hello everyone and welcome back to rizat Graphics in this tutorial you will learn to create a floor reflection in After Effects [Music] so let's get started open Adobe After Effects then create a new composition I am calling it floor reflection the resolutions to 1920 by 1080 pixels 30 frames per second and set the duration to 7 Seconds let me import the text animation footage and texture drag and drop the text footage to the main composition I am going to make floor reflection for this text animation you can apply the same method for your projects select the text and press s to open scale properties decrease the scale to 10 percent right click on the footage and choose pre-compose I am calling it text animation foreign composition and press control plus d to make it duplicate select the bottom layer then enable the 3D option press R to open Rotation properties then change the X rotation to 180 degrees now hit the peaky to open the position properties then change the text position to something like this go to the composition menu and create a new composition I am calling it floor drag and drop the texture footage to the floor composition press s to open scale properties then decrease the scale to 50 percent go to effects and presets search the effect motion tile drag and drop the texture change the output width and output height to 500. also select the mirror edges right click on the texture then choose pre-compose rename it to floor texture then enable the 3D option press R to open Rotation properties then change the X rotation to negative 90 degrees press P to open position properties then change the Y position to something like this again drag and drop the motion tile effect to the texture composition change the output width and output height to 500. select the mirror edges right click here then new and select the camera select the camera layer and hit P to open position properties add a keyframe go to the last frame and change the camera position to something like this go back to the main composition now drag and drop the floor composition just below the text compositions hide the floor layer right click here then new and select the adjustment layer drag it just between the text layers rename it if you want go to effects and presets search the effect compound blur drag and drop to the adjustment layer change the blur map to floor change the maximum blur value to 100. let's see the result cool [Music] now click the invert blur option and change the maximum blur amount to 70. select all layers right click and choose pre-compose rename it to reflection build or anything you want then enable the 3D option right click here then new and select the camera go to the floor composition select and copy the camera keyframes go back to the main composition select the camera layer then press Ctrl V to paste the keyframes [Music] let's see the final result cool finally you have learned to create a floor reflection in after effect hit the like button if you found this tutorial helpful if you do have any questions or if anything that is unclear please leave a comment I will respond as soon as possible I'll see you in the next tutorial thanks for watching good luck
