welcome to the 2022 nick simmons track classic today it's event one all out 200 meters versus subscribers let's go see who showed up oh my god what up you dean dang we got a turnout today we have eight female competitors and 32 male competitors that means ladies it's your lucky day straight finals for the women men you're gonna have to earn your way into the finals we have four randomly chosen heats of prelims that means top two from each heat we'll make the finals let's get to heat one this is what you're fighting for a packet of run gum this is your ticket into the final derek you already oregon state champ at 100 and 200 meters you guys and look at him putting on a show the state champ gobbling up track in lane one who is this in lane three then lane three that is gavin going with the state champ lane one in lane three they clearly have this one sewn up and they actually start decelerating with 50 meters to go they are just jogging damari one gavin two final times 23-4 for damari 23-7 for gavin those are your heat three qualifiers and not to be outdone it is jake the future of track and field we'll be seeing him at the olympic games in 2040 well done jake thanks for sharing you two are the future track and field you know that and in lane one bison cometh 200 meters i got my work cut out for me on this one guys and you may have noticed that i just pulled out a secret finals this is gonna be the neurisa show she's in lane four she's the sister of damari and she also happens to be an oregon state champion she is about to put on a show can anyone beat her we're about to find out they're off and look at theresa go she has already made up the stagger on all of her competitors with that long powerful stride how fast is this girl going to run today she said her pr is about 25 flat and look at her just take over this event go theresa go we are gonna cheer her on to the finish line but this is truly as i called it the nuresa show 25 flat comes and goes boom 27 8 on a cold windy day i love to see it and rounding out the medalists it is amelia with the silver in 28.1 and the bronze medal goes to hadley 28.8 well done ladies fresh off a break she was out for a workout how was that it was tough for the first one back not gonna lie at all yeah well normally you'd train a little bit before jumping right back in a race those girls gave you a heck of a run for
