all right was good again everybody Chris here again Chris goes outdoors we are a quarter way through the Appalachian Trail and I just want to show you by popular demand what a typical resupply looks like for me so I'll just show you quick exactly what I carry everything around in how I cook right there the food bag Cuban fibers II packed food bags is what I store everything in soaks 550 milliliter pot that I cook everything in soaks long handle spoon BRS still got it for like 13 bucks on Amazon mini Begleiter I keep it right in that pouch so in no particular order we come over here Chex Mix snack food of Champions love this stuff delicious delicious hard not to eat the entire bag this right here is just some trail mix I found over at Dollar Tree so it's like a dollar a pack and it's a really good for what you get pop-tarts got to have them pop-tarts these are the limited edition vanilla lattes Dunkin Donuts pop-tarts they're pretty good that's pretty delicious typically we'll eat one of them at breakfast occasionally first snack over here we have the protein well some of the protein anyway typically we'll eat this for lunch or dinner about chunk light tuna in water I typically try to get the one in sunflower oil just because it is more fat more calories but the store just did not have it at the time pick these up these are honey barbecue ones that I haven't tried they look pretty appetizing and figure why not spend the singles self-explanatory us both but pretty good pretty good protein whatever it works over here this is typically what I do for breakfast I call it my breakfast cocktail so I have a multivitamin right here this is instant coffee these are just a couple left over small taxes instant coffee I had and then I have a protein powder it's a chocolate soy based protein powder just because it was the cheapest one available at the store so I figured I'd go with that so I'll go probably two scoops of this two big old spoonfuls of this one of these and I mix it all together in a Powerade bottle and I will drink that in typically eat a pop-tart or these right here for breakfast so just get some granola bars so I'll typically do two of them and a protein shake or one of those packets and a protein shake but I do highly recommend anyway the protein powder it's great and I've really been enjoying this for the mornings it's pretty quick to make and it keeps you fueled pretty well for you know in the morning until lunchtime so I trill staple right here ramen they make all sorts of different flavors but I'm pretty sure they're all the exact same thing so just got the chicken flavor one I've had the shrimp I've had oriental what is oriental flavor III don't know but they all taste the same you can also eat this as one of our original acquaintances on the trail called it as crackhead soup so you just crunch it all up sprinkle the seasoning on it and just eat it like potato chips and I've had to do it a couple times from the food bag was from the lowly and it works surprisingly well try it don't knock it till you try it especially if you've been hiking for like a month and a half and you're just hungry all the time used to become a staple for me to Idahoan instant potatoes you boil 2 cups of water I throw these in mix it you're done end a story so very simple I really enjoy the buttery homestyle ones they make a ton of different kinds I've probably tried about eight of them and either my go-to so got some candy and such starburst love those things can't beat them in my opinion anyway I have some butter fingers in there as well I'll typically I always get starbursts but then I'll switch up whatever the second candy is right here I think a peanut butter I will typically just eat this straight from the straight from the thing straight from the jar so extra crunchy is pretty good nice little thing a fad for you it is a little bit heavy but you know it is what it is I love peanut butter so another trail staple we have some noir pop decides right here well Asian sides bright sides or whatever you want to call them personal favorite teriyaki noodles right here very very good I also have the chicken flavor fettuccine because I thought it was actually the chicken flavored rice and it wasn't so I typically don't get that kind but those two right there the chicken flavor right and the teriyaki noodles are my favorite of those two that red thing was for my Sawyer I just allows me to use my soy water filter as a gravity-fed system and then right over here we have some propel pour that into water for you know a little electrolyte replacement at the end of the day or something and yes that will do it all right now it's going to wrap it up back on the trail tomorrow so if you have any questions comments concerns recommendations even feel free to drop them in the comments in the video like comment subscribe if you care to greatly appreciate it especially if you enjoyed the video and yeah we will see you in the next one take a
