Another Pricey eBay Coin Grab Bag! Mystery Box with Silver and PCGS. Was It Worth It? Coin Snobz

hey everybody and welcome back to another coin snobs vidya as you can see here and again probably read from the title we have another mystery bag why because i like opening them and i think you guys like watching us open them so what the heck here we go again now this one was 50 bucks plus seven bucks shipping and handling so a little bit on the higher end of grab bags but i mean you know it's all about the mystery as usual let's check out the uh the ebay uh listing real quick mystery coin bag a fun mysterious mix shipped with usps first class package anyway hi all i just wanted to create a fun way to keep collecting for those of us not doing our normal routines right now which is cool that's something that i kind of specify with every one of these grab bag videos if you can't get outside or you don't feel comfortable getting outside right now with the whole thing going on in the world uh grab bags can be kind of fun again not necessarily the most cost effective but it's fun the mystery is there so here it is a mix of us coins currency and probably world coins and currency as well all right sounds kind of exciting i also like the fact that uh it says down here i can semi customize these so feel free to shoot me your likes and i can build the mystery around that or even around a certain date often all right so usual caveat applies don't expect to find anything in here that's gonna make you rich or pay off a vehicle or anything like that this is mostly for fun uh occasionally you can find something super cool in there where you know maybe the the seller didn't care to look for varieties or errors or anything like that but typically this is just for fun this is all about the mystery also i am going to include the ebay price with shipping above just like an average price above each item so that you can kind of tell uh what you would expect to pay for it on ebay just comparing apples to apples that way you know we get a good idea of what the ebay value i guess you would say would be and i understand that you can get these at you know cheaper local coin stores things like that but that's not what this is about this is just about the mystery grab bags and for somebody who has the internet then that's it somebody that doesn't necessarily want to or can go outside this is a fun option anyways let's go ahead and hit it bring out the scissors of truth terror of lies and the occasional soy sauce packet and let's find a good way to open this i'm thinking right about here i don't want to get too nasty with those scissors obviously it's definitely been packaged well it is literally in a [Music] tape cocoon [Music] all right it has been removed from its tape sarcophagi i probably didn't even say that right but whatever you mystery and thanks okay let's open this up little by little kind of get an idea this is definitely a mystery bag for sure it is literally a bag oh what do we got here oh royal canadian mint [Music] i always like getting stuff like this because you know being in the u.s we just never even really think to get these man those are pretty [Music] blinding those are cool [Music] 1989 it looks like [Music] get the shine on those things let's check this out all right specimen set contains the first and the best coins struck from a pair of dies this set contains one coin of each denomination issued for general circulation in canada there's your specifications okay so that's a good start that's actually really cool um yeah that's pretty neat all right moving on what else do we have here oh great big brick of stuff we'll take a look at that here in a minute let's get the big things out of here because there's definitely some bigger stuff in here 1971 united states proof set not uncommon obviously we have quite a few of these but i mean i'm certainly not complaining we do love the proof coins [Music] [Music] beautiful [Music] all right and then it feels like we got a problem in here yeah we do lincoln cents number two 41-74 and i think there's coins in here oh wow look at that there is in fact coins a couple of the steelies are in here [Music] 50s 41 pds i'm gonna have to take a closer look at those of course as you guys know with this obsessive as we are and i am about looking at coins under the scope i'm sure i'll throw these into the scope for an hour or 50. take each one out and take a look at it so it's missing the page over here but i mean who really cares and again i mean it's just wheat pennies but it's kind of a cool way to get it and who knows if there's any kind of really cool errors or varieties in there so that's kind of neat [Music] america the beautiful quarters [Music] wow [Music] okay grand canyon so there's proof and i would assume philadelphia and denver philadelphia and denver yeah and the proof well so far i'm actually pretty liking this uh this mystery bag [Music] that's pretty awesome all right something else in here another book i don't think there's anything in this but half dollars