the um the ten commandments says thou shall not covet yes right yeah so what he's saying is control your desires and you used to teach us that you know we already think to the level that we're exposed to i used to tell my kids i said you only desire you know at the level you're exposed and and that's why i said watch what you allow yourself to be exposed to because when you start allowing yourself to be exposed to certain things not all things that you're exposed to should you desire yeah yeah there have to be safeguards there has to be boundaries and that's why our faith gives us a moral compass without the boundaries uh moral boundaries that that's presented by our faith all right we'll just go crazy yes yes that's why the earth is filled with violence that goes back to genesis chapter six you know god creates it in one chapter six chapters later the whole world has ever met so desires are important part of prayer and when we're praying that's why we have to check our hearts check our desire what's motivating us for this particular thing is it motivated out of jealousy is it motivated out of envy is it motivated out of lust or is it a genuine desire for something that is wholesome and within the boundaries of asking hallelujah amen amen that's good that's good in a long time yeah boom we were doing good we were doing good so what does the devil do he tries to corrupt our desires he takes because remember he's he's not a creator he takes what is good and pushes it to the extreme yes he all right so god made everything good right he said it was good god declared it was good and then very good but now when good is taken outside of the boundaries that keeps it good it now becomes something that's evil when good is taken outside of the boundary that keeps it good keeps it good then becomes evil becomes evil exactly and that's why it's an alienation evil is an alienation from good which is an alienation from god because god is good yes so a society is alienated from god which is good they are alienated from good so they become what more and more evil yes yes and then and oh man hallelujah we didn't get into covenant we didn't covenant relationship and we're out of time but this is important especially as we pray you know because you shouldn't be praying for somebody else's husband amen say it again shouldn't be praying for somebody else's wife amen you know i mean you shouldn't you you shouldn't be praying for something someone has out of your jealousy out of your envy that would be a lust you could pray that your bank account looks like somebody else's bank account but you shouldn't pray for their bank account come on shane say amen sometimes it's it's it's true so we work within boundaries and we talk about because you know especially in america it's about liberty it's about freedom it's about rights you know and it's always about my rights and my freedoms are being infringed upon you know but freedom needs boundaries in order to keep us free because once we step outside of the boundaries that keep us free we end up in bondage well and it and that's so true because psychologists say that you need boundaries to help your self-esteem hmm yeah yeah and the iron impact right you got to unpack that well because when you think about it so so within because if you don't have boundaries you're willing to try or identify with anything and everything to help find your self-esteem but once you start developing balance you're saying you know this is who i am and i can flourish with who i am within these boundaries because i get my identity from christ right i get my identity i know i get my worth from this relationship because once again i am somebody you are so mindful of yeah yeah that not only do you think of me you sent your son to die and rise and not just rise but speak on my behavior on my behalf you're preaching real good so the in so the incarnation the death on the cross yes all right is an expression of god's value for me as a human being yes yes that he would pay the price yes by giving his only begotten son yes to redeem me yeah my value how important i am yes and how important i am as a being and that is where i get my identity from yes you know why this is so important because we have all of these images on television on social media all of these different platforms that are communicating images and many of those images are images that are in identity crisis itself so you're looking at an image that's in an identity crisis and you want to copy that crisis so what happens you enter that crisis you have to come knowing who you are and those boundaries that you set for you not to jump in and identify so much with all of this or you know and it saves you yeah because you go through such an identity crisis as you try any and everybody else's identity and everybody else's crisis because they're an identity crisis you'll lose yourself wait wait wait so what you mean we're just trying on clothes pretty much that's all we're doing i like the way you know i'm gonna try that on yeah i like the way that i look i'm gonna try it out on and i just keep trying on stuff and never find no me no because you and you cannot find yourself outside of the revelation of the cross and come on guys god made man in his image and his likeness we are imagers of god so we are to image god not all this other stuff no we ought to image god which means we got to understand god yeah that he is loved that he's life that he's light you know we have to understand the nature of it somebody says why do we need to understand the nature