AoE4 Hardest AI 1v7: Abbasids vs Every Other Civ

welcome to the judge of obelisk my name is john today i'm going to be attempting a one versus seven against the harness ai and team one everyone else's team two playing the a basset and the other sieves are all these seven other civs mixed together and we're playing on black forest to make things a little bit easier so we can get some good warning going also our bassets obviously have a nice um bonus that the dark costs half as much which is going to make our early fish boom a little bit quicker and then we can also uh construct some seasons with our infantry which is another nice bonus because we're not winning 107 which is making regular units we want to make an invincible siege ball and so the ability to make sprinkles and manganals with our infantry is going to come in quite handy there also bastards just generally have a fairly decent economy look at these bonuses from the house of wisdom once you get to like tier one and eventually tier two you get some nice equal bonuses there are some nice unique upgrades we can take with the bassets in the beginning we wanna find our wood line and make a dock right away we'll see where a woodland is but when you're playing with this biggest map setting [Music] you can sometimes get a very far away wood line this one is closest it's gonna get um right make a house here on the way hello okay and yeah i'm gonna put these guys here onto food and i don't really care too much about the sheep i'm going to get a thumb here but the most important thing here is i'm going to click the other tree no can i just click it's the wrong tree whatever so um actually needs a cancellous upgrade although he's not going to have enough food for king of the next villager so we're going to see where the entrance to our base are the most important part sheep are not that important because we're going to be getting um fishing anyway so we don't need to be in sheep very early sort of scout around our own base we're going to put some more into wood first we're going to need to make fishing sheets okay here's like a and turn the kind of one like here and maybe like here so you get the gold as well we're going to need lots of gold here um in this game because we're going to be sitting behind walls for a long time um don't forget to keep too hot that dark very important and i want to see like what are the entrances to my base okay that's not actually an entrance okay all right so there's like a sort of cul-de-sac there there's nothing much happening you can also just wall here and here um if that's open here let's make a house of wisdom i'm gonna like here maybe and we're gonna go on gold don't forget to keep up constant production hopefully we'll have a lot of wood here yeah we do all right so this is closed off so usually when you're playing like this one was one version of black frost you usually only have two or three entrances to your base but in the eighth player version you can get considerably more entrances all right let's go into gold here we need a house as well like it's actually connects or actually a bit late on the house i believe it too you cue up this thing as well once you have enough lumber to drop a lot of lumber here well next uh necessary to foster up there these guys are done with their sheep and um yeah let me put these guys onto berries you want to mail anyway so we can make um our wheelbarrow upgrades all right so i think seems like we only have these three entrances here here and here this little one we'll see scout here see if there's something more there and you want more onward i'm gonna put a few off goals here in a second i think because once you have enough for our hand card you don't need sold that urgently i'll make one of these here i want to make like about 10 fishing ships oh there's another entrance here okay uh you can make like a narrow wall there oh it looks like we have four entrances let's upgrade hotkey wisdom all right you want to start swallowing now be extra safe the wall here a bit in front so we can draw behind then later um okay we're gonna pull some guys off of gold that's the closest donut this is fine put some onto stone because you want to get some more we want to make tcs obviously also needs guys and wood this upgrade should have gotten been gotten earlier fine okay uh actually we don't want these guys on food right now i want them to go on wood maybe get a [Music] lumber can here one of them also needs to wall like this let's finish walling and we want that stone as well okay let's get this done as well using enemy scouts don't care about that too much these guys can also go off of this and um onto we've got um fuel we got this upgrade here all right he's almost finished rolling okay you actually also want to make some stone walls but not quite yet we want our tc's first and let's roll into gold let's get we're getting some more upgrades okay she's finished [Music] okay which of course do we need this upgrade now actually let's get the wood upgrade first you have a lot more wood um all right clean on the right side of the wall yeah okay so now we fully walked now we are fully walled um yeah that should be holy walls okay just like i'll start out at the base just to make sure that they're actually fully walls and i want to make a second tc over there right should be somewhere here oh 30cc runner that's our second pc and we're not really making any units right now we're just booming all the upgrades and then once we have enough resources we're going to get it go up with the culture wing and let's make it here [Music] behind and i actually want to avoid then being too much on this wood line so it doesn't get dropped through and that's a decent amount of fish still left here yeah i can afford to make like two more fishing ships here idols okay stonewalls are finished here and just like as as on regular walls getting attacked we're just gonna add in some stone walls um let's see i'm gonna make a tower here not should be necessary but you know might as well all right this is also getting attacked so we're also going to stumble on this and i'll actually should be rattling way more on the gold now at least i need to be on food to get our food from fishing we want to be spending much in the way of food anyway only these upgrades yet this is fine this is fun all the upgrades here listen to gold and you can we have i don't have this yet i need to make some more buildings so we can connect everything all right you put it into one um so now we're going to go up to ah let's go over here moving attack it's fine let's just make another set of stone walls just for the sake of completeness and i don't really plan on attacking anytime soon so you need to put any gates there let's connect this