Airalo Tutorial | How to install an eSIM on iPhone (iOS 17): QR Code Method

in this tutorial we'll show you how to install an eim on your iPhone using a QR code before getting started ensure your iPhone is eim compatible carrier unlocked and has a stable Wi-Fi connection let's dive into how to install an eim open the AOW app and tap my eims tap the eim you want to install then view instructions tap QR code at the top of the screen screenshot the QR code or tap share QR code then save image to save an image of the QR code on your device go to settings cellular or mobile data and tap add esm tap use QR code open photos and select your screenshot or saved QR code an activate eim screen will pop up on your iPhone tap continue twice and wait it will take a few minutes for your eim to connect when it's complete tap done next if prompted label your new eim plan you can choose one of the suggested labels or create a new one we recommend creating a custom label that's easy to identify you can change it at any time if your eim is data only select your primary line as your default line and tap continue if your plan has calls and texts select your eim line and tap continue select your primary line to use your number for iMessage and FaceTime then tap continue finally tap your eim line for cellular data it's really important that you disable allows cellular data switching to avoid roaming charges from your carrier tap continue congrats you've successfully installed your eim when you arrive at your destination you can activate your eim line to access your data here's how first turn on your eim line go to settings and tap cellular or mobile data label your eim if not prompted to do it during the previous steps tap your [Music] eim TAP Mobile plan label you can choose one of the suggested labels or create a new one we recommend creating a custom label that's easy to identify tap your eim and toggle on turn on this line next check if you need to enable data roaming on your device go to the AOW app and view your eim instructions tap your eim toggle data roaming on or off now you can enable your eim line for cellular data tap cellular data and select your eim if your plan includes calls you can enable that next next tap default voice line and select your eim to use it for calls and texts finally toggle airplane mode on and off your eim should automatically connect to a supported mobile network if you need more assistance please contact our support team and they'll be happy to [Music] help [Music]
