this is really so unfair i have to friggin deal with trumpety trump and y'all are going to college for free that the average man in the uk is now 5 feet 10 inches and the average woman is 5 feet 5 inches whoa y'all are tall according to the sunday times while the usa has the most how the hell do we have 565 billionaires but people live in poverty here this supposed to be the land of the free the land of the people and we have almost 600 billionaires and then there's families who can't even afford dinner at night am i the only one who sees a an issue here you guys get um you guys get over a month of paid vacation let's see it's seven in the morning filming our filming early in the morning once again i have work at nine so we need to get this [ __ ] going hello my favorite people today we're gonna be reacting to another uk video but more so we're going to be comparing uk culture to american culture once again i enjoy these kind of videos you guys seem to enjoy these kind of videos and honestly they teach me a lot about the difference between people who seemed so similar and the only difference we really had was our accents but that's not the case at all so this video is called the average american versus average british person how do they compare people comparison this is by infraro gramix the show and i'm excited to see it subscribe if you're new here and make sure you like this video let's get 500 likes and in the description down below is a link to the second channel please head over there and subscribe over there too because i want to get to 1 000 subscribers so yeah if we could do that by the end of the week i would be happy is it cold or am i just excited to see y'all all that being said let's get into the video two of the closest allies in the world today are the united states of america and the united kingdom of great britain why what do y'all need from us i mean aside from like our military equipment and money i guess what could we possibly give y'all countries considering their bilateral partnership to be the strongest of bonds the british american bloodline runs deep with millions of americans identifying themselves as having either english scottish welsh or scotch-irish ancestry given these close ties we thought it would be fun to compare these two powerful nations in this episode of the infographic show the average american versus the average brit don't forget to subscribe to click the bell buttons yeah subscribe here first of all we should explain what the united kingdom of great britain is as its own i didn't know this was going to be in here but wow what killing two birds with one stone let's let's learn an area of confusion when we talk about the uk we are referring to the united kingdom wales england ireland and scotland i know because scotland's at the top ireland is the random islands to the left and then the rest is just england and then wales is somewhere in england sovereign state consisting of four countries england scotland wales and northern ireland the average group we are discussing today is someone from the uk in terms of ancestral relations according to a census bureau american community survey nearly 27 million people identified as being art english over 5.5 million said scottish about 5 million said scotch irish and nearly 2 million said welsh although irish and german americans make up larger portions of the u.s public it's thought there are a lot more americans that have brick blood flowing through their veins but no longer consider themselves being anything other than a full-blooded american with this in mind we'll start with some comparison i feel like that has something to do with how we were founded as a country because like why would you leave somewhere and go somewhere else just to claim you're from the original place but like you left on bad terms you know what i mean so i feel like that's why we have a bunch of cassidy saying um i'm irish i'm german i'm french everything but english which i mean i'm not english but in a way i feel like all americans all white americans somehow are english right right if their ancestry goes far back enough to like pilgrimage or whatever during the founding of this country you would have to be english in some way not me though right i'm black i don't think so of a physical nature the average brit stands just a fraction taller than the average american with the bbc lately reporting that the average man in the uk is now five feet ten inches and the average woman is five feet five inches whoa y'all are tall many are short for the most part unless they like play basketball but for when you walk around in public the men aren't tall so for y'all's average height like this is just the basic line the basis you know no biggie for men to be 510 english men yes and the accent average five feet nine and a half inches and american women five feet three and a half inches yeah shoes are considered to be not so well proportioned when compared to other more developed nations with a new report from the institute of health metrics and evaluation stating that the usa is an 18th place on the world's most obese nations list you know that's so funny i was i was just thinking about like i don't know if y'all have seen these but those tick tocks from like korea or asia where people are just walking around and like their crazy street fashion and the people are so tall and i'm just like okay uk people are tall people in the easter tall what's so wrong with america why are we short and i was like oh yeah the birthplace of what kfc the birthplace of freaking mcdonald's the birthplace of wendy's you know obesity fat we drink soda every day as if it's water or at least i do we drink alcohol at for every any occasion we can think of it's really sad but i feel like america is like the ugly stepsister of the world even though i will be honest i do think we're the best country in every aspect even if we're not we are but i feel like we're a joke it was the other populist nation in the top 20 countries which was filled mostly by countries in the south pacific the uk however might also need to get in shape with reports stating that obesity is a national tragedy and that by 2020 national tragedy will be the fattest country in europe according to the centers for disease control and prevention's latest report the average american male is now 195.7 pounds and the average woman is 168.5 pounds okay i would say i'm probably like in high school when i was in my best shape i was 145 and you know i ran a mile practically every day i played basketball i ran track and now i'm in college and i hardly ever work out and i weigh about 157 ish i'd say 155 so from in the span of what three years i've gained 10 pounds that's not terrible and i'm still below the um the weight average for the nation i'm okay the british man is 186.2 pounds and the average woman is 154 pounds does