all right now we can go up with the culture wing and as we're going up we're also gonna make a few um production buildings so we can make siege with those okay this is fine i mean the stonewall tower is not really important but it sort of helps the annoyances still fine um although i can actually just make a store touch to be safe here one more here don't forget to make villages all right this should be safe i'm making another tower just extra safety as well i said that's pretty optional and i'm wrecking a lot of resources but that's fine make a few units here smooth and make some infantry units so that we can [Music] make some seeds now with the uh bonus that the ambassadors have make sure that all of our buildings are still doing fine we'll repair that tower repair from that side of the wall as well i was actually taking some damage this is our lawyer okay just going to retreat her i'm going to lose if we can avoid it and you want to keep connecting our buildings so we'll need you don't need these right now we might as well make them because you can eat them eventually so everything's connected we'll also add in a market to help balance our economy okay this is fine all right you want to get let's upgrade this one it's the most important upgrade and then go here and start making some manganals oh right here right so we'll make some arches um we'll actually also make some deeds workshops so we can get upgrades for our siege and also makes an extra siege you can have too much seats actually repairing the dive and these towers don't really matter too much um there we go i think everything's connected like how many buildings do i have 25 so i'm getting getting into tier 2 pretty soon um let's get some upgrades as well also hotkey my market so we can uh what okay we actually kind of housed all right everything's dead here so we're just going to have like i can see what's happening there they have rams yet no they don't so then i don't care but just to be safe i'm going to make mangonels everywhere ah good hotkeys in this game um how much do we need a little bit more food so we can actually start rallying some here onto berries which is actually more efficient than sheep here as well an idol all right do we have any hands here no we don't i know someone buries and a few here onto sheep okay what's happening here this thing being attacked use manganese here to defend i'm gonna make a mangano there i'm not and um let's do this how can these guys get all sorts of upgrades that they have over other seats or most other seats that they can shoot over walls i'm actually housed again connecting houses here this is getting attacked it's a very high volume magnum roll there actually mega housed um i need a little bit more food and just buy some food to accelerate everything and then we go up with the military wing the last thing doesn't have too much um there's some upgrades here whatever whatever is still fine making mangonels actually also a siege workshop we get this upgrade like more angles there okay um some villages in there a few more that is not super important but anyway all right let's see these hordes of people gathering here i'm gonna keep making manganos so that they don't break through because they have a breakthrough we're gonna be in a spot of trouble to fly we also have already tier 2 activated there and yeah guys starting to get idle because the deep-sea fish is running out okay and now we'll make all these [Music] attacked here okay those make a lot of magmas sprinkle is not that important because you can't shoot our over our own walls because in a normal game in the mid game we want to make lots of spring holes and yeah all right so they've taken all the second side so we need to um get a move on here and organize a bit of a push and then we'll take out probably this side and that's going to be our objective but we have a little bit of time there so we are obviously we need this and this and all right so we're going to get adding some hand cannons as well but then we're gonna make the upgrades health and do that time for magnus maybe we'll make a lot of bombards all right and if you guys can go over here and diversify our economy a bit and i want a university as well madrasa whatever that calls here [Applause] [Music] all right we're getting lots of value with these guys and i'll just gather everything up into a giant ball like a little bit to defend on that side and then we're going to push out here we've got some cannons cannons are really wanted to put this over the edge these villages can go into gold here have a future menu on food and flash our lumber camp as well have eight more minutes and that should be completely fine and we're starting to get a little bit of almost drops here because we're playing at 7a eyes so that's to be expected that's fine we're just gonna have a mostly um infantry and mostly um siege army but we'll get some upgrades all the upgrades and actually want even more guys onto gold yeah you can go into gold all right is going to be our bombards all right we're gonna start deleting some fishing ships those are not that efficient anymore when you only have um shellfish left four cannons here should be enough so our goal here is to get this as well why not always idol these guys can sort of push out here with us the castles for us i'm actually gonna delete some of these [Music] and my goal actually here is to make a wonder but you need to take out the sacred sides first because that's a faster victory condition like it says take 10 minutes and wonders uh only oneness only i want to take 15 minutes oh there's a bunch of nice oh that's a bit unfortunate all right so how do we get to the sacred side let's just attack me this uh all right just passing here okay i think he's not very smart taking these along with us make like some castles here okay the air is just so stupid it looks really exactly in this vulnerable cannon there um okay this is my only gold left we're actually going to take like a second anything here make it safer over here and then attack all right these guys are idle and it's going to make a castle here no gold anywhere nearby and they can also make a what is it a mosque all right so now can we sell some resources oh we actually get really good food prices right now what we do is make a wonder but and the second we're going to retreat from there um where's my scout and scout of this year that's actually blocked off okay only like two entrances well no don't don't go away from there you don't want him to capture the sacred side um we've got all the important upgrades here for our age here let's get this cannons for now and performance the stone wall there it performs really dropping now all right all those people i'm gonna stop making promise