All 20+ Hypixel Ranks Explained In 7 Minutes

5 pixel is one of the largest Minecraft servers with millions of unique players to select few have managed to earn themselves some of the various ranks of all time and today I'm going to be explaining every single one including some secret ranks you may have ever heard of so let's get started then online this is the default rank that every player gets when they join Hypixel and it's not great you have a great name great X that's hard to read a three second chat delay and you get ignored by everyone the donator ranks these banks are pretty boring compared to some of the others but basically anyone can buy these ranks from the Hypixel store for perks on our server if you want to look at them in more depth I'll leave a link in the description the YouTube rank this rank is given to Minecraft youtubers or streamers with over 30 000 subscribers or followers and an active Channel it can also be given to people who don't upload Minecraft content but you need over a hundred thousand subscribers this event gives you a red name and has the same perks as MVP plus plus along with others such as access the Discord commanding games you can turn invisible using the vanish command you gold name and it's given to people who work at Mojang Studios and it has the same perks as YouTube rank the events rank this is a custom rank with a gold name given to the two accounts Hypixel events and Hypixel karaoke which were dedicated to running official Hypixel events however today only Hypixel events owns this one and Hypixel karaoke is a VIP VM CPU act this is a custom rank that stands for master control panel or player and is owned by the account master control it has the same box as the admin rank which I'll cover later in the video Network developers and operators have access to this account but not much information is known about it the pig rank this is a special rank given to techno blade who was one of the most influential players on the server Hypixel gave him the rank after he won the first Minecraft Monday back in 2018 and he got an extra plus every time he would win when Minecraft Monday eventually ended Tango blade had managed to win three more events leaving him with three extra classes and the owner of 5 pixel events said that in order to keep the van techno would have to upload one video every week to keep it permanently which he did it gave techno the same perks as YouTube rank but it was still incredibly special when techno Saudi passed away earlier this year Hypixel briefly added a memorial to commemorate him in the main lobby showing the huge impact he had on the community the game master this one will pass the moderator rank but they have the same job they are paid members of the staff team with a green name who moderate the server and work on improving the player's experience if you want to apply for this position I'll leave a link in the description and the admin rank admins are paid staff members and are the highest level of Staff working as developers staff managers customer support artists and animators projects managers build team leaders finances and operators they have a red name access to every permission on the server and depending on the role they may have access to every permission on the forums page via no rank this rank is owned by the two owners of the server Hypixel and reset they also have a red name and have the same perks as the Athen rank or that it's time for the removed ranks Junior helper this rank was given to younger players who didn't meet the age requirement for helper and they would help her on the server after school and during the holidays they had a blue name and some had helper permissions whilst others just had higher priority and playable reporting this rank was removed due to the issues caused by younger staff and Hypixel have said it is unlikely to be repeated helper this rank was given to voluntary players who was 16 or older they also had a blue name and focused on helping players on moderating chats this rank was later removed and I don't know why if you know leave a comment down below moderator this rank is basically the same as the game master rank but it was an unpaid position they had a green name and focused on dealing with the rule Breakers and helping players in game game and on the forums build team this Fang was given to build this in Hypixel who made the maps and game lobbies they had a cyan name and the same permissions as moderate it was removed in Late July and they were given the app and rank instead no team plus this one was given to administrators and managers of the build team they had a sire name with the red plus and also had motivator permissions but this rank was removed on the same day as the build team rank they were also given the admin rank as a replacement the special rank a couple years ago Hypixel used to have a VIP lounge agent kit and moderator was in this Lounge when he told her however they were special to him a random member replied I wish I was special to you Asian kid then decided to give him the special rank which had a light gray name and the same perks as usual a few days later this rank was removed the retired rank this rank was given to knock CD who left the Hypixel team it had a red name and the same perks as admin but it was surely removed he later rejoined the Hypixel team and now has the admin one in beta tester this rank was given to the first few players to test the minigame it had a bright pink name but didn't have any perks and it was soon removed God this rank was a small joke poured by the Admin team and it was given to a random player they had a yellow name and no perks and it was quickly removed above the rules Asian kid was briefly given this rankers a joke after giving a player for special rank it had a dark red name with no perks and was removed a couple days later mcfo hosting this rank was given to humid MC the co-founder of a Minecraft hosting service called MC Pro Hosting they're the lime green and white shirt prefect with a red name color and had the same perks as YouTube rank Apple this one was come to the player apple as a thank you for helping out on the server it had a golden name and the same perks as YouTuber after his removal Apple was given the MVP Plus rank Nixa this rank previously known as beam was given to players who worked at mixer since Hypixel was partnered with them the only two players known to have this one blank with suit James and Sasha River and they had a sire name with the same perks as YouTuber their sign was removed after mixes shut down in 2020 Angus this was a customized rank given to a member of the staff team called prepared Angus it had a red name with the same perks as Adam and ranked but it was soon removed sloth this was a customized rank given to sloth pixel who I think is hypixel's old account it had a red name with the same perks as adminarank but it was later removed cringe this one was come to the YouTuber Lego Maestro as a joke it had a yellow name with the same perks as usual rank but it was only seen in the server for two seconds before being removed salmon this one was given to stream a slash crash cup since he nearly crashed the server simply by using the water in the summon kit in Skywars since he was nicked at the time he couldn't type anything whilst he had the line so we don't know what color the chat prefix was Minister this was a Skyblock exclusive thing given to the most voted candidate to lead the uprising of sky block these players were 56 Ms unfg I'm there 30 virus very e-boy and refraction however since 2nfg was banned at the time he never received the rank they received the red rank after defeating mayodonte in the event mayor this was also a Skyblock exclusive rank given to technoblade for being the most versatile candidate and leading the uprising against mayor Dante this rank had a pink name and the same perks as usual and that is every Hypixel
