Add a splash screen to a .NET MAUI project.

hello guys welcome to my channel in this video i am going to show you demo about adding splash screen in dotnet mavi application here i just created a new project it's called splash screen demo and it has a default.net movie splash screen so if i run the application then it will display this flash screen so i'm just going to replace existing splash screen with this google dot svg icon google icon so let me delete existing one so you can add the splash screen icon in this flash folder so i'm just going to delete this existing and let's replace this with google dot svg okay so i'm just adding this and just set this icon build action to my splash screen okay so let's see in project file so it has a google dot svg here splash screen after adding splash screen and just rebuild the application because it's going to resize the icons okay now let me run the app after like rebuild you get some error like a splash icon not now but just run the application that error will go away okay now it's displaying a splash screen but the icon size is so much big because of that it's displaying like this so here is the icon so you can resize the icon by specifying here base size something like this and whatever the base size you specify here that must be divided by 8 otherwise it's just going to display some black screen okay now let me rebuild the app okay let me run them okay so now it's displaying uh icon uh let me set background also you can set that splash screen background also by specifying here color code okay so now it's displaying uh icon with a white background color okay so that's all for today i hope you like this video and please subscribe my channel thank you so much for watching
