pepper on your food what about the verb season sure you can use the verb season I season my food with salt and pepper so can I say pepper and salt no you can't change the order we have to say salt and pepper salt and pepper not salt and pepper use it in sound salt and pepper not pepper and salt in the action shake you shake the pepper you shake the salt that's why they're called shakers this is a
