Ed always puts out great stuff. I just wish we didn't have to wait 16 months since his last video. It'd be nice to have more frequent 8-10 minute clips to give us something to watch and hopefully more opportunities for him to hit the ad revenue jackpot.
Found his shows on YouTube by accident a few years back and enjoyed every one. Hilarious and fun. Captured some good essence of travel.
Seen it already and it's brilliant as usual ;)
I would be inclined to think that a major adv-bike (like an Africa Twin) would be needed for that kind of trip, but, perhaps, the 90 was the best because (1) It started up again and again, (2) every bike repair person could work on it, and (3) it wasn't appealing to thieves.
Ed was who got me onto this years ago and i could never be more greatful for him documenting how fun motocamping is. I wish he were more famous and didnt struggle so much with finding editors and money.
I've been watching his videos today as a result of this posting, and that little motorcycle has really begun to appeal to me. I then learned that there's a variant called the "110" used in Australia in something called the "Postie Challenge", which is an organized ride in which nobody brings their own bike, organizers travel with spare bikes, etc. It seems obvious that I'd need a 125 on account of my weight. I go to the Honda USA website, and on the front page is their newest version of this bike, the "Trail 125 ABS". How odd is that? Has this utube guy promoted this category so much that Honda has taken note? Anyway, I'm not ready to buy a bike, but find all of this rather compelling. I wonder what others have to say about this newest version (like can it be repaired everywhere like the older ones).
