[Music] hey guys what's up welcome back to the channel Jeremy asked from T tag hear the truth about guns calm I'm out in the woods of NIDA hoe as usual and today we are doing ar-15 562 3 muzzle break test number three we have of course our rifle set up on the test rig the Adams arms gas block is turned to off so the action won't cycle it will stay closed on every single shot we're going to load a single round every time for each and every test and what we're going to do is change out the muzzle device see which one reduces recoil the best I actually have believe it or not like 45 different muzzle brakes today we've got a lot of stuff to test a whole long list of them I'm going to be writing down how far back they each slide this recoil sled so it'll fire it'll slide back maybe about 10 something inches we'll see for each and every one I'll call the results out on camera and I'm going to call it in eighths I'm not going to reduce my fractions okay I will say two eighths I will say four eighths instead of a half you're gonna have to deal with that I'm going to be writing everything down in sixteenths though because I can see between the half of these eights you know I can split those we'll see which muzzle break muzzle device reduces recoil the most on the ar-15 and again this is test number three test number one and two are out there is a flash hider test as well actually two flash hider tests and a 308 muzzle brake test so check those guys out as well when you have a chance and really this video they're not that interesting I'm just doing one after another maybe it'll be interesting to see your favorite break go up on this test but mostly it's just kind of proof so you can see with your own two eyes what each muzzle break actually scored on this test go over to t tag the truth about guns calm in the video description below there's a link follow that because that's where I've got graphs I've got data you can download the excel doc all the raw data for this entire test is there pictures the it's about the fit and finish the machining quality of all of these brakes MSRP links to the manufacturers all of that stuff all the good stuff is on T tag again this video really is just for proof so you can see what they do and the slow-mo might help you get a good idea of what the flash looks like how much fire these things have maybe that how much concussion they have what the muzzle wants to do if it's trying to go up if it's trying to if it's getting pushed down you should be able to get an idea for that on the slow-mo now I think probably there will be a test number for some day if there's something you want to see in this a lot of these I've borrowed and a lot of them the manufacturers have sent to me just donated I couldn't get through to some manufacturers if you have your favorite email them or ask them call them tell them to send me a break my email address is right here on the screen they can contact me that way send it in for test number four forgot to mention two quick things I will be using the POS the pen of science to trip the trigger for each and every shot it's only like a two and a half pound trigger this rig takes a lot more than that to get it moving I've actually found this to be very consistent every single time you know if I do a bear muzzle 12 times the maximum spread will be like within a quarter of an inch every single time for shortest to longest within a quarter inch so I found this very consistent I have actually done it with a remote trigger pull device a little hydraulic one with the line and you know it's just not worth the hassle believe it or not this really works I'm sticking to it otherwise you know I think we're good to go let's go ahead and get the test started we're gonna go alphabetically through these forty-something muzzle devices okay time for a couple of control shots first up of course is bear muzzle 11 and 1/8 bear muzzle take two eleven and a half dead on we are going alphabetically so this bad boy from 2111 arms it's their comp slash break is up first nice surprisingly effective for a comp and we are at five and six eighths or dargor with that I'm doing my math right that cut recoil almost exactly in half let's do test number two on the 2111 just a hair shy of five and a half so that's going down as five and seven sixteenths somewhat goofy name in my opinion but this break has a good reputation it's the apex tactical enhanced stabilization attachment that is four and a half dead on apex number two but I call that a sixteenth of an inch shy of four and a half pretty consistent well guys next up was supposed to be the Armageddon tactical tech type one this is a late entry I was going to squeeze it in today but something's wrong with the threads I can't get it on to the muzzle the threads seem to be bad I have a 1/2 by 28 tap at home but not out with me in the woods here I tried a couple others they're still threading on just fine there's nothing wrong with my barrel I guess this is a DQ I can't put it on my gun can't test it sorry Armageddon I'm sure that's just a fluke and I'm sure I can clean these up but I'm not going to force it onto my gun think you know mush those threads up so on to the next one alright next up is from black dawn guns calm it's the black dawn muzzle break it has no wrench flats it's kind of a pain in the butt to install nevertheless just shy of 5 and 1/8 black dawn number 2 hair over 5 just a teeny teeny bit I'm gonna call that 5 what you're looking at there is the cobalt kinetics evolve Pro Comp definitely a standout in this test aesthetically see how it fares heck of a side blast from that guy lovely and 