A Zen Japanese-Inspired Pool

after three long weeks and many challenges overcome we finally completed Andy and Heather's pool I can't wait to show it to them I really hope you like this oh my gosh it looks amazing incredible great job I love it when I first arrived I I saw this yard and it was just patchy grass and a fence right in your face with a hedge you did a fabulous job you and your team I love it a buy you did a great job we've maximized on the entire space and now you have this openness can't believe it before the guy showed up we had a very average backyard it was boring it was cookie cutter and there was no reason to go out there other than to try to clean it up and maintain it and now it's the perfect vacation spot out there there so we built a rock outc crop so you and maybe Heather if she's up for it uh can jump straight down into 8 ft of water okay let's go up here we have the first shelf that you can sit on and this lovely little waterfall that just catches the light stream with water plant so much to look at you know you've hit the nail on the head because that is really the essence of the Japanese strolling Garden it should take you round on a tour by a series of invitations it's amazing the more you explore the more you walk around the pool you find these little things that are so interesting The View changes from every different angle and it's just as great from every side coming down to the biof filter and uh let's just pause here on the zigzag Bridge okay this is of course zigzag intentionally to keep the demons off because they can only go in straight lines also it's prettier it looks good too right it looks good while we're here I've got one more little thing to show you this is your gong wow very cool I like it I like it I think I need one you can't have that one no when you need to you can wake Andy with this ready ready huh that's amazing how many Deb is that very cool I think it would Wake the Dead never mind who has a Gong in their backyard it just doesn't happen we do yep we do we're going to part through the bamboos this is your Mountain Spa wow it's heated and cleaned using a conventional chlorine system and even though it looks as though The Spar water's pouring into the pool the two never actually meet here you have complete seclusion and privacy you have the Panorama of the whole garden a great spot isn't it up here I think it might be my favorite now you said you wanted a fire pit yes look here wow gas Fir and then you just throw on the logs keep going all night I love it when you get out of the spots always cold so it'll be nice to run down here and get a little warm well if you like this I've got another surprise for you hang on what is he doing where's he going I'm so excited to show Andy and hether the surprise I've cooked up for them oh wow fire rocks I love it look at that now wait there what this the kiding another one w wow wow very cool these were hollowed out and drilled and we put in gas pipes that's awesome I've never seen that before fire op they don't actually look like an unlit fire feature they look like a large natural stone which is Beautiful by itself a Twist of a handle a little flick of the lighter and Bam I mean they're they're lit up that easy just adds a whole another dimension to the backyard
