A Sense of Place: The Dartmouth Organic Farm

The Dartmouth Organic Farm is a farm owned by the College and it's community-run, primarily by staff members in the Sustainability Office. And we grow vegetables here. Well, some of them are donated to community organizations, and some of them are just given to student volunteers. And it functions as a space for students to come and learn about agriculture, and also as a social space for students. I love coming here because it's always super pretty. It's a nice way to kind of get away from the Dartmouth campus a little bit and feel connected to the outdoors. And for me, it's also just been a really meaningful place where I have learned a lot about food systems here. And I think also, really enjoyed the sense of community out here.