one two three four five six seven eight nine ten two three four five whatever and then it's necklace cannon almost is really killing me right now you guys are all idle um repair okay to hold on for a little bit longer here and eventually we make those walls this is not gonna stand for long like another one here and it's not really a position working really micro properly so let's just try to make do what we can do like some more barracks or some cheap meat shields oh my army's not moving hold up found these guys in the way do you think 911 everything is like red we know what's happening here in this game also everything is smoking not helping all right get that up and we're actually holding here i think okay i will zero gold income right now this could be a problem how much do we getting here no it's not too bad a little bit of food also to loan food though all right now second side no not yet let's make some placements here placement so we can keep this alive a little bit longer we need to keep this alive um for just a minute longer because then um i'm not exactly active if the timer resets or if it that clips from where it was earlier i'm gonna try to hold it for as long as you can um adding a few more archers probably low on gold all right and now you can start walling again if at all possible and you're so low on supply that we can actually make a few more villages [Music] there's also a stone so we can run it down that's actually closer i'll be driving these guys back so you know real wall actually there's also a wall that we need to renew here just like delete this way there you go oh he's being attacked right now oh it's not good it's not good um all right let's come here all right we have um let's see what's happening here okay it's gonna eventually get that sacred science it's millions for me to return that just probably made like a second little walls now okay [Music] okay um go over here we'll have all the upgrades actually nothing need updates anymore this game is going to be over soon enough before the upgrades actually kick in add a second layer walls here just for extra safety i gotta take so long okay go through and making more walls it was a freaking dead deer that's blocking the walls and what's up the walls okay there we are are these guys dying now that's okay i haven't got taken the second side uh you need to hold on for another seven minutes and 50. oh um yeah there we are um i have no gold well the prices are in the bottom right you want to get the and your arrows and this also a mystery position stone chemistry is important all right we're here and i cannot drop resources when the tc is damaged are you freaking serious it's also no i guess garrison them and then they drop the resources off i think yeah that's the only way if i can drop blocking of resources if you if you're garrison that should not be a thing share some of the villages here [Music] all right so this should be safe just add another layer of walls just for extra triple safety all right now the invincible siege ball here so that should be going all right that's the prices here so we have he hasn't yet taken the second science and that's very good for me actually i'll skip the scout as i might kill a um lone piece thing that comes there i'm actually out of gold completely i think they're really bad at night for his ais okay um it says another five minutes i apologize the video is a bit choppy or something the performance issues here nothing done about that though um yeah it's really good stack affirmations you have some secret okay actually these are dark experiment that's not not the best they want to make a little better dance i all can okay i actually got the third here of the golden engine for the first time for that during this game um all right i can get back to work and i'm so low on on supply and might just mix my villages okay can we push these guys back here so you can actually wall um i'm gonna end in some manga nails as well and i'm also gonna add in no more ultra ranges i'd also be adding stables actually i'm going to do that i'm going to add in some stables and make some scouts this is a cheap trashiness blocks you're not really being attacked here that's too slow of an attack this is the only thing you need to focus on and yeah as long as it's just like a one-dimensional fight here in the sea just undefeatable basically and yeah i just need some cheap cheap meat uh meat shields um do you want the upgrades for the spearmint i probably arms much better mutuals anyway you need to create a before gold actually like gold right outside of our base but that's not something you can realistically take right now and one of the prices here that's actually pretty decent prices for wood here it's a little bit more stone the price is normalizing somewhat all right so we've pushed them back successfully we can make oh actually there's a bunch of units here [Music] all right you can walk behind we have mobile ledges here all right all island villagers go here make this wall add in some more manganals because of cheap goals all right some scouts as well and yeah it's another minute so that he will win um actually allows to make the walls okay another set of walls and now we just win guys i think it's actually also very much viable to just like win regular by just pushing it's going to be harder against seven opponents but once you have like this really close to the siege ball you're not really losing it because the ai it's not really smart enough right against this and just to focus down that siege and okay they get eventually gonna break through here but it's too late for them 90 seconds left okay can we make another gate here yeah it's like a good enough army to defend everything and now we are gonna win okay so that's how you win one against seven ais albeit it's on a very defensible map obviously an open map is gonna be much much harder um but yeah there you have it wonder seven victory let's look at some of the stats to round out this video and [Music] look at this very slow animation for victory i'm not sure why it takes 10 seconds but that's what happens here we look at the timeline we actually didn't have that many units our linear count is uh kind of low because you have the sea genes which cost three supply um village account you see we had a much better boom here up to about you know a little bit over 100 villages and then kind of fell off because you stopped making villages and you know my eyes seems to be making pretty consistent amount of villages there but it's not then it's not really important once our economy is fully established we're just trying to defend our wonder and keep them from winning with um the second science yeah that is uh how you defeat seven eyes uh in age of empires four
