the animation was created using depth maps and the cool thing about this is that you don't have to spend time modeling your environment you can do this with any image and we are going to generate depth map using AI we open meters I'll leave the link in the description this is the image that we're going to work with I got this image from the game straight and we want to create the depth map of this image so go ahead and upload it to meters after uploading it click submit so then you go ahead and click on this icon and download it open our blender software let's do the default Cube you add image images planes we'll import the background next thing you want to do is to subdivide this so you can press tab right click subdivide let's do 100 subdivisions go back to objects mode and we want to add the modifier and that's going to be the displace modifier and then we go to the texture add a new texture open and we are going to use the depth map so you go ahead and import the depth map open image it's already causing a displacement so what we'll do is go to the modifier and increase the strength so then we can come into the Shader editor and add animation link to color link the admission to the surface so we have the image emitting light you can also add your own light source into it but it all depends on you you can add a subdivision surface modifier so let's line up our camera so you can see we already have the depth in our image so it's just about matching up our camera to the image I'll try and keep the scene within the camera's view so the other thing I did was to add this smoke effect this is just an image a PNG sequence of a smoke effects that are imported just to add some depth in our scene and I duplicated it and placed it also at the back and reduce the scale I imported this cut 3D model this model was imported from sketchfab it already had the work animation all I did was to go into the non-linear animation Tab and where we have the animation action clip I repeated the animation steps so for the texture of the cut the glowing texture all I did was to mix the Shader by adding an emission and then using the layer width using layer with the facing option to use that as the factor with the color ramp to make the edges of the cards glue while retaining the other materials so we set our camera and we created this quick animation the other thing after animating our camera I added this camera chic so make it look realistic like it's a handheld camera this was done with the camera shakify album so you should try that out and then last but not the least to make it have this 3p effect like a drunk view he did that in composition so here in the compositing tab added in lens Distortion I turned on jitta we go back to our layout and we enable our compositor you can see the effects how it looks with the effect of and with the last distortion on so you can see the difference so then we go ahead and render out our scene and that's how I created that you can use this to easily create your environment and your scene adding a little bit of Animation you know go crazy with it this is a easy trick I hope you have fun with it share any of your works so yes this is physically how I did it hope you found this helpful don't forget to like And subscribe and I will see you in the next video
