Apple Watch SE Unboxing and Customizing

hi loves welcome back to our channel this is jerry from dreaming craft shop and for today's video i'm going to be unboxing my new apple watch and showing you some of the accessories that i got for it so the watch that i got is the one of the new watches that i believe came out like a month ago and this is the i sorry this is the apple watch se and i chose silver aluminum case with a white support band and i chose the 40 millimeter it comes in 40 millimeter and 44 but i have a smaller wrist so i chose 40. uh and it actually it comes with the white sport band you can't really pick the band but i think that one will be cute anyway so let's go ahead and open it oh and if you're wondering about price i believe this one is 275 but after um taxes and everything it was about 307 and i bought this one at best buy so this is actually my first apple watch which i'm really excited about but that means i don't really know how to open this box there's an arrow so i'm thinking you just pull this this thing all right yeah that was right that was super easy put that aside the box is really nice and soft and sleek so i'm guessing this has something to do with opening it it's pretty cool let's see thank you maybe okay like that and then on this side it should be the same thing there we go and then this way oh that's cute there's like apple watch designs on here different ones i guess to show you how you can customize it all i'm gonna put it down so you guys can get a better look opens like that and then oh shoot i think i'm pumping it open so it looks like there's two boxes in here i'm guessing from the picture this one's gonna be the band and this one is the actual watch so i'm gonna put this aside for a second all right let's get into it i'm gonna open the band first because i'm kind of interested in what this band is like so let's see it says on the side 40 millimeter um sport band stainless steel pen uh all right how do we open it okay there's another little arrow sticker here so i'm gonna pull that and what did that do okay that makes it so that you can get in here i guess so i just squeezed this and it kind of made it easier so you just put there you go sorry i had so much trouble with that all right i'm gonna just pull everything out of this box so we have a paper i don't know i'll put that down and then this okay apple watch opens like this all right to attach bands slide until you hear a click to adjust i mean adjust band to fit close to your wrist for optimal performance okay so like this to remove band press button and slide out okay so we're just gonna slide it into the watch oh that's pretty okay so it says medium large here and small here i didn't realize that they come in sizes so i guess i'll use this i'm interested in how to click this on i guess we'll figure that out right now let me grab the actual uh watch device part so that's this and it's in this cute box so i'm just gonna jiggle it open all right designed by apple in california so this is the actual watch part but i'm going to take this part out first just to see what it is i think it's just more paperwork in here i don't really read those so i'll put it aside and then this part i'm guessing this is the charging cable but i'm not sure what this like white part is so how you charge it oh my god i'm so done that's how you charge it i thought you would like plug it into the the um watch but no just like this out i think i'm so scared to break this oh come on there you go oh my god i told you guys i've never had an apple watch and i'm so dumb i didn't i thought that you connect something into the apple watch but i guess it's like a wireless charger that's so cool i'm gonna put that aside okay so here's the actual watch itself it's super cute this is the back whoa that's so interesting you can see my kitty ring light [Music] it's cool cool all right let's go ahead and open this it's like a like a wax paper type of feel all right wow so shiny and beautiful i already put a smudge on it it's okay because i got a screen protector i'll show it to you guys apple watch that's so cool okay now let's put i don't want to put these bangs on because i didn't necessarily want the white so i'm just going to put this aside and i'll show you guys the accessories that i got for it and then we'll set it up i'm just going to clean up real quick all right so these are the accessories i got and i got them both on amazon just really quickly because i didn't this was kind of a surprise this apple watch for my mom a surprise early birthday gift because my birthday is coming up in november november 11th actually it's like 11 11 so she surprised me and took me to go grab this watch so i these are the quickest things that i could find on amazon that would get here within a couple days and i chose this little pink like case screen protector so it looks like this and it should just snap over the watch part the face plate of the watch and then it has a clear screen protector attached to it to like protect the screen from smudges and scratches and such so let's see the two buttons on this side so it should just snap in yeah so it's not been really easily like that and it gives like a cute little pearly pink finish to it which i think is so super adorable and there you go the screen is protected which i really appreciate so i'll put a link i got this on amazon i believe it was 9.99 or something like that i'll put a link in the um descript description box for you guys and also it came with this little um screen cleaner which i think is super cool and put that aside and then the next actually that accessory that i got is this apple watch band and i went for like a jelly colored it's like a it's like a jelly silicone material with a glitter in it and i chose the pink this color it came in different colors and i'll also put a link to that in the description so let's see actually in person it looks a lot more like peach color to be honest in the picture i looked really pink but in person it looks peach so that's something to think about but i mean i like it it's like a warm warm pink i'll probably get the other colors too because they have like blue purple and like uh clear and red different colors so i'm hoping that this is just like the ones that came in the box because it said you just kind of slide it in so i'm hoping that that's the same thing but how are you gonna know which side or does it not matter let's see that doesn't seem to slide in very easily so maybe it's meant for this side oh yeah that went in super easily they said until you hear a click right oh there you go so now on this side this one yeah okay okay got a little resistance there all right i got it and you just gotta i was kind of a little scared you just kind of have to press it until it clicks and then it's in there so this is how she looks super glittery and sparkly super cute i'm really happy with that i'm gonna try it on so let's go put it down like this maybe there so it's a little loose and then