A Very Grimm Halloween Special 2022 - Haunted Overload Halloween Haunt FULL Experience & BTS

foreign Adventure we find ourselves in Lee New Hampshire at a place we absolutely love called Haunted overload today is our annual Halloween special of course with a name like the Grim life Collective we like to visit spooky places across the country and document them but for one day a year we try to make it a little extra spooky and that is how we came up with the Halloween special a very Grim Halloween special and of course we're here at Haunted Overload because last year when we came through we fell in love with this place this time this video in order to make it a little extra special not only are we going to show it during the daylight we're also going to show it at night we're gonna light some pumpkins and we're gonna do our wedding photos here it is a very windy day which is absolutely perfect for us this screams fall now if you don't know what Haunted Overload is if you didn't see our first video that we did basically it is an outdoor hot a Haunted Trail where the fine people who create this build these enormous scary sculptures out of wood in the woods and it truly is something else do you hear that yeah those are acorns laughs this is so enchanting I love when the weather is dreary but that's really just fall weather and it's beautiful look at all the leaves falling the entrance to the Haunted Trails right over this hill and it's starting to rain a little bit which is fine it adds to it and oh yeah one more thing we are the only people here this should be interesting if we don't get blown away first and here we are baby goal at the entrance to Haunted Overload now it's been a while since we've watched our Haunted Overload video that we did last year but I think they added more Reapers here I could be wrong but I feel like there definitely is more of them especially the smaller guys so not only do they do a nighttime walk-through with scare actors and and fire actual real fire out here in the woods but you can actually do a daytime walk similar to what we're doing right now where you can see everything without any scare actors great family friendly activity that's how we came out here and found this and you can spend hours just walking through these buildings I'm not gonna lie baby goal I'm still just as excited as I was the first time we came through matter of fact matter of fact if you do come here during the day or at night it is quite a long trail so comfortable shoes make sure you're hydrated but you will be in here for I would say an hour hour and a half just walking through and it's worth the time you see what I mean they create these Larger than Life wooden sculptures they truly are out of this world and I see you over there kicking up some leaves how can you not there's so many and they're still falling it's magical man this place is just impressive again all made out of wood they pretty much make all their own props here all their own set designs and monsters and they carve their own pumpkins baby go run out there and stand in his mouth that should give you some idea how massive that thing is ready for this one go for it I have the power there's a little chipmunk on the trail he's eating the acorns oh my gosh I'm gonna walk past him gingerly don't want to Spook him oh he's so cute so this is a good reminder that we are outside so coming out here especially during the day and during the night true probably run into some sort of critter don't forget to be respectful let them have their space I say as we walk up under the pumpkins oh great look at this and these are real pumpkins by the way I can see some of them still have their seeds a little bit in fact when we got here we told them that we were here and they said that there are people on site carving fresh jack-o-lanterns because some of them got rotted oh okay is it weird that I want to smell a pumpkin kind of like stopping to smell the roses but instead you're stopping to smell good Burns pick a pumpkin and give it a whiff oh he has a cute face make sure there's no Critters inside before I put my face close to it that's good oh that smells so good and talk about photo opportunities can you imagine this place all lit up at night I'm excited to see it lit up because we haven't yet [Music] [Laughter] there is just so much to see here it's a good thing that we're here all day baby ghoul oh no baby pumpkin threw up I love that you actually go in and out of buildings as you walk through the trees you peeking through the holes don't do that at night oh wow right so this little ramp that goes up inside the sheds allows you to see everything from different angles and where we're going right now is right over here by this giant freaking Castle there's just so much to look at baby goal details are crazy wow you have to look up too don't forget I'm not gonna lie I want this for our house you know what I say this all the time I know and I feel like we need a house that has a detachable front face so that we can just kind of like make it whatever we want how cool would that be I'm sure you could build something like that we know a lot of people who build things inside this little walk through Castle there are skeletons and skulls and bones on the walls I think it's beautiful they look real yeah they do I'm sure they're not though right right