Al Pacino recalls memories of Diane Keaton

ladies and gentlemen the recipient of the am I like achievement award [Music] hi guy good seeing you I like your hat I have to say there's I have a lot of memories of Diana I I guess I feel as though I've known you my whole life so we're Diane I have a couple of instances mainly the one when we all met for the first time died I don't know if you remember it it was in East Harlem in it was in a restaurant called Patsy's with the intimate cast of The Godfather so there was Marlon Brando he was there the Godfather at the head of the table and I remember he got up early on and introduced himself and walked over to Diane and he said hi Diane I'm Marlon Brando and she looked up shook his hand and said yeah right okay good that's fine okay his diam I remember leaving the house once and I haven't had an interview and I'm very uncomfortable here of course but at interviews I'm even more uncomfortable we believe it and I was going we discussed it a little bit and she was very encouraging helping me along and I was leaving and as I was leaving she called out to me said al you're gonna be okay just remember whatever you do don't say you're an artist I really appreciate it it was good advice died but I have to say now dare I say it forgive me you're an artist I you're a great artist I remember it and I love it and I love you favor [Applause]