of guys so because let me ask you a question if i don't understand the nature of the person who created that chair i would not know the full purpose of that chair and i'll misuse the use of that chair what was their intention yeah where were their attentions yeah so is it a seat or is it a weapon yeah so i'm not an accident no i was intentionally created by it yes and entered human history at a specific time and place yes based upon things that he had planned to happen yes and therefore that's why we have to watch the desires of our heart uh come on that wrap it up boom bam [Laughter] i think we're out of time yeah i think we're over yes but it is palm sunday and and of course it is looking back at when jesus was on the back of that donkey which was a fulfillment of prophecy old testament prophecy right he comes as a servant and the people are laying down palm branches shouting hosanna to the son of david hosanna in the highest and the reason they were calling it this calling him the son of david because the prophecy said that a davidic king that david would have a son who would sit on the throne of israel and of that kingdom there would be no end so it goes back to covenant god is a covenant keeping god and he distinguishes himself as the god of abraham isaac and jacob to distinguish himself from all other gods that are out there who claim to be god he's the ultimate one and he joins a relationship a very special relationship with his people he loves humanity yes he loves all that for god so loved the world that he gave his only god but there is a special relationship with those who have submitted to him and embraced his son you received my son you received me yes yes we got to wrap it up so where do we go prayer what what what's going to happen here um we we had uh we have not to call okay video i can have somebody one of minutes says i'll deport her uh who's gonna be i believe his other pointer um wrapping up with the altar call uh please if there was a tug on your heart uh and you know you were experiencing this this this soft voice i want you to listen to the minister and after i will come back and we'll have some more conversation that was i pray you truly got something out of this today so we're at the part of our service where we would call this the altar call and really if i had to give it a another way of saying this i would say it's about entering into a relationship with you making a decision to do that and so recently this week i was studying and i was in the book of acts chapter 16. and paul is on his second mission and what happens is that he along the way he ends up healing a woman who was possessed with the demon and as a result of him healing her him and silas his companion ended up in jail and when they ended up in jail they began to praise god and they began to pray to god and a miracle happened because the shackles had been set free the jail's doors have been opened and when we go to acts chapter 16 verse 28 we come to this part of the story actually verse 27 and it says when the jailer awoke and saw the prison doors open he drew his sword and was about to kill himself supposing that the prisoners had escaped but paul cried out with the loud voice saying do not harm yourself for we are all here and he called for lights and rushed in and trembling with fear the generally he fell down before paul and silas basically the jailer had witnessed a miracle he witnessed god do something that he thought only he had the power to do which was to set the prisoners free he actually saw someone more powerful and greater than him do something that he thought only he could do and the question becomes for you is have you witnessed something like that in your life have you had an experience in your life where you've witnessed the power of god and you've asked yourself how is that even possible so this is how the jailer responded when he witnessed something so profound he said after he brought them out he said to them sir what must i do to be saved so i'm wondering if there's anybody watching that that's asking themselves after watching the service maybe after going through an experience in your life maybe witnessing a christian in your life and watching the power of god and looking at their life and going how do i get what they have see the jailer realized he had a deficiency and he realized that he needed to be rescued and saved from this sufficiency because there was something greater than him and more powerful than him that had the ability to do something that only he thought that he could do and so peter i mean paul says so beautifully and so eloquently and so simply he says in verse 31 he goes believe in the lord jesus and you will be saved you and your household and so if that's you today and you are saying you know what do i need to do to be able to enter into a relationship with someone that is more powerful and more greater than me the creator of this world somebody who is so amazing and so awesome that i could truly believe that they will turn my life around if that is you i want to pray for you because as the word says all you have to do is believe god has already done the work through his son jesus christ and that work was finished on the cross so if you can bow your heads and we will pray father god i thank you for each and every person that's made a decision today to say lord i want to enter into a relationship with you i pray that lord god that as they are saying this prayer that their head is bowed that they are admitting that they are centered that they are as sinners in need