All about wells: How a water well is drilled

all right trucks have just arrived from lien Sims drilling services in South Carolina big ol truck we're gonna a little nervous about the side hill here but I think they've been in worse places and they're gonna back it in to the spot I picked go the details in us later vertical drill down and get the rock going here what kind of bid is this I say try my holy oil drilling type bid right I bet it is they change it they hold on well so these are used from the old the industry if I had put it on Wow Thank You Lorraine oh wow that's cool that's good to know but you know they'd already got probably got a million dollars already invested 15 you wanna Kyle's right PUF truck here going down I hit rock got a foot here let's see what they get hedid dropping down a rock but eight feet that go right through I wrote her bitch the birder we hit bedrock okay we've hit bedrock at 50 tonight 80 feet sorry taking that out we're gonna put casing in now got about 80 feet six in a quarter casing here in the South that's an oil industry standard so they get their bitch from the oil industry to get their pipe sizes see how they put these together know that glue okay we're gonna push the casing down they all fell down except for the last one it's on the bedrock yeah the bedrock was drilled about a foot the two feet and allocation they're gonna push right down on the bed I hope the casing that for the four of them all right the casing has been set and now it's time to clean the hole come all the sand that's in it all right I got a chance to look in the casing there they got it flushed out we're gonna start drilling for water through the bedrock I'm just gonna put a little piece of extension the casing on here because it's close to the ground mr. drilling through the rock facing fling down some water we're about to start drilling Sbrocco all right we're hammer drilling now I know that's loud we hit about 5 gallons a minute at 95 feet and we're gonna keep going see how much we can get out of her I'd be happy with I'll be happy with five happy with that we hate early five whatever tipper dude of course then great when the drill bit counted will go down a little fast it means you hit a six gone for another fracture get water ready I start grilling real fast like a punch through a fracture my wells producing probably about okay we got the casing is finished topped off we put a simple pump cap on for now and we're gonna get another one of those white plugs they're gonna grout it you got to grab these things about 20 foot deep and that's just bentonite clay to keep any ground water from running alongside the casing and we are just about done we're gonna mix up their bentonite I guess they pump it down we're about to see you