the fact both countries are perhaps on the heavy side influence life expectancy american men on average will live to 77.11 years and american women 81.94 oh this is true the kingdom can expect to clock out at a similar age on average with male 1 well clock out i he really said clock out on life i'm dead the irony is saying i'm dead for a topic like this anyways i'm 21 so if the average for women is only 81 i only have 60 years left we love math but like i don't have a lot of time left god let me live till 100 but let me not like deteriorate in physical form let me still be able to walk around and stuff i'm afraid of death i don't comment if you're afraid of death i don't want to die where's this video going expectancy standing at 79.1 and female life expectancy 82.8 the median age meaning half the country is older and half the country younger is 37.8 in the usa for men and women and right on 40 in the uk which country is making more babies at the moment current statistics america us and uk are similar here births per woman in america averaging 1.84 and in the uk 1.9 that's so funny i'm dumb 1.84 1.9 so you give birth to the first child that's your one and then you have to get the 0.84 so you know your child has to lose like a limb or a couple toes but he needs to be the 0.84 or the 0.9 he has to lose something or she has to lose something you can't have the whole baby you need to be eastern many developed nations over the last two decades according to the cdc in 2015 6.8 people per 1000 of the total population tied the knot in the usa while in the uk that number was 4.5 per 1 000. around 42 okay honestly wait wait wait y'all's marriage rate is lower than ours but your birth rate is higher i don't know how i feel about that okay we love being in the middle of a reaction and your freaking camera dying so let's just jump right back into it uk marriages end in divorce with almost half of u.s marriages ending the same way i'm not sobering that's sad they said 50 of our marriages end in divorce uk marriages end in divorce with almost half of u.s marriages ending the same way on that sobering note we'll take a look at money matters in terms of industry both nations are considered champions of the world but according to the united nations economic commission for europe usa citizen grosses a higher salary than the average uk person the average huh and it was interesting for me to hear y'all's take on your health care system and the pay and wages for doctors and nurses i thought universally nurses one were treated like like kings and queens um because of the work they do but especially like economically at least we are here in america nursing is like one of the highest entry level careers pay pay wise that someone can go into so it was it was interesting to hear that that's not the same for you guys over across the pond salary in the usa was the fifth highest in the world ninety three at 4 month while the uk sat in fourteenth place on the list with a i wish i could get almost five thousand dollars a month i wish i could get three and a half thousand dollars a month hundred age of dollars per month in terms of cost of living americans might need a few extra dollars with one report putting the usa in eighteenth place in the world on a cost of living index and the uk in 29th place yeah it's expensive that cost of living and wages can change dramatically from city to city if we take a look at the economics big mac index we find that the cost of a big mac in the us is five dollars and six cents while the brits only pay 3.73 at the same time the index shows someone in london has to work on average one minute longer than someone in new york to buy the same burger at the high end of the annual scale the us is home to the richest man on the planet microsoft co-founder bill gates whose fortune amounts to around 87 billion what why do you even need that much money for can you imagine billion not 87 million 87 billion if you were to cut that in half it would still be 43 point something billion he'd still be a multi-billionaire from microsoft who who's the founder of apple and how much does he have and i know there's probably a difference because i feel like microsoft came out before apple obviously but if bill gates is out here becoming this rich why isn't everyone just starting a tech company or making computers or making appliances and you know stuff like that how does a man reach a fortune of 87 billion dollars that's that's that's crazy but it's inspirational wow that's crazy the richest person in the uk is actually listed as two brothers who are part of the hinduja family their net worth is around 16.9 billion dollars according to forbes in total there are 135 who are they henduja family nothing like the kardashians their net worth is around 16.9 billion dollars according to forbes in total there are 134 billionaires based in the uk according to the sunday times while the usa has the most how the hell do we have 565 billionaires but people live in poverty here this supposed to be the land of the free the land of the people and we have almost 600 billionaires and then there's families who can't even afford dinner at night am i the only one who sees a an issue here not to say that it's the billionaire's problem to fix our country but sir one percent of your income would literally solve almost every problem in this country they could literally fund our military they could fund our health care system they could fund the pl we don't want to fund the police so my point is they could do a lot with one percent of each person's income our country would look like japan structurally you know all these weird videos that you see of like skyscrapers and weird trains and stuff going like technological advancements we could reach that if our country wasn't so selfish if the people in our in our country actually acted like one instead of being very self self motivated but then again i feel like that's all a part of the american ideal everyone has a chance to become successful so it's kind of like it really is like the hunger games in america you don't really care about who you have to step on to get to where you're going the point is you need to get to where you're going at any means possible i want to come to the uk i'm tired of it here it stinks at 565. what do americans is really guilty for all their hard work well the brits don't work as hard according to one study that divided the total number of hours actually worked by the average number of people in employment per year the usa was 16th on the list at 34.40 hours per week and the uk was 24th on the list at 32.25 hours per week the brits also get more time off with workers by law given 5.6 weeks of paid vacation what the heck dude literally why am i here 5.6 weeks on vacation we're lucky if we get a weekend literally you're lucky if you get a weekend and if you even get a