I hope not some of these things are just so massive you have to stand back to really take them in but talk about transporting you to a different world right I love that they have these giant mouths it's like it's eating you and a lobster boy you were right that's Lobster Boy they do have a circus section out here in the woods like a dark carnival well hopefully if you're watching this you can hear the trees talking the wind rustling through the trees because it's pretty magical it is enchanting that looks real and right the look of this place is just mind-blowing I know they're not real and they're freaking me out especially that one yeah there are clowns on both sides of the walkway here trying not to run oh I love it when there's Bridges oh no not flipper walking up to the next section it looks like we have some Sideshow posters on the left hand side of the walkway and of course you have to walk through another structure in order to get to the next section wait a second baby ghoul these clowns have no faces did you say no faces yeah this one definitely does not have a face I have a song for that would you like to hear my song of course I want to hear your song okay I have no face to hold me down to make me smile to make me frown I have no face as you can see there is no face on me oh my God [Music] [Laughter] [Music] all right enough with the clowns more pumpkins and this time it looks like we have found a few of the different scarecrows pumpkin scarecrow scarecrows with hats our scarecrow is supposed to have bones I remember this area from last time baby goal definitely haunting that's for sure it's nice to see that it's still here it is very haunting I like it and it sounds like we're coming up on some of the workers you know it's a good scene when you feel like you're supposed to whisper stay alive and because it rained the leaves kind of have this weird mushy crunchy feel to it smells amazing though oh my God if one of these moves I'm gone We Now find ourselves in the Haunted Overload Cemetery I can hear the workers yeah they're back there working by the mansion I would go as far as saying that this is my favorite place to be in the country when it comes time for Halloween not only do they have this the walk through the Haunted Woods but you can actually go get pumpkins as well as apple cider donuts they have apple cider and this is a whole experience because it is on an apple farm and you were just saying there are apples on the ground I don't know if they're crab apples but there are apples uh here's a fun story about us and Haunted Overload from last year when we came through here we walked through during the day like we're doing right now and when we left we got some apple cider donuts and we drove away and then while we're driving down the road we started eating them they were so good that we immediately wished that we would have gotten more in fact I like an idiot told Jessica no we don't need to get any more we just you know got one or two and we have been dreaming of these Donuts for the past year we talk about them all the time oh this this shed has gotten me shivering in the knees baby cool they look very real right the first one gave me the willies I don't know if it translates to camera but we are walking down a hill right now they really love wrapping corpses up in Fabric and burlap sacks don't they yes they do and they look really really oh wow I know if we were to walk through here with scare actors I would not know which one was the real one just now walking through here uh I made a decision you're never gonna guess what I'm gonna say what's that I think we need to make our own found footage movie horror movie of course do we do it here maybe and if they'll let us I'll come back for that right oh I remember these oh oh I swear to God they're about to move and I'm about to scream oh these are slightly different kind of want a Thanksgiving meal right now this is like a Thanksgiving table for some Twisted Backwoods nightmarish world hahaha wait I still had one of the apples for her mouth you kind of just have to walk through and let the sounds of the wind and the leaves be your soundtrack to This [Applause] leading up to this Halloween special baby goal we have visited some of the country's most craziest Halloween haunts and not a single one of them had monsters or people in their haunt that look like this and you just don't see this every day and that's what makes this place different actually in a world of social media with Instagram and Facebook and Twitter and Tick Tock Ticky talk if you find any Halloween picture of these giant monstrous pumpkins or creatures out in the woods chances are it's this place that you're looking at yes heck there's even a mansion here that has even shown up on lists of top abandoned places and it's not abandoned they build it actually yes I have seen that post well this is new oh man I think we discovered what killed the town talk look at the size of those wings the wingspan when it comes to something of this size I like putting Jessica down underneath and making her stand in certain areas so you can see how massive it is I am five foot three that's insane and here's my umbrella [Laughter] very big this all right I know the pumpkins are cool the castle is cool but this winged demon blows my mind it's insane now we've been in Salem for about a