3/8 dead-on so far our leader Koval evolved number two exactly exactly exactly to the tenth of a millimeter the same as last time three and three eighths okay this is the core 15 muzzle break from core 15 rifles four and a half exactly all right core 15 number two four and three eighths all right from dead air armament makers of very nice suppressors is their key mount muzzle break this is the QD attachment for most of their cans between four and six and four and seven eighths going down as four and thirteen sixteenths dead air number-25 dead-on next up is dead air sandman TI suppressor yes this is a 30 caliber suppressor I'm using a 1/2 by 28 to 5/8 24 thread adapter so I can put this on my a AR and it has a 30 Cal aperture on the front but interestingly enough the end caps are actually swappable I have the tool to take it off and in here it holds the five five six and cap so I'm going to do the 30 caliber one then swap the five five 61 see if we can actually measure a difference in recoil mostly you know obviously it's to make it a little bit quieter when you're shooting a smaller bullet through the 30 caliber can I don't know if that works yet either but I will hopefully test that as well in the future six and 1/16 Sandman TI number26 dead on it's definitely the quietest by far and least concussion of all of them zero concussion very very pleasant to be next to let's swap the end cap see what happens alright the five five six end cap with its smaller hole has been installed the 30 caliber one with a bigger aperture is off let's see if this makes a difference for recoil it does indeed five and five eighths Sandman TI with five six end cap number two little more that time but still less than a 30 Cal end cap which is really cool to see that is a hair under five and seven eighths so I'm going to call it five and thirteen sixteen and you know real quick I'll just mention there's some debate about whether different size end caps make a difference some people say they're a gimmick just to help a company sell more small parts that they can make a profit on it does make a small difference on recoil I think I've proven that in my opinion having shot four rounds now to in the 32 in the five six I do believe I can tell a difference and that it's quieter on a two to three with a five six end cap I would like to prove that with a DB meter at some point but for now in my personal subjective opinion yes it's quieter I hope you're excited for this one it is here by popular demand the Diamond Head tea break pretty good five inches dead-on Diamondhead tea break number 2 5 and 1/16 also hereby specific requests in the comments on YouTube where tea tag is the dynamic resistance muscle break slash comp Wow very very very very impressive for such a compact little break we are just over three and a half it's between three and four and three and five-eighths so that is going down as three and nine sixteenths dynamic resistance take two Wow nice and consistent that is just like a millimeter farther I'm still calling that three and nine sixteenths and I gotta say a super impressed I try to kind of be impartial on this but for the size of that break a little to port I am crazy crazy impressed at the recoil reduction there so Fordyce makes a pretty cool looking stuff this is certainly no exception this is the Fortis muzzle break for five five six all right well that is 5 and 5/8 boardís number two almost an exact repeat it's between five and four eighths and five and five eighths so that's going down as five and nine sixteenths there's lots of interest in the Griffin rment units that act as QD mounts for their suppressors up first this is the hammer comp six and one sixteenths inches all right the Slytherin uh sorry Gryffindor great weight griffin armament Griffon armament hammer comp take two five and seven eighths definitely more of a cub then a break this is a Griffin armaments m4 SD and it makes me eat my words because that did better than the hammer come we are at five and a little over two eight so that's going to be 5/16 Griffin m4 SD take two just over five and three eighths between five and three eighths and five and a half so that's going down as five and seven sixteenths next up is control solutions SK Ahn trol control this is the three gun break that may have broken my phone with the blast we're shy of four and a half that's going down as four and seven sixteenths control three gun take two that time we got four and one-eighth all right this is the Knight's armament mam's M AMS and got to be honest I'm testing this just because it was loaned to me I have it these things are almost impossible to find and they cost a fortune like over 300 bucks it's ridiculous but yeah I figured lenders will throw it into the test here see what she does just over five and two eighths we're calling at five and five sixteenths Knight's armament MEMS number two that time we are five and three eighths okay this bad boy is the Knight's armament triple tap or three T this direct metal laser centered a type of 3d printing because apparently it's impossible to make the craziness going on inside there by any other means it is really expensive over 400 bucks not even in production anymore impossible to find again testing it because it was loaned to me and I have it let's see if the performance is worth that huge huge price tag it actually wasn't in the flash hider test it did okay but not great let's see how it does as a break to control or reduce recoil well I'd have to say not good that's six and six eight nights ever meant 3t number two that time were six and two eighths from lilja precision rifle