- [Narrator] Tic Tac Toy. - [Lucy] Thanks to Moose Toys
for sponsoring this video. - I can't believe it's
been four years since we brought you home from
the animal rescue, Sandy. - I know, just look at this. She had a little adopt me vest on. - And it looks like she's
smiling in this picture. So precious. - Do you ever think
about rescuing a new pet? - All the time. - And I bet Sandy would love to have a new friend in the house. - Well there's a Scruff‐a‐Luvs Real Rescue
adoption event going on right now. - Then let's go! - Okay, we'll be back with a brand new friend for you, Sandy. (lighthearted music) (playful music) - The most lifelike Scruff‐a‐Luv yet? - 35 plus sounds and reactions? - Welcome to the Scruff‐a‐Luvs Real
Rescue adoption event, girls. I have several adorable kitties and puppies that need loving homes. - Well we can't wait to
give one a home with us. - How do we know if there's
a dog or a cat inside? - Well that's the fun. There's a mystery animal inside every box and you won't know whether it's a cat or a dog until you get it home
and give it a good scrub. - Can we take a peak at one of them? - Why, certainly. Here she is! (gasping) She might be a little frightened at first. - She's just a little fur ball. (pet shivering)
(pet whimpering) - And the poor thing is
shivering and whimpering. - I know, it's heartbreaking, isn't it? - We have to take her home with us. - Oh, that's wonderful news, girls. I'm sure you'll give her a great home. - We will!
- We will! - And in addition to your
Scruff‐a‐Luv Real Rescue, I'll be sending you home with a comb, a collar and ID tag, plus a bottle and an adoption certificate. - Oh, I can't wait to
introduce her to Sandy. They're gonna be best friends. - Oh, do you already have a pet at home? - We sure do. Sandy's our dog. Well be prepared that it might take Sandy a while to warm up to her new friend. There's often an adjustment period. - Oh, our Sandy will
be just fine, I'm sure. - Perhaps, but I've heard
stories of dogs running away, stealing food, destroying things and doing all sorts of crazy stunts when they're adjusting to
a new pet in the home. - Oh, Sandy would never
do any of those things. - No way, she's an absolute angel. - We need to get you straight to the bath. (bouncy music) You'll feel so much better after
a bubble bath, sweetie pie. (pet shivering) - Yes, we'll get your
matted fur all untangled. - And you'll be sparkly clean. - And we'll find out if we
rescued a cat or a dog, Addy! - Can't wait! - Here we go. (pet whimpering) (pet sighing) - Did you hear that sigh? - She must be feeling better already. (dog panting)
(dog barking) (gasping) - She's a dog!
- She's a dog! - Just the cutest dog we've ever seen. - Let's keep scrubbing
her so she's so clean. (upbeat music) (dog panting)
(dog barking) - Just listen to you, you're loving your bath time, aren't you? (dog sighing) (dog barking) (dog sighing) - You're so cute. What do you say we can
get you all dried off so we can take a good look at you? - Then we'll be able to select
the perfect name for you. - [Maya] There we go. - [Addy] Now we gotta
get you all dried up. - Do that and wrap around. (lighthearted music) (bouncy music) (air whooshing) (upbeat music) - She's looking good! - Just a few more minutes, pup. (rhythmic bouncy music) (air whooshing) - There. Your furs so, so beautiful and dry. No more matt. - I'm gonna treat you to
a grooming session now. (lively music) (dog panting) (dog barking) (dog sighing) - She's loving that. - I'll get those ears good now. (dog sighing) (dog panting) (dog barking) I think it's time to pick
a name for her now, Addy. What are you thinking? - I think she looks like a... I know, a Winnie! - Winnie? I love it! (dog panting) (dog barking) Oh, we need to put her collar on now. - Good idea. It's always a good idea to
have your collar and tag on. Just in case you ever get outside when you're not supposed to be. - That would never happen
to our pets, though. - Hey, speaking of our pets, I haven't seen Sandy all afternoon. Have you? - Come to think of it, I haven't either. I wonder where she could be. (bouncy energetic music) (dog slurping) She sure is hungry. - You're telling me. Here, take a break to
catch your breath, Winnie. (dog whimpering) - I think she's still hungry. - Okay then I'll give you more, no need to whine. (lighthearted music) (dog slurping) (dog hiccuping) - She has the hiccups. Pat her back, hurry! - There, there, Winnie. (dog hiccuping) (dog sighing) You all better now? (dog burping) Oh, he just burped! - You know what? We've been so busy taking care of Winnie that we haven't ate lunch ourselves. (dog whimpering) - You're right, we'll have to eat soon. (dog slurping) - Did you ever feed Sandy? - No I haven't. (dog snoring) And it looks like we're gonna have to wait a little longer 'cause
Winnie's falling asleep. (dog snoring) - I haven't seen anything more precious. (bouncy energetic music) Well that was a short catnap, Winnie. (dog panting)
(dog barking) - Or should you say, puppy nap. (laughing) - I'm glad she's awake though. Playing with puppies is the best. (dog panting)
(dog barking) - I think she'd be perfectly content if we just petted her all day long. (dog panting)
(dog barking) (gasping) - Listen, I think I hear her heartbeat. (heart beating) She must be happy. I can feel it too. Beep beep, beep beep. Beep beep. - Let me listen, Maya. (heart beating) You're right. Beep beep, beep beep. (dog sighing) (bouncy music) (dog panting)
(dog barking) Tickle, tickle, tickle, Winnie. (dog panting) - Are you ticklish? Are you a ticklish puppy? (dog panting)
(dog barking) - I think she is. (doorbell ringing) - Oh, I wonder who that could be? (upbeat music) - Hey, Addy and Maya. You left your adoption
certificate at the event so I just wanted to bring
it by on the way home. - Oh, thank you so much. - So how's everything going? - Couldn't be better. - Yeah, we got a dog! - And we named her Winnie. - I love that name. Thank you again for rescuing her. You know, Scruff‐a‐Luv's is
a proud supporter of ASPCA to help real rescue animals
find their forever homes. - That's so nice. - And how's Sandy adjusting? - Just fine, I think. - Okay, I'll let you two get
back to Winnie and Sandy then. Have a good day. - Bye!
- Bye! (gasping) - Oh, no, where did Winnie go? - I dunno, she was just there. - I don't understand. (gasping) Oh, my goodness. She's over there, Maya. (gasping) (dog snoring) (lighthearted music) - Aren't they just precious? - And to think that the rescue worker thought
Sandy may need some time to adjust to Winnie. - I know, so silly. Clearly, it's been smooth
sailing all day long. - [Lucy] New Scruff-a-Luvs
Real Rescue is available now. This was a paid
