After Effects Just Got Better! Exploring the May 2024 Update

[Music] good evening viewers in today's special  News Bulletin we focus on the latest enhancements   in Adobe After Effects specifically the my 2024  release version 24.4 as you know it this update   introduces an array of new features significant  workflow enhancements and critical fixes to   improve user experience joining us tonight is Eran  Stern our dedicated After Effects corresponded   Eran will guide us through the key aspects of the  24.4 update over to you Eran thank you so much   strange anchor person okay so first on the agenda  is a major Improvement in the freeze performance   with the rotor brush tool the latest update has  streamlined the object extraction process during   freeze by pre-op gating frames eliminating the  need for recalculation in every frame this results   in a quicker and more efficient freeze processes  ultimately saving editors significant amount of   time additionally After Effects Now features an  updated label color menu with swatches displayed   alongside the color names this enhancement makes  makes it easier and quicker for users to identify   and select the desired color for project items  key frames layers and markers it's a quality of   life Improvement that spans the entire application  and just as a reminder you can change the colors   and the labels in the labels preferences as  well as customize them to your own liking.   In terms of animation the update introduces a  multi-layer key frame copy and paste capability   allowing users to copy and paste key frames across  multiple layers without creating a new layer this   is particularly useful for replacing animation  sequences across different layers efficiently.   Moreover the new reverse paced feature for key  frames is a notable addition users can now copy   key frames and use a specific keyboard shortcut  to paste them in reverse maintaining consistency   and exploring variations and creating seamless  looping animations with [Music] ease the update   also enhances navigation within the program  using simple keyboard shortcuts such as I and   O will quickly navigate to the earliest in and  the latest out points across s selected layers   previously these shortcuts would only work for  the top most layer in the selected layer stock   and this update simplified the editing workflow  and actually move the CTI to where you expected   to go.