barrels in Montana comes the heartbreaker these guys make some of the nicest most accurate barrels in the world they're 30 caliber break outperformed based on its small size and I'm very curious to see how the five five six does here looking good that's three and seven eighths Lilja heartbreaker test two dead-on four inches I should say this also does not have wrench flats however Lille just sells a tool that fits into that little heart-shaped port and you can use it to crank the thing down so not really knocked but you do have to buy it like $9 tool separately yeah for the nice sleek diameter I think it pretty much outperforms now that port shape has proven very effective in these tests we had a heart break from another company as well and it did great just like these lil just have alright this is a big break from Nord Arms in Estonia hard to find right now that working on coming to the US I think they're going to be at Brownells soon but this is a big bad looking break badass that is rear words angled ports big baffles big ports just looking at it judging by the design this is their open break by the way it might be a contender it could unseat that precision armament m4 72 but we're definitely going to find out let's do test number one alright 3 and 1/8 I think that makes it a leader so far yeah I ran down the list sure enough that is our leader let's do a number 2 and again the exact same spot 3 and 1/8 inches also from nord arms is a smaller break this is their standard break a two-port job also angled ports just like their big open but obviously it's a little sleeker and smaller this is a titanium one this is steel I'm just gonna test the titanium one because why not the design of them identical so the results should be identical but we're just going to do the titanium one today good performance from that guy and we are at it's a hair under three and a half but it's closer to three and a half and a sixteenth down so but in three and a half down nice and test two for the nord arms standard that time we are just shy of three and six eight this is a unique compensator from odin works it's called the atlas compensator and this part doesn't have to be timed so i took my little lock washer off as this actually goes over the barrel with the shoulder a little bit so you just crank that guy down and then there's a sleeve a titanium sleeve with some ports on the side obviously and a little one on the top and that little top mark is to help you time it but it doesn't have to be perfectly vertical you can have it slightly off to push down and left for a right-handed shooter who tends to climb up and right a little bit and that also changes the ports that are open and venting through so what i'm going to do for the purpose of this test is basically just timed this up and there's a front cap by the way sorry there's these set screws in it so once you get this timed where you want the front cap goes on that clamps everything down and then you tighten these set screws in the muzzle and that really holds everything super snug so it doesn't move I'm going to time this just vertical straight up and we'll test and see what happens not bad at all between 4 & 1 & 4 & 2 8 so going down as 4 and 3/16 atlas comp do a little better on tests number 2 is just shy of 4 inches so that is 3 and 15/16 from phase 5 weapon systems this is the batman hex break 5 5 6 and it is a gigantic break this whole part down here is actually the sleeve that goes over the barrel and you've got the break in front it looks cool i guess it's huge see how she does between 4 & 3 & 4 & 4 8 so that's 4 and 7/16 batman test - that is a hair shy of 4 & 6 eighths but that's what we're calling it because it's not quite to the 16th we're getting close to the reigning champ this is also from precision armament it's the a fab AFA be advanced flash arresting break and I'm testing it because it was in the first two tests and both flash lighting tests including it again for consistency and also because that's my go-to muzzle device I know it's not super exciting it's a little subdued on appearance it's a better-than-average break it's a better-than-average compensator it's a better-than-average flash hider it has less than your average amount of concussion a blast so not really a stand out in any way but I think if you're looking for something all-around that is my personal preference or our suggestion so let's do it test number one a fab we are at five and five eighths position I rent a fab deer almost exactly the same again 1/16 shorter than last time so that means just over five and a half just under five and five eighths that is five and nine sixteenths all right here we go precision armament m4 seventy-two our reigning champion across two five five six muzzle brakes and the 308 muzzle brake test will see if she can do it again and that is a yes because we are under three inches for a sixteenth of an inch under three inches so two and fifteen sixteenths and by the way my apologies the son is just crazy strong direct today I realize all of this video basically sucks for the record I am keeping my ammo in the shade so I can keep it at as constant of a temperature as possible since I know that could slightly skewed the results I am NOT in the shade I am sweaty alright the pam-4 72 test knee I survived that blast of hot air that this thing really throws out to get exactly the same result and this thing has been super consistent across all of those tests like same result every time to the sixteenth of an inch so two and fifteen six tenths our winner so far but we have cheese at least 15 or more left to go next up is the rack