week now doing some filming we filmed two pretty awesome videos I would say so I I think they're really cool but coming up to Haunted Overload here in Lee New Hampshire there's just nothing like it it's just a walk in the woods oh I saw it I saw it I can only imagine how loud these things are at night I wonder if they have an actual train horn or a train there's a train whistle train horn the one that's really really loud that some people put on their trucks to scare people in in a traffic I don't know if it's considered a horn or a whistle that's a good question I think it's a horn I don't know I think it's loud it's very loud yes oh I love it you need a giant pumpkin like that in our living room right above the couch or a pumpkin headboard to a bed that'd be something else I don't remember the section being this way and it is so leaping gorgeous the wood painted black yes this is beyond beautiful I saw pictures online of them working on some of this stuff but seeing it in person whole other story so is that a scare actor a hole like a boohoo can you oh you can actually walk through it they thought done themselves right this is Witchy as heckens heckins wow all right let's go through the witch hut or the witch hole the witch tunnel they have definitely changed this part up I remember these buildings from last year but they definitely weren't painted black my goodness how lovely half the fun for me is just walking through these buildings like this during the day I will say this little piece of fun trivia of grim life Collective and Haunted Overload our walk through last year I think is what really truly sparked our love for walking through haunts during the daytime so we can see all the artwork without any scares we love being scared but there's just something fun something cool and unique about seeing a hunt with the lights on and you get to see all the details and enjoy it before you turn and run and then I'll turn the sound off after um so the creative team found us they knew that we were here they gave us walkies and they said they wanted to turn on the sound so we can hear the gargoyle so they're gonna turn it on real quick and then we're going to turn it off in a minute it's getting pretty dark it's gonna start raining again [Music] foreign that's intense [Music] I rumbled my soul it rumbles your soul right it is so shattering I think the Chipmunks are scared and running for the lines doesn't seem to be bothered they're coming right back Brave Little Children the candles and lights on in the men's looks like they're starting to turn on some of the lights here in the haunt [Music] you're ready for tonight I love that soundtrack reminds me of Salem nightmare [Music] looks like we got another pumpkin face on the right hand side of your screen [Music] I say this is probably about a two hour walk taking your time definitely if you're gonna stop and take pictures yes especially if you're trying to run through because you're getting scared you could probably get in like four minutes flat the buildings that they create here just blow my mind [Music] foreign [Music] I know this is going to sound like a Shameless plug and I don't care if you have the opportunity to come to Haunted Overload here in Lee New Hampshire you have to it is an experience even if you just walk through during the day tonight is gonna be the first time we're gonna walk through at night with the sound and the lights on but it'll change your view on Halloween haunts like instantly oh yeah forgot about the church we definitely have to come back through and get our photos here the last time we walked through this church we are greeted some strange ghoulish people and it looks like they're still here [Music] still really cool huh carved jack-o-lanterns on the church walls oh man this is cool now that is a shot last time we were here we took a photo and it's become one of the most popular photos that we've ever taken so many people request that we autograph it at the different conventions that we go to it's even on our mantle at home [Applause] beautiful right this is our home this is our home away from home foreign we've dreamed about owning a home this is like a mix between The Adams Family and psycho and Haunted Overload and Grim life Collective this is our Dream Home I could be happy in this home with you forever yeah he's so spooky I love it how would you look at that our windows are already weatherproofed foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] s are pretty dark so we're going to break out the Loom cube [Music] I feel like the last time we came through here there was an air scare over here and it got us I feel like that's familiar oh yeah because it's the camera [Music] right this is all that up when you when you get through [Music] for God only you can go up to the second floor right I wish the hallway to the next room is outside so you actually get to see the sky as well as walk through some of the leaves [Music] oh man [Music] look at that baby there's the pipe organ for an adult as well as for a little kid oh there's an inscription [Music] it says our darling and there is a doll inside spooky now that is cool the fog is starting to roll into the woods meaning tonight is not too far away it's supposed to rain so we might get a little rained out but for now we're just enjoying this like behind the scenes