Probably my favorite album by my favorite band. Layne seemed so grateful to actually land this gig.

I think by this point he was already pretty far gone as far as being addicted. He lost his wife or fiancé in October, shortly after recording MTV Unplugged, and that was the true beginning of the end.

It’s such a sad story.