or reindeer arms compensator from you guessed it Rainier arms pretty good showing with 4 and 1/16 reindeer arms compensator number 2 run out of different languages I don't know how to say 2 in already a little better that time 3 and 7/8 nice next up is what I think is a really cool-looking comp it's also from Rainier arms and it's the xt c 2.0 alright that's a hair over a four and an eighth but it's not quite to the neck 16th so we're calling that 4 and 1/8 inches Rainier arms xt c 2.0 and the same again but just a skosh farther so i am calling that four and three sixteenths next up is no offense a weird looking break from riff and barker ripened bark armory it's the som muzzle break and som of course stands for sound of madness get som get some test one we are at 6 and 1/8 inches it's clear from the design that this puts a lot of emphasis on muzzle rise and pushing that muzzle down more than it does actually reducing recoil so not bad not bad 6 underneath sound of madness take 2 exactly the same dead-on 6 and 1/8 inches okay okay try to contain your excitement here it is the SJC titan comp the number one most requested break that I failed to have in the first two tests this was loaned to me courtesy of Lisa from Lucas oils we now have a full line of gun products gun loops cleaners all that good stuff you know the Lucas name from car racing of course she was kind enough to give me this so I could test it out to satisfy everyone who's complaining that I didn't have it and I understand why because this is one of the most popular brakes comps that has ever been for three gun and other competition so let's see how she does well holy crap I see why everyone wanted it I am shocked actually from the simple design just circle around ports and you know what we have a new winner it's dead on two and a half as soon four eighths by the way if you refuse to reduce fractions like I do all right moment of truth see how consistent she is SJC Titan number two heck yes not only that with an exclamation point because it's a sixteenth of an inch shorter where between two and three eighths and two and four eighths so that's two and seven sixteenths awesome can't believe it we have a new champion SJC titan has dethroned to the precision armament m4 72 as the best recoil reducing break for two two three five five six at least son a 16 inch barrel all that stuff I mean your results could vary a little but probably not I would say it's fair to say this reduces recoil a little bit more than the m4 72 congratulations SJC alright now you're looking at a surefire war comp this was in the last flash hider test because primarily it's a flash hider a three-prong flash hider as you can see but it has a bunch of ports in what is basically a first chamber there and it's supposed to reduce recoil as well also it is time specifically this is up we have two vents here and only one on the bottom this should in general push the muzzle down just a bit to compensate for a rise let's see how it compensates for rear words recoil alright well it definitely does that is seven and three eighths war comp test to that time we got 7 and 1/8 I'm actually impressed with how much recoil reduction there isn't that dedicated flash hider are mostly dedicated flash hider so good result alright tactical advantage armored was kind enough to send a handful of brakes sometimes they get a little worried that it's all about aesthetics and you know performance is kind of an afterthought a couple that breaks from these guys give me that worried they're very cool-looking this one's titanium but it's available in other metals as well this is the 3% or break as you can see there is one two three like a Roman numeral three and then the percent logo three percenters are a constitutional patriot group and this is tactical advantage armories omage to them and yeah let's see how it works to reduce recoil ta a three percent or take one not bad not bad at all just a bit past four and six eight so we're going to call that four and thirteen sixteenths three percent ER shot number two between four and five eighths and four and six eight so that's four and eleven sixteenths all right second one from tactical advantage armory this is the BC 23 compensator and it's stainless steel doesn't have to be timed I just cranked it down of course there are no wrench flats on this guy so I stuck a little screwdriver right through it cranked it down I wouldn't mind wrench flats not gonna lie very nice for in two eights four and a quarter tactical advantage armory BC 23 take two and we have fit pass forward 1/8 that's 4 and 3/16 nice showing for a comp for sure I don't know if the slow-mo showed it on that last one but most of the titanium breaks put out like a spark firework show for quite a while after you get them that titanium when it's sandblasted it sheds little teeny tiny pieces and they sparkle one way to get around that is by sarah coding it's OTA a tactical advantage Armory offers sarah coding in a few different colors this is their c c23 as you can see it's kind of cccc shapes for all of those little ports it is another break with no wrench flats I assume you'd want to use a strap wrench to really install this properly otherwise you've got to just kind of cram a tool in there and I would hate to do that if I got this in titanium and bought it it would be a little painful of there over 200 bucks cool-looking little cup let's see how she does Wow very nicely indeed it's a bit shy of 3 and 7/8 so that's going to be three and thirteen sixteenths second shot for the CC 23 exactly on 3 and 7/8 all right next up from tactical advantage armory again they