weekend you could be fired for it you guys get um you guys get over a month of paid vacation and aren't y'all like a socialist country too you get free health care right honestly i'm gonna be like 100 honest when i get my nursing degree i am probably not going to stay here i want to do travel nursing i know that for sure but probably i'm going to the uk you know the only issues i'll probably have i feel like are like with the people because i don't really get y'all sense of humor and sometimes i do think y'all can be mean and i'm too soft for that and also i'm afraid of the stabby stab but for the most part everything on this list has proven that the uk is better than america time to fly ship vacation time per year in the us there is no such law and paid time off is an agreement made between the employer and the employee the average paid days off in the u.s this makes me sick with that number increasing with the number of years in a certain job the uk has less public holidays though at eight eight days with the us enjoying ten national who cares you know this whole public holidays doesn't even matter the last job i had they made so many different loopholes to where you couldn't get paid like that extra money for working on a public holiday say it's like july 4th a national holiday banks are closed schools are closed you know it's a big deal to for that day but you know if you still go to work you're supposed to get paid extra money because you're working on a public holiday at my previous job there were so many different rules like you had to have been there for say 90 days well the the job turnover rate at this place was so frequent that hardly anyone was ever there for over 90 days so you're basically working on a public holiday where you're supposed to be home with your family for basically nothing in a way i remember they had me working thanksgiving christmas new year's and new year's eve and i didn't find out i wasn't getting paid the extra money until um january and i was like what do you mean i just worked for public holidays back to back to back and they're like no you need to be here for 90 days you don't know how livid i was what am i what's the point of this my point is still america sucks y'all are better with literally every single thing on this chart right now america doesn't measure up holidays americans may work harder but they also seem to be getting more for their buck while the british public have been dealing with drastically increasing property prices they also live in very small abodes studies have found that britain's houses on average are some of the smallest in europe at around 818 square feet american citizens on average can enjoy much larger living areas with the average house size being around 2160 square feet the us also but isn't that also we have a bigger country i feel like more room to build or in terms of vehicle ownership america is third on the list of number of vehicles owned per 1000 people at 797 excluding motorcycles and anything else on two wheels the uk lies in 34th place on the same list with 519 vehicles per 1000 people rising i'm sorry to keep pausing another thing we don't have the only place you see like public transportation used heavily as like the main source of transportation is like new york and that's not even i'm not even talking about the whole east coast just new york maybe a couple buses around the tri-state area and then i think the west coast in california but literally everywhere else down to florida to washington to what's up here oregon and all that it especially down in the south you're lucky to see a a train we everywhere in the middle to the top left to the bottom right is very vehicle-based to travel you need a car basically property prices expensive cars what does this mean in terms of borrowing money household benefits online which is measured by all money owed to financial institutions whether it be for a house or a bmw has both the uk and the us in the top 10 countries of the world for 2016 the uk was in sixth place on the household debt list and the us not far behind in seventh place uk citizens looking for a higher education and a good start in life might also have to take on a lot of debt before they actually embark on a career while much of europe enjoys a free ride or low-cost higher education that's another thing you all get free education like college education like university and education free this is really so unfair i have to freaking deal with trumpety trump and y'all are going to college for free and is now said to be the most expensive place in the world to get a college degree the latest reports state uk nationals attending an english university can expect annual tuition to be eleven thousand seven hundred fifty dollars hell no okay never mind y'all don't get college education for free twelve thousand dollars for a semester hell no to the nine thousand four hundred ten dollars americans pay on average per year on average the class of 2016 in the usa owed around 37 172 in loans while students graduating from a university in england could expect to owe as much as something in the region of 40 to 55 000 scotland wales and northern ireland all have cheaper university tuition fees or no tuition fee for scottish people studying in scotland students may still have to borrow to study though with a recent report by the student loans company stating average student debt in northern ireland in scotland was around twenty six thousand dollars and fifteen thousand dollars respectively the welsh have part of their tuition fees paid for by the welsh government but students still rack up debts on average of around twenty four thousand dollars uk citizens may take some comfort in matters of health care with most costs covered by britain's national health service this part's gonna make me mad it's an article in the atlantic this year stating that more than a quarter of americans said that someone in their household was struggling to pay off crushing medical debts with that we come to the end of today's show head on over to the so in conclusion america's trifling and everything in europe is better as expected free college tuition free health care lower cost of living this video just pissed me off but i'm like serious about moving out of this country seriously in fact i spent two summers ago i spent basically the entire summer in london so i got to experience some of y'all's culture and ways the biggest adjustment i really had was the conversion rate between pounds and dollars and remembering what side to look at when i'm trying to cross the road but everything else was very similar and i feel like living in the uk is honestly more is it good to say more better is it's better than living here so see me soon i'm coming across the pond america is shite i'm officially a british person a bed or a lady bed if you will okay bye [Music] you