starting 2 000. nope it's empty but i mean it's also i think it's pretty new or fairly close to new and again that's another reason why i think a lot of these mystery bags or boxes or whatever you want to call them would be really cool for getting kids into starting a coin collection because i mean just this bag alone as you can see it's a little variety of stuff there's already two albums so this is definitely a little cool little starter set for kids or anybody really what i've got here 2005 s pcgs proof d cam west virginia and it's the flag holder that's pretty cool again i mean i realize it's common but it's neat and this kind of goes with the same concept of this being great for kids or really anybody that's wanting to start a coin collection because i mean so far there's a little bit of everything in this bag all right i think it is it is empty and now we have this bag of love right here let's kind of get these out over here so we have an idea of what we're looking at and of course at the end i'll put a generalized idea of what all of this stuff would be worth on ebay combined not just individually [Music] what 1909 vdb [Music] well it certainly is so 1909 vdb link consent vg condition actually it looks like it might be a little bit better than vg i think that's some conservative grading yeah that would go fine any day okay yeah i mean in continuing with the idea of what how great this would be for somebody to start out collecting [Music] 1972 we see plenty of those but i mean hey whatever [Music] got a steely it's like a 43 plane and it is [Music] got ourselves a wood nickel niagara frontier numismatic association okay so now that's also really cool sunday november 7th 1971 buffalo new york [Music] what a great variety this has been so far 1984 canada [Music] that's really awesome [Music] jacques cartier yeah i mean so far this has been a pretty killer grab bag [Music] denver colorado transit coin [Music] so another little piece of variety there canada 1916 [Music] large scent that's really awesome [Music] then 1917 fluffa bro nickel and then there's even more in here [Music] you guys are probably thinking to yourself man he needs to calm down it ain't that big of a deal which i know it's probably not that big of a deal but i like the mystery and the variety of this bag so far this has been pretty cool and you get a couple free rubber bands i mean come on 1910 10 cents say that three times fast i'm not even going to try really cool canadian dime from 1910 1905 indian head actually in decent condition yeah not bad at all [Music] game zone token [Music] so again a little bit of everything in here for people does that thing yes the design okay let's see it almost look like it was stripe doubled not that it would matter again maxwell speedster antique car coin series 2 i think i think that's just aluminum but i mean i'm sure there's many people out there that sell or collect stuff like this and that's kind of neat and from looking at the variety of the stuff that's in here i could tell right now i may not be able to find a decent value on ebay for a lot of this stuff but we're just gonna have to guestimate or get a idea or you know put our thinking gaps on and try to figure it out 1950 wheatie common of course [Music] 1948 wheatie [Music] but i mean some of these wheaties might even go into that book that was included over here so again what a great way to start collecting coins [Music] 1942 decent condition and a 1945. [Music] nice and there's more but wait there's more a couple little coin capsules in here [Music] let's see what we got really nice 1941 s red okay so that's pretty cool oh and a merc [Music] 1944 plane all right so i think that is it i'm gonna stop the camera real quick and kind of relocate some of this stuff so you can see a decent spread of the variety right back all right so again total out the door for all these goodies was 57 uh you guys tell us what you think what do you think of this grab bag honestly i i liked it because it's it's a decent variety and this would be a great way especially for somebody to get a child who's interested in coin collect to get them started on their collection i mean there is just a grab bag literally of stuff here to to start collecting and put into books and there's even books included with it so i mean you got stuff from canada stuff from the united states um this wood nickel i thought was really kind of cool i know you guys probably think it's kind of cheesy but i really love stuff like this and i mean these are pretty nice this and that wheat penny are pretty cool not too shabby so yeah throw down in the comments and tell us what you guys thought about this grab bag uh if you haven't subscribed to us yet please go ahead and do so if you like the video go ahead and give it a big thumbs up tick the bell if you want to get notifications every time that we do upload a video of course we still do have merch including those i survived 2020s coin shortage shirts link for that is down below love you all god bless and stay safe we'll see you soon