sent five brakes I wasn't actually going to include all of them but you know why not I have them I like this one this is titanium it has a bunch of cuts through it it's like a little waffle it's it's cool-looking and it's light this thing weighs almost nothing so I'm curious how it does this is called their NES 23 guys we're under 4 inches or 1/16 under 4 inches so that's 3 and 15/16 taa and es 23 - alright even better at that time three and five-eighths this one is a bit of surd maybe it's tactical advantage armories NT 23 another titanium one even though it's huge it doesn't weigh that much but yeah it's huge be kind of cool to pin it on I guess a really short barrel to bring it up to 16 inches like 12 something 12 and 1/2 inch barrel you could get it up to lengths but well quite well actually that's three and five-eighths second test for n 223 that time three and three eighths all right this guy is from thunder beasts arms corporation makers have really really excellent suppressors and it's a relatively QD quick detach mount for their line of suppressors it is the CB muzzle break a nice small really beautifully machined break see how she performs a hair shy of three inches but closer to three than the 1516 so we're calling that three inches thunder BCB break number 2 3 and 1/8 inch this is made by troy for frank proctor of the way of the gun which is his firearm school his shooting school and it's called the proctor muzzle break designed to be sort of a halfway point a gentle break that also works as a comp that doesn't make too much flesh does it make to much blasts all that stuff but we're testing recoil today so let's see how it does well I thought it had to do some blast to it actually and we are at three and a half inches dead-on Proctor muzzle break going for round two that time we are between three and five-eighths and three and six eighths so three and eleven sixteenths alright this is a bit of a joke this is the tough force muzzle break of Amazon fame it's actually covered in Picatinny rail you can mount accessories to it on any side it's a four way Picatinny rail if that sounds stupid that's because it is it has ports on it it shoots out gas obviously you don't want anything attached to your muzzle brake and it's aluminum so I'm actually a bit afraid that it's going to explode aluminum is not OK for a 5 5 6 muzzle break it's just not this is not on Amazon anymore I think they either had a lawsuit or realize this thing is a freaking lawsuit waiting to happen either someone blowing off a thumb by putting a forward grip on their stupid effing muzzle break or because it exploded or something but anyway I'm still throwing it in because it's kind of hilarious and I bought it to throw it in spent actual money on it so you're gonna watch it suck and you're gonna like it alright I shielded my face and body as much as I could but it looks like it didn't explode and it did between 5 and 5/8 and five and six eighths so that's five and eleven sixteenths I really don't want to but tough force Picatinny rail break number two that time six inches this is the V 7 weapon systems fury on short of 4 inches that's 3 and 15/16 v 7 fury on take 2 v 7 Furion take 2 4 + 1 8 very good looking break there this one's a bit of a weird duck that may say so myself it's the v7 weapon systems muzzle break aptly named that's weird because has your typical side-to-side port and then in front of it a front down vertical port I have never seen that before not exactly sure why you would do that but let's find out glad to be in the bees we're getting close to done here just enjoyed my launch of a Clif Bar and some water please like and subscribe it's short of five inches that's four and fifteen sixteenths these seven weapon systems muzzle break test to same thing again four and fifteen sixteenths venom defense has quite the Instagram following it's great if you like Machine work because they machine some cool stuff this is their to chamber comp which has really become the go-to for 308 but I got it in five five six a while ago we'll see how it works this one is stainless steel but their claim to fame really besides the stuff looking cool and the grips looking cool is that you can order this in a bunch of different materials like copper and brass and titanium and others different finishes lots of neat stuff let's see if it actually works definitely works that's three and a half inches venom to chamber Kump take two but the awesome blouse that of that thing especially up as far as I could see out of the corner of my eye a big fireball going up and that time or just shy of three and five-eighths I'm going to call that three and 9/16 next up also from venom defense is a three chambered cup in copper this is much closer to what they sell right now four five six two two three I got it a while ago they've slightly refined their design instead of two big ports on the top it's for smaller ones this rear chamber is slightly different I think looking from the pictures but it's very similar to what you would get four five five six one half by twenty eight certainly cool-looking in copper let's see how she performs quite well indeed that's three and one sixteenth number two for the copper venom 3 and 1/8 that time pretty freakin good now we have the Voodoo innovations a company owned by Adams arms this is their jet Kulp same company that makes the Barrel on my Adams arms upper here between 3 and 1/8 and 3 into 8 so that's three and 3/16 voodoo jet come around to that time we got three and two eights nice performance you are looking at the weapon Tech Punisher comp it's a pretty cool design it's a