of Haunted Overload watching the magic happen watching the woods come to life yeah that's just spooky oh I love it I wonder if all the woods are going to be filled like this the next building we walk into I remember this one it's just a bunch of doors so I'm gonna point this out that the leaves that you see falling is not Haunted Overload that's natural I don't think I need to say that but just in case somebody's like well they really go all out with the special effects it's not them it's Mother Nature but a good choice on their part right if we ever have a backyard our shed at least is going to look like this right like what kind of nightmares does somebody have to have in order to create this and I mean that in a good way and that's about it for a daytime walk through here at Haunted Overload got another couple hours before the guests start coming in for the night and Jessica and I want to do some wedding photos so we're gonna go ahead and do that and take you guys with us we also scouted this area for places that we want and there's a lot of them but we have like a couple hours to do this [Music] [Music] [Laughter] foreign [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Applause] thank you [Music] yeah it's a cold one you can see your breath baby girl you can see it oh yeah all right into the woods we go we got some good news and we got some bad news we were filming and we got rained out so we had to stop filming what you're about to see tonight are walk through throughout Haunted Overload takes place on the second night we had to stay here in the area one more day to make this happen because we were not going to go past this Halloween season and not see Haunted Overload during the night time right and the good news is this if we would have done it yesterday there would have been no scare actors no spooky stuff really happening just the sights and the sounds of the forest tonight there are scare actors everywhere whole show they have a headless horseman which we're going to see real soon and there's fog everywhere like you can see behind us like we are blanketed in a sea of spooky fog you ready baby girl it is cold enough that you can see your breath but there is so much fog but you can't really see it because it just Blends in I'm stupidly excited I love it yeah now we're in the fog pretty ugly listen it's my camera time yeah I won't be famous yeah they don't want to look at your ugly face number two you both are beautiful you're number two are those sprinkles on your chin yeah you Wanna Live buddy come on yeah come on how much money you got buddy for for a Sprinkle lick baby [Music] making sure Jessica's miked up can you hear me okay we got you nobody's behind you yet but there was there was oh wow [Music] so this line that you're seeing off to the left hand side this is people all waiting to get inside Haunted Overload [Music] perfect perfect all right here we go night time at Haunted Overload how by this point you've already seen this place during the daylight and now here it is at night oh man baby I think I found how our backyard is supposed to look in our house I love all the myths but beware there are creatures of the Mist too I've seen some following us oh my gosh I will say this the reapers are looking extra creepy at nighttime the lighting is what makes it still in the queue and this Reaper looks like he has a smoking habit [Music] fall in your mouth oh I see you through the fog we see some trees lit up by a UV light a black light and this might look familiar to the beginning of the video this giant dragon [Music] and you're ready for it Jessica's favorite part your hair is glowing like I've never seen before it's amazing especially with a dragon over your shoulder oh that's pretty trippy watching everybody walk into the Vortex oh it's so dark but yet so beautiful and terrifying with the chainsaws creepy conversations in the woods it took a little bit but we're finally here where all the pumpkins are you know how much Jessica loves pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns look at this look how gorgeous that looks the skull never seen anything like this before during the day is cool but nighttime is God yeah I said it was even beautiful at night oh man I like to get some music wait a second that banjo is a human being yeah and look at this if you remember our last video we pointed out the banjo baby they have it here and they call it the banjo baby right now yeah that everything in here was real including the corpses I believe I believe it because it looks real yeah it's getting a little cold so I have my video okay it's all right I'm not complaining not complaining we haven't even gotten into the hunt yet I've already filmed so much okay I think once we go through this castle that thing right there look at it [Music] and then it begins that is one massive pumpkin I love that it's smoking it has to be my favorite part about all of this it looks like the fog Has Lifted just enough time for us to go in I'm already hearing screams [Music] wow oh man here don't mind him get on in there we've been waiting for you all night you're up next on the main stage oh man abnormalities or hidden talents abnormalities are hidden talents it's a freak Show after all come on like uh get in the cages oh geez what is that are you mine um I don't know what you're talking about hey