American Airlines JFK - LHR Premium Economy - IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

hi everyone Welcome to our Channel suitcase and points today we are flying from New York to London with American Airlines in premium economy let's start with a review of the aircraft with my travel body Max this fight was operated by a Boeing triple seven 200 aircraft in three class configuration with premium economy cabin taking just three rows unlike for example British Airways or other competitor Airlines as you'll see further all premium economy seats are quite spacious double Hydro seeds have ginormous amounts of space though I suspect they'll all be reserved for AAA Elite passengers one big disadvantage of the premium economy cabin is that you have to use lavatory of the economy one which is located at the back of the aircraft so once line premium economy you do have a priority boarding I think we were in a group three so here is the sneak peek on the business class it looks very similar to the British Airways business class which we took on our way from London to New York you can check that video on our Channel our seats were in a second troll of the premium economy cabin the seats themselves were quite wide and had plenty of space as you can see there is really a lot of space there is a footrest armrest and a very big screen from the entertainment they have an extensive list of different movies new releases a series and Etc so even if you forgot your own iPad or a book you will not be bored on this six hour flight if you're a season in the first row of the premium economy you have your screen folding from the armrest which I think is similar for many airlines now it's time to take off and have the last view of the amazing New York skyline thank you [Music] foreign [Music] so back to the flight review let's check what do you get at American Airlines premium economy the kit is pretty standard you have a pillow a blanket headphones and an amenity kit so the mini ticket was from the brand Shanola I personally don't know this brand I'm curious though what kind of brand they have in a business class as it must be something more well known if you know leave a comment anyways premium economy amenity kit had all the Necessities there are socks sleep mask dental kit earplugs some hand cream and a lip balm again the Cosmetics is from the brand I never heard of before and it also had a cute little pen so by the form of the pillow I would say it's more to support your back than for the actual sleep there was also a fluffy blanket anyways as we had an early morning flight we were not planning to sleep it's nevertheless nice to have all of that so if you get called you can use it or if you just want to feel more cozy there was also a pair of headphones which looked quite cool again we did not use it just because we always use our own headphones so I can't say much about the quality of the sound so while we were waiting for our food we decided to check whether we can order anything on the screen and there you have the whole list of all the drinks which are available on the flight both alcoholic and non-alcoholic so initially we thought that we can actually order from our seed by just like tapping on the screen but funny enough it's only for the entertainment purposes so you cannot actually order anything from your screen premium economy and economy have the same food card and the same crew so we were among the first ones who served with the food but nevertheless it really took some time first and it was a real surprise for me that they did not have any sparkling wine in other premium economies for example in virgin they always have a sparkling wine so we took a bloody mary which was from the premixed Khan which honestly was not very nice then we got our lunch it was some beef with potato and some salad again both of us we didn't really like it although the dessert was quite delicious it was a lemon cake the fact that the premium economy and the economy have the same service has somehow spoiled our experience because again if you want something a glass of water a gene a pretzel you have to go to the back of the salon and get it yourself for the second meal we got some kind of a salad which actually was not so bad as it felt fresh and healthy by that time we reached London we could not believe how dark is that mainly because of the time difference it felt surreal and this is it thanks for watching our video it's suitcasing points press like subscribe to our channels for the updates and follow us on Instagram suitcasing points bye
