blood and this relates particularly to the blood sacrifice tonight we shall understand preservation by the blood in scripture tonight we shall also understand the ability of the blood to preserve we shall understand the preservation power of the blood in scripture the ability of the blood to preserve and we shall understand how to maximize the power of the blood through our scripture the blood is a tool a weapon for preservation of lives and destinies the deeper your understanding the stronger your faith we're going to look at many examples first adam and eve when they fell in the garden of eden in genesis chapter 3 and in verse 21 the bible said and unto adamus and to his wife did the lord god make coats of skins and clothed them coats of skins what is the mean of that to you adam and eve sinned and according to scripture god told them the day you eat that fruit you shall die and of course the wages of sin is dead so there was imminent both physical and spiritual death the moment adam and eve ate the fruit god killed an animal and removed the skin of it literally with the blood in the skin and used it to clothe them that is an animal the blood of an animal had to go for the life of adam and eve to be preserved example number two the preservation of joseph when the children of israel children of jacob tried to deceive joseph and eventually cut him and sold him into slavery they were looking for what to say to their father when they got home and they never knew that what they thought was a a cunning plot was a preservation of the life of joseph in the book of genesis chapter 37 verse 31 genesis 37 31. and they took joseph's coat and killed a kid of the goats and dipped the coat in the blood god and they sent a coat of many colours and they brought it to their father and said this have we found know now whether it is your son's coat or not they thought they were playing a game not knowing that they had killed an animal ahead so that any debt that could have taken joseph in egypt has died now they literally they literally they literally they literally preserve the life of the one they wanted to kill [Music] by offering an animal's blood i made contact with joseph's life by using the coat of many colors and dipped it directly into that blood so when they came to joseph and they said we were 11 brethren but one has died joseph was looking at them they preserved his life without knowing because the blood makes atonement for the soul that was joseph's example how joseph was preserved by the blood we just read now example number three the children of israel in egypt in genesis chapter 12 and in verse 12 to 13 the dead angel was passing through the land and killing the first born in every house and the lord told the children of israel take an animal per house a ramp a house a lamp a house kill that animal and take the blood of that animal and place it on the doorpost of your houses on the lintels place the blood so that when i see the blood i will pass over while the dead angel was entering into houses and killing when he comes to your own house it will pass over by the mystery of the blood the born of israel could not be consumed with the first born of egypt by the power of the blood is god speaking to somebody here at all many times we shout the blood of jesus without knowing what is in the blood and i'd like you to understand that the old testament is a shadow of the new and we are seeing how israel was preserved in egypt by the mystery of the blood of jesus somebody lift up your right hand and say the blood of jesus in deuteronomy chapter 21 we are seeing the preservation of a community the preservation of the land by the blood in those days god said if a man is killed in the land and nobody knows who killed them and the whole land is guilty blood must be must go for blood so but what do you do in deuteronomy chapter 21 from verse 6 god gave a prescription all right back up a bit of rest for there about okay back on it back up a little bit all right maybe we'll start from verse one he said if one be found slain in the land which the lord your god given due to possess lying in the field and it is not known who killed him then the elders and the judges shall comfort and they shall measure unto the cities which are around about him that is slain and it shall be that the city which is next unto the slave man even the elders of that city shall have taken haifa which has not been roared which has not drawn the yoke and the others of the city are bringing down the hype and down the rock valley which is neither here nor sown and shall strike up the high fast neck shed the blood behind the valley and the priest the sons of liver shall come near for them the lord that god has chosen to minister unto him and to bless in the name of the lord and by the award shall every controversy and every stroke be tried and all the elders of that city that are next unto the slain man shall wash their hands over the heifer that is beheaded in the valley and they shall answer and say our hands have not shed this blood neither have our eyes seen it be merciful oh lord unto thy people israel whom that has to do and lay not in or send blood unto your people israel's church and the blood shall be forgiven them that is so shall you put away the guilt of finance and blood from among you when you shall do that which is right in the sight of the lord so if all of you are guilty of death because something happened you don't know apply the blood and then the land shall be free when the blood or that heifer is shed then freedom arrives for the land can somebody say aloud amen so we saw that in deuteronomy chapter 21 6-9 now we see another example of the preservation by the blood of rehab the harlot rehab and her family when the children of israel spies went to spy jericho they launched in the house of rehab rehab used a thread blood colored thread or rope and use it to take them over they shouted and the wall of jericho fell down flat there was a portion of the wall that did not fall the portion where rahab's house was sitting because israel went after everybody and died and opened the door and brought rehab out of the house that was still standing and the house of rehab was upon the city wall yeah i i don't know if anybody understand what i'm talking about here that is the house did not fall and not the soul died because there was a bloodline that covered the house tonight i prophesy to somebody here by the mystery of the blood you shall be preserved your family