hold on hold on I'm the pretty one suck it in cookies [Music] all right baby are we going the right way I don't know where we're going okay I found something no no oh my God okay oh wow hi need a hand oh geez Louise oh geez Louise and just like that she's gone which way do we go baby girl she's red how is she hiding so well right my legs are shaking and it's not because it's cold oh oh Jesus Christ oh is somebody back there calling us in there you'll have to go first and find out I don't want to go through what oh hey oh geez Louise oh wow God no all right are we going the right way no I'm so lost wait baby look at this what the hell is that huh danger that's what that is that's danger that's what the hell that was nope [Music] that was creepy pretty all right now we're going back into the mansion oh geez Louise the lady of the matter I presume and she's got a noose around her neck oh ready oh oh I remember I knew that this was coming and I completely forgot about it I forgot about it that's so much fun I don't know [Music] that was good wow talk about slipping in and out of Shadows [Music] oh one of these is gonna move [Music] whoa Geez Louise I turned around and there was a dummy [Music] oh God look at this thing wow [Music] the creatures in the woods are something else now one of the things that I love about haunts like this is that you can smell it as well as see it he's leading the way for us [Music] ha ha whoa okay oh wow there's a lot of Mind people right no no why are they climbing the walls oh he's gone [Music] oh geez oh where are they all coming from oh that's terrible no [Music] whoa all right baby I'm sorry you gotta come through this nope oh stuck you got this [Music] oh wow [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] please oh gosh [Music] you better run [Music] oh that oh is that a Lost Child oh for the love of freak in heckins no oh my God so they come from above below the dirt oh I remember this guy now going into the church [Music] man [Music] whoa For the Love of nice goat good goat oh [Music] she's so pretty right wow [Music] I think that Jessica's gonna stay here all night yeah goodbye goodbye that was so pretty oh I should have expected it walk into the the air why do they beckon us that's okay you're going first that's great [Music] oh that's so unsettling oh that's so beautiful oh no thank you [Music] this feels like a Halloween ritual right like going from like petrified to excited to scared to all my God that's so pretty oh holy bleeps please bleeps Are You Gonna Catch My Breath it's like we're getting ready to be sacrificed at some sort of Halloween God [Music] you may be right Walk of Shame walk of shame oh [Music] I don't like this dollhouse [Music] [Music] all right I think we're at the end I remember these trucks right down through here should be the gift shop no we're not it was going to be one last scare oh that made my heart jump wait what oh did we hope you had fun baby girl we survived Haunted Overload two years we've seen this place during the daylight two years in a row tonight was the first time that we saw it full show with scare actors music lights and Tony what it's a completely different experience a completely different environment and here's the thing I wouldn't say that it was terrifying I screamed a lot you screamed a lot but they don't scream in your face there's a few flashes here and there the big thing about this from the sets to the actors the atmosphere the attitudes I felt like I was walking through a Halloween storybook like I was I was I was living in a hard fairy tale right from beginning to end there's like these creepy sounds coming from the darkness and some of the costumes are like completely black except for like there's this one where it was just a pair of hands in the darkness that was beckoning you and then once I thought I was in the clear The Whisper right at the edge of your ear and it just launched me on a rhyme but it was so pretty at the same time there was quite a few of these just beckoning you into the darkness and and then someone was around the corner it was so peaceful and yet so terrifying yes and it just sucked you in further and deeper into the woods into the darkness and yes we walked through with a light here and there so we can show some things uh but it was really neat to see how the scare actors were using the environment because this is majority outside so they would pop up and then they would slowly Melt Away into the darkness like they were like swallowing them up yeah they were so well placed they know how to use their environment I always see them and then I wouldn't I didn't see them coming at all they were so well hidden right and then how about the mine shaft with the people crawling there there's people in the mine shaft I don't think they were human beings I don't mutants they were I don't know what they were but they were coming out of out of the ground the walls twisting this way there was one person I think it was a person I don't know somebody from the Shadows that turned upside down Twisted them in some way and then chased me down the trail it was amazing this is the second year like I said would gladly come back every single year just to see this to us this is Halloween this is new tradition this is amazing with that being said from Haunted Overload happy Halloween happy Halloween
