friendly they're very friendly well listener and a rather tight jacket makes it a little more fun oh it's hard to breathe watch - all blow at you good evening Andy I agree oh I must warn you Andy won't say a word why um he's not used to making really public appearances so I think you know he'll whisper answers to me can I listen while he whispers oh I should I say one word Andy we're very curious and that's why everybody is so friendly we read much about underground movies and all of Andy's work which we know so well what would you first of all tell it tell the audience for those who might not know what underground movies are these are not war stories oh how can I tell you it's um so far they've been visual experiments I'm people making movies trying to see if they could do it and they are not shown in theaters there's some in one theater in someone down in the village it's just one theater otherwise private showings I see what would be the subject matter for example they're not stories necessarily what happened there's been one that's been a take I don't dare say I really don't cuz everyone a whispered to me channel I was presenting them all we know I don't wanna be involved and we had a thumb to this movie going with somebody sleeping for eight hours was it eight hours eight hours it's true I have to say it's true it's an eight hour movie and the cameras on somebody and all they're doing is sleeping we can see them breathing you know and does it take eight hours to watch it well those who that's what it was all before I got in on it now it's all changed oh there are really it's there's dialogue now we have other influences and we're going to have a big production a real thing which isn't going to be eight hours it'll be an hour and a half oh and it will have more than one person in what's that gonna be called Jane Eyre what is it but that's been done when that must mean the original story can you believe it out of the underground movies Jane Eyre is going to emerge naturally and you're gonna start aspect yes how will it be different can you imagine Jane Eyre being somewhat Spacey and timeless and using the plot but putting it into a modern context modern context it literally really you don't sound convinced no I am I view I think it'd be an interesting trip you want sir are you playing Jane yeah oh well I could play err don't go too far there Rene you made an T laughs are you all right Andy yeah I heard him he said yes you broke the spell Edie tell me this that's a drag what I want to hear any more on that oh yes stop now you you are a superstar or you want to be a superstar um what does difference between a star and a superstar it's two things one is a joke and the others are possibly a real superstar if there could be such thing has there ever been ah let me like that there must have been a well it's a question of shaking no that's alright I'll help you out you haven't been on television beforehand twice oh and it's terrible it's very easy here compared to the other one I know well don't look at anybody who's talking tell me about what would you consider in the past to have been a superstar oh those kind of questions are too difficult because they're fabulous stars but I wouldn't want to say super stars in modern word I don't want to apply it to the best well what is your definition of a superstar something either fantastic or ridiculous and that remains to be seen it may be ridiculous if we can't get it off the ground it'll be ridiculous how do we can do a home movie and how did you how did you discover you could come on you can tell me a bum mistake by mistake and he's not telling aren't you no I'm the one who has to make a fool of myself and then you can just sit there quietly how did you two meet um I came to a nice to do with a friend and I didn't know Andy and I really didn't know too much about New York and he was in the process of making an underground movie which when I walked in I couldn't really tell what was happening there were lots of lights and people running around doing things and then there were some people huddled together with more lights and they were sort of making sounds and all of a sudden I understood they were reading a script and that was the part of the movie and now you should progress well I just happened to be pushed onto a chair in the middle of it to sit there and I really didn't have anything because I never would do it otherwise oh and I just sat there and from that time on I got up the courage to do some more I'm not sure I ever will again oh yes you will tell by looking right here we'll be right back after station break [Music] what's that gonna be called Jane Eyre what is it but that's been done uh when that must be mean the original story yes can you believe it out of the underground movies Jane Eyre is going to emerge naturally and you're gonna start how will it be different um can you imagine Jane Eyre being