it goes through these two straps like this it's kind of loose actually i probably should have done it like a little tighter i'm going to go ahead and do that a little tighter really quick off nicer fit i think it's super cute i'm really happy with the fit and i'm really happy with the look too so definitely recommend these items from amazon so cute all right now let's turn it on i'm pretty sure that that's the on button so i'm just gonna hold it and see if that kind of turns it on alright there you go it's on now all right that actually took a few seconds but it's on now so i'm gonna go ahead i don't know why it's in a different language what do we do do we just like tap the screen press the button again information okay there we go english united states open the apple watch app on your iphone and start pairing apple watch so let's see [Music] okay kind of popped up right away right there continue that's cool it's kind of like the um oh my god you can't jump on my chair nova it's kind of like the um airpods where you just open them and they pair to your phone right away so okay i'm going to set this up for myself put on your apple watch and hold it up to the camera hmm like this whoa your apple watch is paired that is so cool all right let's set her up set up apple watch connecting your apple watch this may take a moment all right we're going to agree to the terms and conditions agree again this may take a moment what is this workout route tracking sure enable apple watch share settings okay enable so basically sharing the information from my phone to my watch let's see oh my god i put it on upside down guys did i really do that how embarrassing hold on let me switch it alright we're back so i guess now we're gonna pick the select your preferred reading experience bam bam bam i think that's good for me continue continue create a passcode hold on guys ooh so you enter the passcode on your actual watch so i'm going to do that off screen then it asks you to re-enter all right now it's oh that's weird now it's saying setup activity okay my birthday is november 11 like i said earlier 11 11 birth year 1989 i'm gonna do this really quick off off screen so then it asks about a daily move goal output i don't know moderate set move goal set exercise goal set stand goal continue pay add cards set up later in the watch i'm going to add the payments later it has an emergency sos install available apps some apps on your phone work with your apple watch you can install all these apps now or choose to later we're going to choose later for now apple watch is syncing your apple watch is almost ready you'll get an alert when it's done so you can use your iphone as you normally would all right cool so i think we're gonna just put this down and let it sync up i'll come back when it's ready actually while it's syncing i was noticing some stuff on the watch it already has the time 103 and then there's some apple watch basics so i guess this thing you know that this area is the display this little round guy here is the digital crown and then this is the side button so if they're referring to something like that that's what they're referring to and i wonder if i can press anything or that's just that okay for display tap to select and swipe to scroll and move so we're going to be learning about it okay press and hold to change the watch face so you press down on the watch face to change and hold it i'm guessing tap and swipe the top edge of the screen to see your notifications okay the top edge tap and then swipe okay um tap and swipe the button uh the button edge of the screen to access additional controls that's down there cool done all right it looks like the phone is done syncing your apple id and phone number are now being used for imessage and facetime on a new apple watch if you recently signed into jericho's apple watch you can ignore this notification okay cool oops where was that it's still sinking okay never mind let's look at what else so after display let's see what we can do with the digital crown it says press to return to the watch face so i guess every time we press this we'll return to the watch face press and hold to talk to siri that's cool um turn to scroll zoom or adjust that's super interesting all right done next is the side button it says press to show the dock already it says your watch is ready press the digital crown to start so we're going to press that in like this and all right so this is the face it said you can change them by pressing down and holding right okay so this one is meridian we can edit or we can add new so this is the dial color it's black like it says how do you change it multi-color i think i like the black the most so we'll just go ahead and keep that [Music] if we add new we think that is not the only option okay you can scroll up to see more options i'm gonna hit cancel for now see what it says on the phone all right it's on the watch on the phone it says welcome to apple watch and it has my watch adjust settings organize apps customize your watch faces there's the face gallery browse watch faces and add them to your collection and also apple watch apps so let's check that out all right so here are the my faces and i believe this is um like the controls and everything for the app so i'm pretty sure that in here we'll be able to change the background because i've seen people have like these really cute backgrounds so that's what i want to do today okay so from here it's really easy to add the image to the back to your watch face all you do is go to the image and i have an image selected here and then you're going to hit this button and scroll down to add watch face which is our create watch face so we're going to hit that button and we can do a kaleidoscope like this but i want to do a photo like this description a new photo appears every time you raise your wrist or tap the display you can choose the set of photos that you'd like i'm going to go for one photo right now yeah one photo you can choose up to 24 photos so i'm going to start with one time position i kind of like it at the top but let me try the bottom actually it looks better on the bottom because it doesn't cover corona or melody then we have complications is that what that says complications that's funny below time and above time no i think it's fine okay so we're just now that that's done i think we can just go back to choose wait i think we have to hit add there we go so now that should be there we can come back to the app and we'll pick that as the face um position top set as i'm going to set as current watch face and then hit back and that should there you go so now we have a chromium melody background on our watch so it's super cute so that was just a quick little um customization to show you guys how i customized my watch to start with i'm sure i'm going to be buying more accessories and doing more cute things with the watch and learning more about it since this is my first watch so if you guys want to um see any of that let me know and