of salvation and sinners in need of a savior that they confess father that you are lord over it all that you sent your son to die on a cross for them and that he was risen on the third day and he sits on the right hand of the father and he is interceding on our behalf even now so father i pray that you would cover each and every individual who is responding to this altar call i thank you that you would send forth your holy spirit it would resonate inside of them so that they would be so much like you that when people see them that they would ultimately see you i thank you that today may not be such a quick turnaround but i thank you that you are committed not just to the end journey but you are also committed to their process so father thank you that although it might not be instantaneous that you would be there for them along the way so father we give you praise for each and every person making this decision today we look forward to the testimony that we will hear from the individuals making this this confession today and we just give you all the praise all the glory and all the honor and we just say we love you so much god in jesus name we pray amen and so you'll see some numbers on the screen we're going to ask that you either text or you can call because we definitely want to connect and pray with you we love you we look forward to hearing from you and we thank you amen [Music] amen well welcome welcome welcome if we don't take it lightly this is a significant part of the service because we are in making sure that your soul is captured up by the grace of god so i'm excited um if that was you welcome to the family and please the number's on the screen uh call that number or text the number uh we got individuals that want to speak with you uh about what you just did and help usher you into a deeper relationship with christ amen it's not about a religion it's about a relationship come on that's it that's what god wants yes and it's about his relational presence that is the central theme of the bible and all of the stories that are there well it's been good man yes very good we've got first time oh yes we have a first time visitor uh diane from north hampton uk united kingdom united kingdom yes that's like over there across the pond yes they are across the pond yeah thank you for joining us being part of our family amen yes yes and then uh the last thing is you'll be um with the singles ministry this uh friday ah right and uh what's the topic i don't know yet you don't know yet no all right just come show up and i gotta get into i get get the leader of the lord in the prayer well if you are single and you want to join the singles ministry or uh visit uh us during this uh it's a zoom call yeah it's gonna be uh this friday go on the website you have all the information there and once again you know we're we're moving to a different mindset of really valuing singles and married at the same level too often we as a church we make a mistake and say you know that that marriage is the ultimate you know goal and we can't assume that for everybody you have to you have to be a complete single in order to have a good marriage yeah there you go see see why you married this friday marriage doesn't come yeah it doesn't complete you yeah singleness no yes so complete and hopeful you're valued the same if you're single you're married you're still valued and if you're called yes because marriage is a calling oh yeah yes you know some people are not called to that union and that's yeah don't give them too much information okay and also um our we usually have a christmas christmas we have an easter production as part of our service but it won't be part of the service next sunday it's going to be on its own uh night right yep but six o'clock okay night sunday night eastern standard time okay good so our easter production and our performing arts ministry they've been working you know are been working hard and they always blow it up yes all right so don't forget leading of the boy okay but we will be in person in brooklyn and out here in long island and we have two services uh one at eight and the other at eleven yeah and you have to register yeah you have to register and the reason why this is such a large gap is because we wanna make sure that we clean the building yeah we sanitize it go through the process for the next group of individuals so we're going to spray people when they walk in right hey if that's what it takes for them to ge we're not going to do that no okay unless you're anointed with your 90. spray you with the anointing not just my feet lord but my whole body that's what peter said amen to holy water you're gonna pray us out man yes father god thank you so much for an awesome message awesome time being with you lord react as you continue just letting that marinate letting that take hold into our hearts and really much of wrestle in our hearts that we delight and then desire hallelujah so we desire the correct things we desire the right things one that doesn't just benefit self but beneficial individuals around us and one that glorifies you ultimately so what we actually have your way protect us and are coming and going uh throughout this week let us keep our eyes on you this is high holy week so sensitize our spirit give us the spirit of discerning so that we can hear your voice throughout the day so we can see your handiwork throughout the day amen well you're a good god and we say thank you for your goodness your benevolence always ready to do good for us for me so we ask that you have your way into