flash hider with ports cut into it for recoil reduction and it is a compensator as well this slot on the top start sooner than the slot on the bottom and therefore gas vents out of it first and that directs the muscle down a little bit this was designed by Dmitri the same dude with weapon tech and primary arms who designed the acss reticle that I absolutely love that's in this scope here that's the primary arms 1 2 8 X a CSS anyway we did this in the flash lighting test it worked pretty well and we will see now if it reduces recoil that's definitely a yes we got 5 and 7/8 weapon Tech Punisher take 2 5 and 1/2 this time pretty nice again this is one of those devices that you said is its primary function reducing recoil and we probably say no it's flash lighting mostly compensation keep that muzzle nice and steady no ringing tines and Rico reduction and all-around break like an all-around device or out there like that a fab so pretty nice good job all right I'm so happy to say that this is last but certainly it isn't least this is the white sound defense fossa 5 5 6 suppressing compensator this did amazing in the flash hiding test really really well basically tied for first place excellent flash hider it is a really unique design it's a three prong but this bottom prong is much wider than these top two so it does get timed and it does go on the bottom that leaves one slot on the top two going out at angle so it does compensate for muscle rise it's going to push the muzzle down and as you can see on this one the tines actually get fatter as they get to the muzzle so the slot size the actual I guess space or volume in the slot is bigger here than it is at the tip the opening in the front is smaller than it is in the back the idea is that it directs gas out it kind of works like a baffle like a single baffle break that's the idea at least I've been very curious about this and I am very excited to see how it does all right well obviously we had weirwoods recoil but it's not as much as just a straight flash hider which you would expect to thai bear muzzle basically we had shy of nine inches it is eight and fifteen sixteenths inches white sound fossa five five six test - all right nice to see that sort of consistency that time we are just past eight and six eighths shy of eight and seven eight so that's going down as eight and thirteen sixteenths at the end of all these tests I was running fair muzzle again as a control just as make sure that we're still consistent make sure that it's sliding as close as possible obviously to when we first did bare muzzle to make sure nothing changed during the course of the test for whatever weird reason so I'll show you that we've done all what 45 46 something breaks oh that was a heck of a test I am tired let's do this one last time make sure we're still where we should be and we'll call it a day yeah we're just past 11 inches got 11 and a half in the beginning it's not a hundred percent perfect but it's pretty darn close and I'm just gonna do the one call a kid I'm tired that was a good day of testing guys thank you so much for joining me out here in the woods for muzzle brake test number three four five five six I've got a lot of great data today it's gonna take me forever to put it all together make the Excel Doc's make the graphs edit this video together but it's a lot of fun I do enjoy doing it please do like and subscribe especially if you would share this with people who are interested in muzzle brakes and of course don't forget to follow that link to the truth about guns comm because that's where all the good information is plus photos of all the breaks and more information links to the manufacturers size weight all that great stuff is on there see you out here next time hey guys what's up thanks for watching all the way to the end here it is exactly a week later it's next Sunday I'm out here in the woods same gun same sled approximately the same weight as closest I could get I don't remember exactly what it was basically my goal the first time was just to get it to slide like 11 inches at the bear muzzle what I wanted to do is two things actually one since the m4 72 and the titan were so close and the titan is a new champion in three tests where this has one two and five six one in 30 Cal I figured you know what let's do them back-to-back switch them around a few times do three different kinds of ammo I want to be sure like really really really sure that this guy does indeed beat out the reigning champ on recoil reduction just rule out all the variables make sure everything was good they were a few minutes apart in that test last time like 10 minutes apart I'm just gonna you know do them back-to-back make sure it's cool and we have the Armageddon tactical breakout here again I ran a thread tap through it cleaned up those threads it did remove some metal it fits perfectly on the rifle now so I'm going to test this out obviously it's not valid compared to everything that you just saw those other 43 or 44 breaks because there's a different rig it slides a little bit differently but we will get a good idea of how this performs on recoil reduction will still get a percentage of reduction we'll see how it compares to these two guys here and how it compares to the bare muzzle and that'll be some valid information on this if you're curious about it is a good looking break the finish is very nice the machining is excellent I mean really top-notch so I'm willing to say that was a complete and total fluke and I actually emailed these guys they said hey no problem you know we'll send you a warranty replacement with a prepaid shipping label so you can send that one back and we'll look at what happened and all that stuff they they said they're going to step up their inspections to you know inspect one out of ten run up top Europe make sure everything's cool I don't know exactly what happened on this that they might be able to tell me later but minor issue really considering how easily they were about replacing it and again I ran a tap through it and now it's fine and so we'll run that yeah let's do it all right that's better we're gonna call it good this is where my first couple tests were landing that's nine and five-eighths second time just to ensure some consistency just past nine and two eighths so we're doing pretty good let's go ahead and test one of the brakes test number one with the armor getting tactical compensator slash brake and surprisingly excellent performance out of that actually I wasn't expecting that big of a reduction we are at exactly three and five-eighths let's do a number two that time it is shy of three and seven eighths but more than six so that is three and thirteen sixteenths nice alright switching up the order of our top two this time SJC Titan is going to go first Wow and she barely moves it's between two and two eighths and two and three eighths so that's two and five-sixteenths test2 for the Titan with the original ammo two and a quarter two and two eight so within 1/16 of that first slide that's switched to the M for 72 shot number one with the precision armament m47 and for 72 original ammo man we are close close close but definitely farther with this guy two and a half dad on number two of them 472 hello slightly shorter that's two and 3/8 so still both of those shots were farther than both of the shots from the Titan what I'm going to do is take the scope off of this guy lighten this up even more I want to get farther down this yardstick with both of them and that way the difference between them will be bigger we'll be able to see it even clearer and be even more certain all right scope is off the strip down race car rig should slide farther I will just leave the m4 72 on and do test one same ammo I'm surprised it didn't actually slide that much farther it's just shy of three and a quarter that's to eight I'm going to call it three and 3/16 and we're gonna switch back to the Titan now same ammo no scope with the Titan oh yeah she is shorter by a big margin this time I'm gonna call it two and eleven sixteenths it's just it's halfway between five and six eighths so eleven sixteenths it is and definitely definitely no question with this ammo it wins over the m4 72 reduces recoil by more let's try with two other brands of ammo and then we're gonna call it a day okay this time we're going to shoot a federal Lake City m855 62-grain NATO spec by five six and that definitely pushed us farther which makes sense because that bullet has more mass the bullet is responsible for more of the rear roads inertia now as opposed to the gas as a ratio that makes any sense we're over three now but not quite two three and five-eighths so that is three and 9/16 do one more and we'll switch the brakes test number two with the Titan and m855 similar result we are 1/16 short of three and a half which has three and 7/16 m47 and two is on let's see how it does with the m855 well that seemed like a pretty good fireball I'm excited to see the slow-mo and we are more than 3 and 7/8 but not quite 4 so that's 3 and 15/16 I made 5 5 round number 2 got a little bit consistency that's it's a hair past 4 inches but it's shy of the 16th mark so I am just going to call that 4 inches and we do again still have a winner it's the Titan it is indeed the Titan and I have to say the Titan has less blast than this thing not concussion so much but the m4 72 puts out hot wind that you could feel of course some of that is because I'm right here I'm next to the rifle and these vents are aiming at me from behind the gun actually shooting doesn't much matter that you will feel wind from this thing I don't feel as much from the titan this obviously has more fireball I think and I say the Titan is a little more pleasant to shoot it is of course bigger not a ton bigger but it's longer and heavier and they look different but if you are looking to reduce recoil the Titans the best thing on the market before we call it quits I'm going to do one more ammo happen to have this it's from Liberty ammunition it's their Silverado there are lead-free they're 55 grain and it's 2 to 3 I don't think it's loaded quite as hot as the last things I've been shooting actually 3,000 feet per second it's relatively hot yeah but I'm gonna shoot one through this swap the brakes shoot one through the Titan and let's see what happens yeah I didn't slide as much as the heavier bullet we're at three and two eights bringing a quarter dead on and the final test Titan with the Liberty Silverado and it crushes it under three inches it's a little more than two and three quarters six eighths not quite seven eighths well right in the middle exactly actually so two and thirteen sixteenths if I'm doing my math correct they'd have it guys indisputable proof the SJC titan has dethroned the precision armament m4 72 as king of the recoil reduction hill and it actually has less blast and fire to boobs nice job there I'm looking forward to using this for maybe future tests although gosh we've gone through a lot of the market now hope this was helpful if you're making a buying decision or just curious along with the first two tests of course I would love it if you guys subscribe shared and go to t-type for that link with all the information see out here in the
